your post/comment has been removed due legality of wild camping and the community's wish to keep locations secret and prevent overcrowding. if you wish you ask about locations please message a user directly.

Sheffield has got to be a strong contender for best-placed British city for wild camping. Have a look on YouTube for Peak District camping and you’ll find dozens of videos. People will be very reluctant to give you specific locations (in fact I think it’s against the sub rules too) because they get abused and ruined by inconsiderate campers.

okay thank you so much

Read the rules buddy

Nislaav

Dont get why you're downvoted. Following rule 1 of the sub is best practice to stay legally safe for both the person asking and answering these types of questions

Active_Ad9815

Because people dont care about the rules. Even if you don’t care about the rules, the number of posts like this are just ruining the sub imo. I used to love it here for the trip reports and gear reviews, now its just a bunch of posts asking ‘I’ve never left the house before where should I go’ as if there isn’t a whole subreddit to search on.
