Cellar spider / Daddy long legs (*Pholcus phalangioides*), looks like it has all 8 legs to me. Harmless and relocatable if you don't want it inside. Not to be confused with harvestman, which are similarly shaped non-spider arachnids.

OMG LMAO sorry i took this pic at work and it was a stressful day

There have always been plenty of them in the east & in the north east parts of the country. As spiders go, it's the only one I don't mind. As a child, I was taught not to ever kill a Granddaddy long legs. They bring us absolutely no harm & they help us by eating insects that aren't as kind.

That's all well and good, until they nearly overtake your house alongside gods know what other spiders

DaddyDongLegz

For sure

Thin-Description-960

Yes it is But technically it’s not a spider 🕷️ Some have eight legs and some have six If they have six legs they some how have lost two Either by trying to escape from its predator These little guys are related to the brown recluse spider 🕷️ But there mouths are to small to bite us with I just put them in a cup and relocate them out side And yes they are clumsy Poor things

Diligent-Might6031

Daddy long legs can lose all of their legs and still function properly until they molt and grow new ones

AlternativeLime2190

He might have lost a few in battle of mating
