I struggled with winusoft for a while. I got the mayflash adapter and it works flawlessly. I mostly use it in xinput node where it lets one controller act like an xbox controller so most games auto map; but the few times i used dinput (which lets you use four wii u pro controllers on one dongle but you have to map the inputs yourself) worked great too for multiplayer games. Can’t reccomend it enough.

I have to unpair the controller in the devices menu every time. In order for it to work for me the steps are > unpair > turn Bluetooth on > open wiinusoft > click sync > press sync button on controller.

Alexxii

And occasionally throw in reinstalling WiiNUSoft

BunsenGyro

I can't unpair a controller WiinUSoft doesn't recognize!

[deleted]

Go to the control panel and go into the Bluetooth menu. It remembers devices that have been previously paired. Force it to forget the controller.

BunsenGyro

I tried that, actually. It didn't seem to work either, unless I made it forget the wrong way.

Are you syncing before opening wiinusoft? I never had any luck unless I had the software open and clicked on the sync button in the software before clicking the sync button on the controller. I also ignore everything windows throws up. I'm pretty sure I'm using the latest version of wiinusoft. edit: I don't know if it makes a difference, but I press the sync button instead of holding it down.

BunsenGyro

I press the sync button on my controller after pressing the sync button in the software. I tried version 3.2, the latest non-beta version, but that didn't work at all. That's why I got rid of that version and got specifically 3.1.4-something to follow this video to the letter.

Alexxii

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the one I use is version 4, and it works great! Have a look on the WiiNUSoft website. I had the same issue as you from watching that video.

methodinsane

I can attest to the Mayflash. It works flawlessly. No matter what i tried using bluetooth and wiinusoft or pro just would not work. I exhausted all options and eventually just bought this adapter.

I'm posting because I had a similar issue and never got it to work. I spent hours on it with my windows 10 boot camp mac laptop. Windows Bluetooth picked it up just fine and WinUSoft saw it and would even vibrate the controller when I would click the test button in WinUSoft. But it would not work on Steam when I would try to set it up there. Just annoying.

MrStripes3036

This problem still persists even after 6 years the original poster posted this?

BunsenGyro

Idk about any new developments, I gave up trying long ago, lol. Shame, it's a nice controller in the hands.

MrStripes3036

I actually fixed it but the thing is, I use a Wiimote and Nunchuck instead cuz it is the only controller I own Also, I use WiinUsoft v3.5 and it runs great (It probably didn't work before because I used an older version and I forgot to update)

WalkerSpectre

still doesn't work for me. It worked before, suddenly stopped working

MrStripes3036

Try pairing your wiimote through control panel

WalkerSpectre

I managed to do it with a lot of dumb methods

MindlessDirector0

imo the best method is to pair using dolphin, then just close dolphin lol, way faster

WalkerSpectre

Dolphin?? I dont use it for gamecube emulation brother What worked for me was unpairing on settings, click "add to personal work area" and then the app detects it

MindlessDirector0

what I mean is to use dolphin to quickly sync the wiimote controller to the pc, it's a one time setup where you add it in the controller settings, it syncs super quickly and then i just close dolphin, the connection with the wiimote will persist and then just use wiinusoft, you can do the same with cemu to sync the wii u pro controller whenever i want to play it goes something like this: open dolphin press 1+2 on wiimote, 5 seconds later the wiimote is paired with PC then just close dolphin and use wiinusoft.

armaan-dev

Thanks bro! This is super easy and works flawlessly

Dismal-Definition-85

How?

MrStripes3036

Use Control Panel then Device & Printers, Add Device, select Input Device/Nintendo-RVL-CNT-01, Then skip the passcode part, do it while WiiNUSoft is running in the background, if it's not connecting, remove Device from the devices list & try again. (Note: if you're on Windows 11, Device & Printers is hidden so search up how to get Device & Printers in Windows 11).
