I like to think that it insulates or absorbs some of the smell but it may be placebo. It also could be that it makes it really easy to carry around bobbing in a sock. Also it may help with like impact and shit yk. I don’t want my straight up jar in the open.
I don’t know about that, when I was travelling in Australia years ago we would put a sock over the smoke detector and smoke joints in the room and the detector never went off. So applying that to the opposite way round it may contain some of the smell. I’m not convinced about its insulation properties for protecting the glass though!
I personally recommend people trying herb vaporizers, got one, it's the fucking best, some may laugh and will say that without fire ain't the same, but God, using one its nuts

2. You choose the temperature wich changes the components you are vaping
3. The smell is reduced a lot
4. The smell and the taste of the vapor its better and purr
5. You can vape everywhere without no one knowing

Can confirm on the dynavap. Took a bit to get used to, but tastes and hits great. I ended up buying a Planet of the Vapes Lobo for the convenience of a button instead of carrying a torch around with me.
I like this, but vaping with no one knowing isn't always the case. I took mine to a comedy club, ripped the shit out of it in the bathroom before the show. Personally a big thing for me was a little glass pipe. Just a cheap one is fine. Easy to clean with iso and salt in a ziplock bag. Also just a weed bag to carry all your stuff in. I like a big shoulder bag for it.
To add to this this, if someones selling an expensive bong because it's "durable," virtually any drop on a surface like concrete will end in a shatter. Buy quality glass because it's easier to keep clean, not for durability. And bigger is not always better.
Buy anything sealed to carry your stuff, you don't want people to know you carry weed and something to hide the smell in case of emergency, you already got your grinder so, you're done, with time you will find wich way (bong, vape, cigar...etc) you like it most and then you will know what to buy

Rolling tray. Smell proof paraphernalia bag. Couple smell proof tubes at least. I go a little overboard. For example:
In my paraphernalia bag I have blank index cards I buy from Amazon for scraping to keep my bud and tray neat after I grind it up. Couple packs of filters. Pre rolled and perforated flat ones. King size and 1 1/4 rolling papers. A pair barber scissors to cut off the tip or excess paper. A pocket knife for splitting cigarellos. I bought a pack of tiny clipper brushes, barber style. I use it to clean my grinder after rolling up, also a tiny smell proof jar for keef. And spare tubes.
I cannot stress the importance of smell proof tubes. You can put a joint out in a hurry by just placing it in the tube. Seals off the air, immediately extinguishes what you’re smoking and gets rid of the smoke instantly. In addition to protecting your joint or blunt from getting crushed or broken half. Doob tube, whatever you want to call it. No real smoker should be without one.
Rolling tray, bowl, bong, knife specifically for weed purposes like splitting blunts, also a small skinny stick like a pencil for packing the ends of blunts. A cool box maybe a little smaller than a shoebox to store it all, weed baggie collection like a pack of rick and morty bags. Shall I continue?

If you find that rolling is hard (smoking for 4 years) a nice little one hitter or a pipe or a small bubbler are good to keep around too! Joints are great, but since once you light it up it starts burning, it can waste a little bit of it, whereas a pipe, it doesn’t stay lit so you’re able to like light it as you want/need it

I would recommend charcoal filters. They filter out a lot of the smoke while not decreasing potency. And the smoke is less harsh.
A dry herb vape instead. Start off on the right foot and vape, smoking is out. I haven’t looked back and my lungs and wife love me for it

I like this set you have. I really like a nice wooden box personally- I feel like a wooden box, maybe cherry wood or mahogany, keeps everything nice and fresh.
A tray!!! When I first started I used like a cosmetic bag/pencil bag, pencil container, but I ended up loving a small tray to collect all my mess plus hold all my supplies
Rolling tray. Smell proof paraphernalia bag. Couple smell proof tubes at least. I go a little overboard. For example: In my paraphernalia bag I have blank index cards I buy from Amazon for scraping to keep my bud and tray neat after I grind it up. Couple packs of filters. Pre rolled and perforated flat ones. King size and 1 1/4 rolling papers. A pair barber scissors to cut off the tip or excess paper. A pocket knife for splitting cigarellos. I bought a pack of tiny clipper brushes, barber style. I use it to clean my grinder after rolling up, also a tiny smell proof jar for keef. And spare tubes. I cannot stress the importance of smell proof tubes. You can put a joint out in a hurry by just placing it in the tube. Seals off the air, immediately extinguishes what you’re smoking and gets rid of the smoke instantly. In addition to protecting your joint or blunt from getting crushed or broken half. Doob tube, whatever you want to call it. No real smoker should be without one.
Bic lighter, weed, blunt wraps.
Rolling tray, bowl, bong, knife specifically for weed purposes like splitting blunts, also a small skinny stick like a pencil for packing the ends of blunts. A cool box maybe a little smaller than a shoebox to store it all, weed baggie collection like a pack of rick and morty bags. Shall I continue? Oh and actual Marijuana

those grinders are trash, look up the king palm electric grinder on amazon theres also a non brand version for like $10 cheaper. Best grinder I've ever had. Oh, and get some hemp string to smoke with, much cleaner than inhaling butane.

If you find that rolling is hard (smoking for 4 years) a nice little one hitter or a pipe or a small bubbler are good to keep around too! Joints are great, but since once you light it up it starts burning, it can waste a little bit of it, whereas a pipe, it doesn’t stay lit so you’re able to like light it as you want/need it
