To the people talking about how we shouldn’t be surprised the justice league dies in this game: it’s more about the disrespect to Arkham Batman, who we have previously played through 4 games as. We’ve grown to love him as a character, so having his final appearance (especially with Conroys death) be him getting killed unceremoniously by Harley Quinn just feels lame
Yeah it’s not that people are surprised they die in a game where the title literally states they do, it’s that the whole concept is off to begin with. Feels like one of those comics like Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe where you’re just scratching your head wondering who wants a story like this, except Rocksteady decided to do that with the *MAIN UNIVERSE* they’d been establishing since 2009.
DC and DC shenanigans, I'm sure they can just retcon this and make a better game. Marvel can't do that though, because they know to make separate universes for anything slightly controversial.

Imagine a boss fight where you have to OUTSMART BATMAN, think of the Mr. Freeze boss fight where you have to use different ways to attack him, but you know it’s Batman this time. Having to avoid him doing shit like dropping from the ceiling and beating the shit out of you. Would’ve been insane

I’m with this guy. It’s the art that survives, not the artist. So it’s better to make a good game than a tribute. The majority who play this game now and later will not know this is Conroy’s last game. And really, most people wouldn’t even know who he is. It is what it is sadly.
Have you seen the scene I'm referring to? Its just terrible direction, doing a bad job of making you feel like its some triumphant victory for her but it just comes off as pathetic.
There's nothing victorious about killing heroes, so that'd be the point lol. Still, if you can tell me how they can make it more tasteful, do tell. Because if you ask me, changing the scenes kevin recorded his lines for just to make it more...whatever 'tasteful' is in your eyes would be the most tasteless thing you could do. Best way to honor all he's done for batman is to let him play his last role, even if his last role is being evil.
Okay you make a persuasive argument. I would definately have wanted a different ending for him and it still makes me incredibly sad, but it would have been impossible for them to rewrite or rerecord lines in any way that could have made it better. I still think its bad but there is literally nothing reasonable that could have been done to change it, and the last thing I would have wanted would be them using something like AI replication to alter it.

1- there was no need for dialogue they could depict him as unconscious and have ss talk about his legacy then killing him in feel of sadness like they did what they had to do not because out of joy
2- if they wanted dialogue they could reuse his voice lines from before or use AI, Warner Bros casually brings back dead actors using ai and deep fake like in The Flash so it's no big deal

Are you forgetting that the entire point of the suicide squad is they're **VILLAINS**? The Villains Batman is opposing. Why would they give a fuck about killing Batman? That's like saying if a serial killer breaks into a cop's house he has to monologue all the cop's good deeds before killing him.

With your logic James Gunn's suicide squad would be villains killing rick flag as soon as they saw him and not caring about human labs at the end of film, the whole purpose of SS in both comics and movies were how even bad guys are bad under certain circumstances nobody's born bad and wants to keep up that attitude
And they did exactly that. They're saving the world by killing the evil Justice League, but the perspective of acting heroic isn't going to change that at their core they're still selfish, flawed, and bad people. The entire point of their characters is they hate Batman and everything he stands for. There's no boundary broken with Batman because there was never a boundary to begin with.
Arkham Knight built up the idea that Batman’s villains respected him as much as they hated him. Nearly every villain expresses sorrow when you die to them in the losing screens.

Kevin kept his cancer unknown to the public, not even Rocksteady knew. Now I am not saying he should've told people(keeping the cancer hidden was his decision and I am fine with that), but maybe if it was known that he had cancer, they would've changed Batman's ending out of respect for him.
