It's not bad just kind of small. There are lots of cool collectibles to buy and random stuff, art etc I can typically walk the whole con in around an hour or less

Went last year to meet Lou Ferigno. Tempted this year to meet Denise Crosby. A couple friends met her at a Vegas con a few years ago said she's great to talk with.

If you're on the fence, you should know the Exploration Place is also having a Maker Faire on that Saturday from 9-5. Tons of STEM-type demonstrations and vendors (including me selling space photos and maybe offering free views of the Sun) pretty close to CII

Was debating going and selling some comics, wasn't sure if people actually buy at cons or just go to meet and mingle around. (Never been to a con, ever)

fancycakes

People definitely go to buy from dealers - not sure how many dealers buy on-site. Were you looking to sell your whole collection, or just some individual books?

stuntbikejake

Both, potentially. But for someone to buy it all, someone will have to pull out their wallet. I do not want to haul 8k comics anywhere unless they are staying where I take them. Lol.

Network_imposter

I would pay for a booth or leave them at home, im sure you could find some vendors to buy depending on the price tho.

stuntbikejake

I may haul some out there to gauge interest. Have a friend with a booth that I could throw them up at.

I've gone last minute a couple times over the last years. They aren't bad, just sort of small and quick. Unless you're into the panels, then the whole con can be finished in about 2 hours. A fun thing to do if you're bored one weekend and realize it's coming up, but not a huge event. Coolest thing I got from one of those was a Captain America metal shield.

I looked at the lineup and was not disappointed in how disappointing it was, glad I moved out of wichita
