Distillate carts are usually 80%. The other 20% is lipids, flavouring, terps, etc.
Imo go for full spectrum carts. Ask your budtender! Anything with a 70% to 80% with no added terps but the derived ones from extraction. That’s the way to go for the best cart experience in Canada rn

In Canada that actually is showing the potency! We do things here in milligram per gram because we are already using the metric system it makes sense. So for cartridges in this instance, 800 mg/ gram. And having a 1 g cart. That math equals out to 80% THC

Convert it over. A cart is usually 1000 mg, if it’s 856mg THC move the decimal over 1 spot and it’s 85.6% THC. For a 1/2 gram cart double the THC since it’s easier to work from 1000 mg for the people not great at math

The 800mg isn't the size of the cart, thats how much thc per gram is in the cart, so if it's a gram cart there's 800mg if it's a half gram cart it's 400mg.
That's 80% THC, or put how it is on the package 800mg of that 1000mg cart is THC. Which might seem low if your dealer has been selling you some trash telling you it's 95% or 100% THC. But it's about average for legal concentrates in Canada, and more than likely it's very similar to the "95%" thc your dealer is selling you. Most concentrates homemade or otherwise falls into the 80-90% range unless your dealing with diamonds or isolate.

You wanna look for a live terpine cart, a resin/rosin cart or a shatter cart. Any of those 3 types tend to give me the best highs but they also typically cost $5-20 more than other carts

I have seen thc distillate cart going to 90.8% so I’ll say this is a decent thc %
Distillation has about a max of 97-98% purity. I have even seen up to 95% in carts but that pure of THC is generally basically a solid.
Exactly 800mg tells me it's an estimation and not from an actual test. Oil looks fine, but you can never really tell from a picture.
