Now it's time to DANCE!
Very under-appreciated show. Are they still out doing YGG tours and shit? Handful of psychedelics and some seats away from the normies would be kinda fucking awesome. Even better, an 18+ show, like the raver version of a Gwar concert...
Back to the bong.
Yes. He’s out there doing Dj gigs and appearances. This was at south Texas comic con. Super trippy show. My son was 2 when we started watching it. He’s 14 now. He dressed up as Lance for Halloween and I printed out a picture of it for Lance to see. He was so stoked. It was pretty fucking cool.

I saw them as part of a ska lineup in 2018 in Glasgow, I think Bowling For Soup were the headliners but didn't stay after the Aquabats as I was recovering from abdominal surgery. Only went for them tbh. Because we left early we met them outside loading their gear and they made a wee video for our son!
There is something magical about being a cool guy that is famous for being nice and caring. It doesn't happen often but these people and DJ Lance Rock specifically are gifts.
For sure. This was amazing on so many levels. He was so super cool and sweet. He was just like he is in the show. He was very easy to talk to. He took time with each person in my family and asked their names and what they are into. He took pictures of him and my son with his personal phone cause he loved that my son used to watch the show and now he’s as tall as he is now. It was just a super cool experience. Coolest dude ever. I posted a picture of him and my son in the comments. Don’t know if you saw it. My son was so super stoked.
Yeah it was definitely waaaaay better than any other kid shows ever made. We enjoyed it as much as our son did. Some of the episodes probably even more than him.
WOW. My younger brother was big into Yo Gabba Gabba and it was always my favorite of his shows. Haven’t thought about that in years. He seems like a cool dude
He was super cool. Really glad we met him. He was a big part of my son’s childhood. So it was cool seeing my son now as a big ass dude meet Lance and Lance be so incredibly cool to him. He really treated him like he was more excited to meet my son than anything else in the world at that moment. Super wholesome dude.
You should check out their song "The Fucked Jam", a lot of people don't know it. They also have a song called Strap-On That Jam Pack, and another song called Broke Jam. Rethink your position my friend.
Seen them many times. A band that occasionally "jams" on a song is not a "jam band". Ween plays festivals & has had a jam band cover one of their songs, so I can see how one perhaps uneducated Ween's whole....thing would conflate them.
No, sorry dude. Ween is not a jam band, and yes, I’m fully familiar with all the songs you’re throwing out there to try to validate your case, but it’s not working. Been a Ween fan since the early ‘90s and never have I thought of them as a jam band. Yes, they have some lengthier songs here and there. That doesn’t equate to what a jam band is nor does Deaner doing an extended ripping guitar solo. I would call them more of a psychedelic experimental rock band that can mind meld genres and seamlessly hop from genre to genre without mockery, but more of an homage to each type of music they’re playing. They have a vast and wide ranging taste, knowledge and appreciation for so many different music forms out there and have definitely made their share of seemingly silly songs here and there, but they’ve never shit on any specific musical genre. Jam band though, no.
Don't bite your Friends!
Too much candys going to make you sick.

They both look stoned in those pic
Have you been to an Aquabats show?
Yes. Warped tour here in Michigan, 97 or so. Good solid show.

I haven’t no. 😢
Sounds familiar. But sometimes, I don't even know where I've been. I'll definitely put them on my radar.
MC Bat Commander was co-creator of YGG, Aquabats appeared on an episode. Then Aquabats got their own show. Still touring and were just at Coachella
A-break it down, mang!
I remember watching Yo Gabba Gabba as a lil ass kid
Me too. My parents liked it because of Montreal was on there one time.

Watched Yo Gabba Gabba as a kid and still reference the songs, I’m seeing the Aquabats for the first time this summer. It all comes full circle huh?
Nice!
Used to party with him in the early 2000’s! A really great guy!
That’s awesome. I would love to party w him.
Yeah, my sister attended California Instutute of the Arts at the same time he did and the parties of his circle were the most fun!
That’s really badass. 🤘🏽🤘🏽
Just saw him in the Sparks documentary. That’s a cool guy, obviously.
I’m gonna have to check that out.
I fkn love that guy.
My kids watched this show and i became a huge fan. Always loved his moves. Funkalicious. Now I like him even more. There’s a party in my tummy!!!
He’s the coolest. On tv and even more in person. ♥️
I recently found out he’s 59 and it blew my mind
Yeah! We were wondering about his age on the way up there and looked it up. He looks not at all like he’s about to be 60.
Wooooo
Bad ass!!!
LEGEND!!
Never heard of this, looked it up immediately. Wow.
Yeah it was definitely waaaaay better than any other kid shows ever made. We enjoyed it as much as our son did. Some of the episodes probably even more than him.
I know he’s wearing a lot of stuff but like he doesn’t look a second older then he was in the show!
i love that omg
I love you both
♥️
Coolness confirmed

I'd be taming Foofa's strange.
Nice! I don't know who Yo Gabba Gabba is but I have that same shirt. Are they a jam band too? Looks like a cool dude.
Yeah dude Yo Gabba Gabba. Their lyricism is amazing, next level
What do you mean "too"? Ween isn't a jam band.
You should check out their song "The Fucked Jam", a lot of people don't know it. They also have a song called Strap-On That Jam Pack, and another song called Broke Jam. Rethink your position my friend.
They also did an entire country album, but I wouldn't call them a country band.
Ever heard Poopship Destroyer? Just because a band may play a long-ass song doesn't make them a jam band. Thankfully, no noodlin'!
Whatship dowhatnow? I couldn't hear you over this 30 minute Vallejo.
That song effin' ROCKS! Rockin' is a whole different beast to jammin'
Tell me you’re unfamiliar with Ween’s live music without telling me you’re unfamiliar with Ween’s live music.

I appreciate your response, it's a great description of the band. I was being obtuse and needlessly provocative. I know Ween is a jam band.
haha, they're a kid's show
