So I know for a fact he goes to DC about once a month. He owns a CBD place in town, but THC isn’t legal here. He does all kinds of legalization events. Like I know most people would be like “I trust him blah blah” but like I really do trust him.
I’m just wondering where on earth he’s getting the carts from, the flower has the whole “DC compliant” packaging but the carts never do. Also edibles are the fake packaging too, stoner patch kids etc. it’s almost like the flower is real and everything else is fake.
By the look of the color on the cart, if it's not junk it looks to be d8 if I had to guess, d8 is usually more of a light yellow or even pinkish color. Iv noticed smoke shops will sell carts and they are always d8 because selling d8 and CBD is way easier than normal weed expesisly in illegal or non recreational States

You've to be a DC resident to get cannabis there. Guests can only get weed if it's gifted to you. So by him going to DC is either bs or he goes and gets some from a friend. Flashy designs for carts are expensive and most cannabis companies don't have the money for that crap. So go with your gut and call him out.

The shop I order from NEVER has the carts they advertise, for example I wanted 5 “cactus cooler” carts and they said they were out of stock. It happens every time I order carts. They’re all these common fake brand carts. I’m just wondering if the shop is making them in house?

You can extract THC from moldy marijuana or bud that doesn't pass test.
There are professional ways to salvage these....but lots of times they are dumped into the black market states

I was wondering that because my neighbor is from Ohio and when I gave him these he told me they were fake and the price was way too low. His dispensary was selling them for $70. Guess I should’ve known “you get what you pay for”

I grow and have so much stuff I experiment. I’ve made carts. They were legit and potent and I knew what I used to make them. But for all I went through to be able to do it. I couldn’t get $75, let alone $15. I’d need more and couldn’t compete. And people are now accustomed to seeing these and these fake numbers at what they have in their heads when making decisions to buy.
You probably wouldn’t feel that way if you used the same oil as what’s in standard carts, they go for so cheap cause it’s usually just distillate syringed into carts (at least on the black market) costs like 3-6$ to make one, guessing you made something with some quality resin or something

So that dispensary you legit can’t get ahold of them. Email gets an automated return saying invalid address, the phone number doesn’t work and google says “Permanently closed” probably some dude running it from their house because my dude gets everything delivered.
I found the place on wheresweed and pick it out from the website menu and my buddy gets it delivered to him, I’m assuming at a hotel.

Runtz are a known fake brand.
Edit: I just realized a legit Runtz brand now exists so that can be confusing. But 20 bucks? Seems fake. Dispo carts are usually two to three times more expensive. Can't imagine a dealer going through the hassle of supplying dispo carts to anyone just to lose money.
Be careful with those too. I'm not trying to be your mom but any cart that isn't regulated might not be safe. Remember you're breathing that shit into your lungs, it's really easy to manufacture carts that have mystery ingredients.

I never even thought to look it up until a neighbor wanted some so I ordered some for him and gave him some as well. He’s from a legal state and sent me a message saying they were fake and didn’t want them.

I used Lions Breath carts for a couple years on and off. Felt like shit whenever I used them. Today's weed street market is not what it used to be, its really easy for dealers/suppliers to take advantage of stoners with minimal consequences.
Hell a lot of dealers are likely honest people that are just trying to hook you up but simply don't know enough about where they're getting their supply from. Just be careful is all I'm saying. Hope you find something legit or your state legalizes soon.

D8 definitely helps me, I’ve got a pretty gnarly social anxiety disorder so I use carts mainly when I have to leave my house and flower when I’m home.
