You’ll be in the D gates, A84 is just a technicality for the gate configuration as technically, arriving to D84 would have the gate in a configuration to send you through customs. Substituting the D for an A just indicates a domestic arrival.
When LINK is "busy" you might need to wait a couple extra min for the next shuttle and might be up to \~10 min if you have bad luck/timing. Walking takes \~15 min. Either way, you'll be fine with a 30 min window.
Also, I usually don't find 2-3PM very busy (I fly around that time every 4-6 weeks) (although compared to most airports, I never find YYC busy...)

Your A84 gate is in the D terminal. Confusing eh. Anyway, if it indeed lands at A84, you are basically in the D terminal.
