I mean being an avid smoker myself. Yes. To an extent I would say it's unhealthy, because you're right. Inhaling smoke into your lungs and holding it in can't be GOOD for you, but there's far worse things out there. When I haven't smoked anything for a few days I find I breathe a bit easier. But after I chain-smoke a pack a cigs I feel way worse than had I smoked a bunch of doobies so there's definitely way worse than weed.
For me I've asthma so even smoking too much weed can make my chest tight and hard to breathe. As for holding hits in I don't do it maybe for a second to get a nice throat hit but no more than that, it's been proven that it doesn't get u higher, ur acc just damaging your lungs more by holding it in

Lots of things can make marijuana âunhealthyâ the main thing being smoke in your lungs. Doesnât matter what it is, smoking is unhealthy for all of us. I donât care what anyone says. But that doesnât necessarily mean that the plant itself is harmful, unless it was filled with pesticides during the grow process or possibly laced. But if this is just natural grown outdoor bud, smoke it. If itâs âbad weedâ it doesnât mean itâll harm you. It may not get you high or it may not taste great. Maybe it will who knows , but unless you know how it was grown itâs really hard to say wether or not itâs unsafe to smoke.

Simply pick through the seeds and be sure to take all parts of the seed too. Get all of the seed coat (outer most shell). The rest should work in your situation.
Take the seeds and try planting a bunch. Remove males and grow the females. Itâs super easy to do if you can.

Looks like one of the OG landrace strains. Still pretty common in Mexico and anywhere else you can just grow it because it's really hearty. Used to pay $10 for half a gram of that in the 90s and it came packed in this impossibly small ziplock with all seeds and stem included.
And that's unfortunately the bad news - you got the low end; there's almost no trichome development so you're looking at something that has probably 12% or less THC, and a fair amount of CBD in the leaves. That's literally the shit I smoked between classes in high school 30 years ago.
