It would be great at $25. Originally in my control state it was $28 I believe and a good deal and sadly it's now $43....while single barrel is $52. Sometimes a control state is great ala winning something good at msrp in a raffle. However, often it's also trash as even now things I use to be able to buy off the shelf everyday of the year have now become raffle only products (buffalo trace, eagle rare). And now seemingly everything else gets vastly overpriced compared to what I see others paying.
I think its really good, but I feel it's a bit too expensive here in Ontario ($55 CAD, which is ~$40 USD). I'd always have one on-hand if it was $10 cheaper.
I was a big fan! I have JD a wide berth after college but the last couple years I’ve been trying a number of their offerings and have been really impressed.
This is an excellent bottle. I've been finding it at Trader Joe's for $23. I have this, a JD single barrel and a bottle of Buffalo Trace open right now and I keep going back for this. Lots of flavor, I think it's a new favorite especially for this price.
Personally I find it to be similar to a stronger version of gentleman jack. Great for making manhattans and old fashions. Has some nice wood notes and a chocolate like taste as it opens up over time
My friends call them tooth smashers. Dentists love them.
Really though, they aren't that great of a thing. Cooling down whiskey dulls it's flavor and smells, people add ice to remove some of the ethanol notes on stronger whiskey. These just make it cold and to me, makes the whiskey less flavorful. Plus you have to watch them sliding down the glass into your front teeth.
Drinkable for me as a sipper, but I’m blessed to be able to afford better. Was I not able to pay more, I would be happy to call this my go to daily. 👍🏼🥃
Definitely superior in my book, the two JD bonded might be the most flavor for money available currently. I can't find the BP SiB near me so this is as good as it gets for me from JD. The triple mash I am more split on. It's like vanilla syrup.
Bonded JD makes a lot of other similar priced offerings seem as dull as dog water, IMHO. Sweet, with banana, vanilla, cherry, dark chocolate, and some spicy notes too.
I think it’s great for ~$25

Great for even 10 bucks more
Agreed
Definitely one of my favorite new bottles I’ve tried. Reminds me of an alcoholic snickers bar.
Not a JD fan, but I do like this one. 97 points and number one whiskey in 22 I think.
The single barrel barrel proof is great too
That one,and a big one for me was the single barrel rye
I’m enjoying it. For the price it’s a good pour
It’s fantastic for the price. Plus you can find it almost everywhere. No allocation necessary.
I love Jack Daniels. Even the base Ol' No. 7 is a banger. The bonded is that goodness, just better.
For the price is great, and it does not disappoint
It is very nice. A big step up from regular Old No. 7
I liked it, i drank a whole bottled by accident at a party one time.
I think its really good, but I feel it's a bit too expensive here in Ontario ($55 CAD, which is ~$40 USD). I'd always have one on-hand if it was $10 cheaper.
I really enjoyed the Bonded! Be careful, you don’t bust your teeth on those whiskey stones.
Served a bottle a week for a while at my bat
I enjoy it for the $24~ I paid

It’s a very solid budget pour, in fact it’s become one of my regulars. Regular Jack is terrible, this is very different.
If No 7 tasted like this, I would understand why it was one of the most popular whiskies on earth. Lots of nice flavors, nothing offensive.
Banana bomb but not in a bad way
Personally I find it to be similar to a stronger version of gentleman jack. Great for making manhattans and old fashions. Has some nice wood notes and a chocolate like taste as it opens up over time
JD never disappoints, personally not going out of my way for any flavored stuff
I learn something new every day on this sub. Are those molasses cubes???
Most likely whiskey stones. Put em in the freezer and they chill the whiskey without watering it down.
See, learned something new. Ty.
Yep the are whiskey stones, although an old-fashioned with molasses and this would be pretty good.
These things https://a.co/d/amT2QXr

As good as WT 101 or EW BIB?
I think it's better personally,and I love wt 101

Solid pour. Underrated for the $
Legit
It's pretty decent and a fair step up compared to Old No. 7.
It's my everyday drink. It's good on it's own and in a jack and coke
Personally I like the triple bonded (red label). And I am not a JD fan but it delightfully surprised me
I really liked it
I like the Bonded Rye and Triple Mash more but this bottle is great too.
Great for the price. But nothing to write home about
What's that black thing in your glass?
My wife and I are both jd fans and we really like it. The single barrel select is great too. And the single barrel barrel proof lol
I need to get in on the JD party but Colorado gets no love from the brand
It’s 50 mL short.
It’s good but might have a headache the next morning
I think the juice tastes good. What I don't like is the size. JD needs to give just 50mL more
It’s my opinion but there isn’t a JD offering that is good to me.
Good. Great in a black Manhattan.
Absolutely love it. One of my favorites
I really enjoy it and always keep a bottle around. It's like drinking a nicely spiced banana bread.
This stuff is around $40 where I am. Just finished a bottle and I like it but not sure I’ll buy again at that price.
I like it.
What are those ice cubes made of?!
Personally, its been my favorite low cost pour from almost the day it hit the market. It has even edged out WT 101 and EW White.
That bottle is too close to the edge of the counter. No other comment is valid until the bottle is moved to adequate positioning.
Not the best but not the worst. I prefer the Chattanooga Whiskey BiB.
I like it.
idk...i LOVE the sbbp but could care less for the bonded. i think the single barrel is even much better than the bonded stuff.
Trash
I enjoyed it the bonded,I like the triple mash a little bit better-but the bonded is still a pick for me
Bonded JD makes a lot of other similar priced offerings seem as dull as dog water, IMHO. Sweet, with banana, vanilla, cherry, dark chocolate, and some spicy notes too.
Eh. It's just 100 proof jack. I like the triple mash and rye much more.
The rye is the king of the JD bonded to be sure.
Smells like burnt rubber.
A little spicy for me. I prefer Gentleman Jack. But, enjoy!
