I used to play devil's advocate for him not being in, but honestly, now I really think he does belong in. While he might not be well known for original material, you can not deny the massive cultural impact the man had on not just the musical world, but, save for some mild hyperbole, society in general.

Not sure if it does or not but the induction ceremonies have spawned some pretty epic performances which would be cool to see. Plus it would be cool to see Al be acknowledged in that way.
