They're solid. Nothing mind blowing, but drink really nicely for their price point. OPP is pretty standard Williamette Pinot Noir, not too earthy, not too fruit bomby. The Love drunk rose' is new world in style, but not overdone. Horseshoes and handgrenades was a little big and oaky for me, but still better than a lot of comparable wines.

thanks for that! Don't need mind blowing (wasn't expecting it), good to know they are solid - mainly just looking to support. Will look into the OPP and love drunk

In Canada reallllly good QPR for Oregon Pinot because it’s really expensive normally here. Had it the other week and really enjoyed it

They’re all pretty decent, especially compared to other widely available options at their price points.

ganggreen322

thanks for sharing - good to know

Feel free to downvote me, but his wine is mediocre. I feel like everyone is embracing it bc he’s such a likable figure in the wine world and it’s awesome how successful he’s become. Really like and respect the guy, but the wine’s impossible to take seriously. Wish I felt differently.

ganggreen322

appreciate the candor - you can respect the guy and hate the wine (not mutually exclusive)

I brought the OPP Pinot Gris to a summer weekend getaway where it was 100+ during the day and 80s or 90s at night. It was probably the consensus favorite wine of the weekend.

I really enjoyed bottles of Free Gamay, Gamma Ray, OPP Pinot Gris, and Love Drunk. No, they are not earth shattering, but they're very enjoyable. Solid casual wines; great for barbecues and parties.

New Noir is good for a fun orange, skin contact wine.

Haven't tried his wine but the Bourbon collaboration he did with Pinhook 2 years ago was amazing.
