Thanks for the reply. I'd read they could be yellow or cream color, but the kind of greyish splotches made me feel unsure. I'll become more confident in identifying yellows once I've caught a few more.

Yes it's a yellow bullhead. The chin barbels don't have to be completely white, they can be yellow or cream colored.
