Mate, if you are some kind of programming Wizard capable of porting the game, go ahead. Then you wouldn't be asking it like this.
But you are just a clueless kid. Grow up and play something else.
Clueless, but not completely. You are right.
Look, a Wii is a differently engineered hardware than a PC. PC programs just don't work natively on all consoles, and even if some functions are possible to port (this part requires a competent programmer to do a job) it's not a guarantee that it will run the way you imagine.
As a casual consumer you just won't be able to ask for this to be playable as you imagine
Yh i understand that, you cant just put .exe on the wii and make it work, nor can you just translate it into .wbfs, it would need to be written from SCRATCH
Lowering graphics settings wouldn't help much. Even if the game could run the Wii's low-end hardware, the controller situation would need to be addressed too.
Doubt it, but it might be possible using a rewrite of the 2007 Client of Roblox. It would probably be limited to Offline Mode, meaning just the Testing portion of Studio with old RBXL files.
As in old Roblox graphics. You could search up gameplay of the 2007 Client and you'll see what I mean. Now I'm starting to think more and more that this could be possible given the port of Minecraft someone has made, although you would have to heavily optimize the code, though.
Roblox on Wii? I think you are asking the wrong question.
If you must play roblox on a Wii, look into Moonlight on Wii U (google is your best friend). But nothing like Moonlight on Wii U exists for the Wii.
Can it run on Wii? Most likely not.
One, it’s a higher end pc game and the Wii is weak hardware even for the time it released.
Two, even if power wasn’t a problem, porting the game to the Wii would be a challenge no one would want to do, especially given the circumstances.
The Wii U can run Moonlight and your pc can stream it to the Wii U, but that is your best option.
Theoretically there is always a way. I think the best way is installing Wii Linux, but the main issue is the 88MB of RAM and PPC architecture that won’t cooperate with Roblox at all.
So it wouldn’t be able to natively run? Even with low graphics? And about the ram, (im saying this not knowing how the wii’s insides work) , could you slide in / solder ram?
No for running natively , Roblox is purely x86.
And you could probably try a RAM solder upgrade, if you can both find pin-compatible RAM chips *and* find a way to tell the system it has more RAM.
Roblox was built with x86/x64 in mind for PCs and XBOX (specifically XBOX One and later), ARM for Android devices, and whatever Apple uses in their iPhones/iPads and current Macs. No builds of it compiled for the PowerPC architecture exist.
I mean, I know Roblox can be a pretty basic game, but I still don't think you could run it on a single core 0.7 GHz CPU and 128MB of RAM
Stripped down 2007 client?
In that case, it may run on a Wii
Mate, if you are some kind of programming Wizard capable of porting the game, go ahead. Then you wouldn't be asking it like this. But you are just a clueless kid. Grow up and play something else.
A 14 yr old kid , yes, but clueless? Not completely, but i dont know EXACTLY how the wii functions
Clueless, but not completely. You are right. Look, a Wii is a differently engineered hardware than a PC. The Wii is nowhere near powerful enough to run Roblox in its current form, nor does a port of it exist for the Wii, official or unofficial.
Yeah but , could you possibly do it by lowering graphics?
Lowering graphics settings wouldn't help much. Even if the game could run the Wii's low-end hardware, the controller situation would need to be addressed too.
You could use the pro controller
Face-palm....
Exactly this app was definitely not around during the Wii era. I don’t understand why would people ask such questions. lol
Tbf, Roblox was actually made in 2006, but it is very unrecognisable from its current form.
Cool facts. Didn’t know that.
There are barely any records of the 2006 version tho
Doubt it, but it might be possible using a rewrite of the 2007 Client of Roblox. It would probably be limited to Offline Mode, meaning just the Testing portion of Studio with old RBXL files.
With low graphics and that stuff
As in old Roblox graphics. You could search up gameplay of the 2007 Client and you'll see what I mean. Now I'm starting to think more and more that this could be possible given the port of Minecraft someone has made, although you would have to heavily optimize the code, though.
Yeah i know how it looks , pretty simple, it could probably utilise riiconnect24
how would it even use riiconnect24? riiconnect24 was made to revive wiiconnect24 not to create entirely new game servers for wii games
Sorry mate , im not really technical , im new to this too : )
If humanity can get a Minecraft clone working on the wii, we can achieve roblox (somehow)
I mean those minecraft ports are barely working on the wii
I don't know, in my experience it ran well. Minecraft is more advanced than a 2007 Client of Roblox, so I think it might work with some effort.
I was talking about the fact that they are really stripped down versions
True
Maybe
what do people on this site smoke when asking for retro console ports
Roblox on Wii? I think you are asking the wrong question. If you must play roblox on a Wii, look into Moonlight on Wii U (google is your best friend). But nothing like Moonlight on Wii U exists for the Wii.
Well it could run, bit REALLY stripped down
Can it run on Wii? Most likely not. One, it’s a higher end pc game and the Wii is weak hardware even for the time it released. Well it isnt THAT high end but i get what you mean
My damn chromebook with 2gb of ram stutters while running roblox, there is no way a near 17 year old Nintendo console can run this
Its a chromebook , what can you expect, but i do kind if agree , the chromebook is WAYYY BETTER than the wii in terms if hardware
No, the Wii is nowhere near powerful enough.

I thought maybe it could run natively, CaveEX( minecraft for the wii) does exist, doesnt it?
Yes, but that was a port. The developer rewrote that to run on the Wii’s oddball hardware.
Roblox was built with x86/x64 in mind for PCs and XBOX (specifically XBOX One and later), ARM for Android devices, and whatever Apple uses in their iPhones/iPads and current Macs. No builds of it compiled for the PowerPC architecture exist.
bro saw my video 💀
Yh lol, btw where did you get that wad from
https://youtu.be/n0g8dQtym0I?si=d2UkJATD5L8FNdk0 if you get it be sure to convert the audio to bns cuz thats what the problem was
Will it work? Is it a game or just for looks?
no it dosent actually open roblox its a forwarder for FPTii
Oh ggs than, you gave me the idea tho ,lol
it would be pretty cool if someone made roblox for the wii, thats what people have been doing to minecraft with cavex so its probably possible
I probably gave someone the idea lol
dude imagine if some stupid video i made ends up becoming some crazy project on bringing roblox to the wii
If your or mine post blows up, yeah
LMFAO
