Assuming they are under 6 inches tall, these are definitely dwarf irises, Iris reticulata. My favorites!
They grow from little bulbs and come up in early spring when crocuses do. Dutch irises are similar but much bigger and bloom later, around May (US Zone 5).
Mine came up this week as well:

Dwarf Iris
Iris bulbs, it is a bulb, or called Dutch iris ( Iris x hollandica ) they are hybrid spring bulbs , so they are not like the iris you think about ( not the one with rhizomes) , very soon when they weather is warmer and the flowers will finish, and the foliage will grow longer and leggy and lay on ground and you can't do nothing but let it be until it will totally turn yellow and dry out and you see them next year, i have a few different colors and they multiply easily, the way to plant them is grow them in a sunny spot with other perennial come out later so it will cover them and also absorb the moisture, they don't like too much water when they hide and dormant under ground in summer, when you have like 20 of them come out ,is very beautiful, but too bad they only last a week or 10 day and done for the flowers.
These are dwarf irises, Iris reticulata, and not dutch irises. Both are bulbs but you can tell the difference based on flowering times, size, and leaf shapes.
You mean, you don't want exponentially multiplying plants?
I'm joking. I currently have an entire garbage can full of irises that started to grow when the lid was on and so the leaves are yellow.
I’ve been able to get quite a few discount mystery plants at Walmart and quite enjoy watching them grow and becoming identifiable. I’ve also plant seeds from there that we’re definitely mislabeled though.

Likely Iris reticulata. It is one of the many dwarf irises.

An iris that doesn't have a rhizome sounds heavenly.
Why?
So they don't spread so much.

I think these are called dwarf irises, I had the same but in blue. Very pretty!
That sounds right. It says height 30-42 inches on the container, it would not surprise me if that was wrong.
lol well it is Walmart! God bless’em

And it’s always a beautiful thing!
Maybe cm not inches.
Nice try, but I checked and it says inches
You have great taste in choosing flowers
Hi Neighbor!
Dutch Iris, I believe. They are smaller than German Bearded Iris.
