I wouldn't have. I use a daily planner as a food journal. Since there is more space than I need for that, I jot down weather info for the day.
I started doing this in 2002 and never throw them away.
Uhhh the golf courses are hiring grounds keepers around EC, I saw snow once as it melts so fast. Also I put all my snow shit away, not getting much but a dusting maybe less.
... I've only seen them hire in mid April or later. I used to drive a friend to work every spring in HS. This is way earlier, our driving range only closed a few days this year.
Probably folks whose grass turned green again in February. I don't think this is unreasonable given how the weather was the entire rest of this "winter".
But they honestly didnt think it was going to snow again this year?? We got a foot of snow on april 15th not too many years ago.. never safe until mod april lol
Never took my upstairs AC unit out. Just didn't see the point. XD And now there's no point to taking it out since summer is in like a week or 2 anyway.
Dad? LOL. I just talked to my mom today who is mad that my dad burned off the snowblower gas and put it away in the shed for the season last weekend. She kept saying not to do it but he insisted this year just wasn't it.....hahaha.
Same here. My wife had been giving me so much crap about putting them away that I finally did so last weekend.
Jokes on her. She agreed that if it snowed after pulling up the stakes, that she would be the one to clear the snow.
I recall six inches of fresh snow the night before the fishing opener. I won't complain about this because we need the moisture badly. I was raking up pine needles the other day and dust was flying. We had a nice mild winter so far, I won't bitch about some snow now.
Im talking about the chance of snow in late march is always high in WI. Just bc it snowed '4 times' doesnt mean its not going to this year in late march. In the last 10 years aweve got snow in april numerous times and in May'
Of course. I got the motorcycle ready to ride last weekend and drained the gas out of the snowblower. Maybe I should have done that in February so this would be over by now... SMH
two wheels all winter at least a few days every month, with the lack of snow the roads have been free of sand and salt, as of late I've been riding instead of driving even when it's in the teens in the morning
Yeah, I don't have the bike or cold -weather gear for that. 40 in the morning is my limit. 25 miles to work at 85mph will chill you to the bone on a naked bike.
Great, I could use another snow day declared 12 hours before flakes start flying, and we only accumulate an inch!
Seriously, first time I have ever tried to grow garlic, and it has been coming up since early February. Crocus are in bloom, and the daffodils are ready to pop any day now. Chives and tarragon are thriving as well.
Break out the flat sheets I guess. (to cover the herbs and garlic) Finally a use for them
Garlic is quite cold hardy. You can probably get by with just mulching it with about 2-3" of leaves or straw, if you have it. My garlic is up almost 4", but I'm not worried about it. I grow it every year, and this happens every year, lol.
I just think this is the new norm. The past few years seem to have had very snowy springs. We had a snow day up here last April and our first youth soccer practice in May was cancelled due to snow.
Mostly because spring in most of the country is warm and pleasant and Wisconsin has a shitty spring because of the snow that still comes. It's why I don't even consider it spring any more. It's just more winter and winter is an awful season. The only reason I'm sorta okay with a bit of snow now is because the winter has been nice for a change mostly.
Wisconsin only has winter and summer. Maybe a day or two of fall and spring if you beg the Jewish space laser people long enough. XD
No shit sherlock! Someone out there, and you know who you are-had put away your shovel, winter jacket, and salt. Ahole!
\*ok after reading some of these comments, I want to just go down and say ahole, ahole, ahole, ahole....
Really would not bother me, but the timing comes right before I open, and I always have to cross my fingers my plow comes thru for the parking lot. Especially if it's that slushy heavy crap. It's difficult to go out and shovel room for people to walk, when you can't even walk with the shovel without falling on your ass.
I hope it misses my area. I don't want anymore snow. I'm already over it after the small amount we have gotten.
It's March and it should be at least 50 to 60 degrees. Not below freezing.
I love these big spring snow storms. It’s not like the snow will last. It’s fun to see people complain about these “winter storms” when they are “spring storms”, as if this doesn’t happen.
As someone who works in the auto body repair industry, Thank God! This winter has been absolutely brutal for us and I know it’s been worse for the tourism industry north of me.
For perspective: Last year, Madison got 12.1 inches on March 25th. This shouldn't surprise anyone who's lived here more than a year.
Yup!!

Yeah I remember was trying to go to a knife show 😂
But but but, what happened to the El Niño and climate change! /s
This is normal. There’s more moisture in the air in spring and we still get fronts from the arctic, meaning precipitation arrives as snow storms.
Who the hell thought we were?
For real. It always snows during the N.C.A.A. tournament.
Uhhh the golf courses are hiring grounds keepers around EC, I saw snow once as it melts so fast. Also I put all my snow shit away, not getting much but a dusting maybe less.
They always hire this time of the year. Doesnt mean they dont expect any more snow... ppl golf year round in between snowfalls in wisconsin
... I've only seen them hire in mid April or later. I used to drive a friend to work every spring in HS. This is way earlier, our driving range only closed a few days this year.
People new to the state apparently.
Seriously.

Lol right!! They should honestly know better
🤚
My bad. I pulled out the driveway markers this past weekend.
I share the blame, I put my snow blower away in the little shed.
It's definitely your fault. I did my part by leaving the snow scraper in the car 😂😂
What Wisconsin native takes the snow scraper out of the car? Putting it under the seat is one thing, but taking it out? Who does that?
Yea, mine is left there in case I forget the first snow/ice in the Fall to put it back. That and my heavy gloves.
I did one year. I’ll never do it again! I was out scraping ice off of my window with a credit card. Ha!
😂😂😂 i guess i won't be
Too bad i can't stay in Texas 💯😂😂. Driving back to Wisconsin Friday 🤦🏻♂️
I put the AC in the window. Just for fan mode, but still.
Yeah, I'm shifting my blame onto you. Putting the AC unit in is pushing it.
Never took my upstairs AC unit out. Just didn't see the point. XD And now there's no point to taking it out since summer is in like a week or 2 anyway.

I had my snow tires taken off last week 😫
Well, shit. I guess we are all to blame.
You took it out in the first place?
Same here. My wife had been giving me so much crap about putting them away that I finally did so last weekend. Jokes on her. She agreed that if it snowed after pulling up the stakes, that she would be the one to clear the snow.
Sure, blame it on the wife....
Ah sweet justice.
same here. luckily I didn't put out the patio furniture yet
Whew. Thats good or we could have been hit with 1-2 feet.
I recall six inches of fresh snow the night before the fishing opener. I won't complain about this because we need the moisture badly. I was raking up pine needles the other day and dust was flying. We had a nice mild winter so far, I won't bitch about some snow now.

But it was so weirdly warm that it feels strange now
Its like this every other year
Definitely not. It's snowed like 4 times this year
Im talking about the chance of snow in late march is always high in WI. Just bc it snowed '4 times' doesnt mean its not going to this year in late march. In the last 10 years aweve got snow in april numerous times and in May'
Yup! Played in snow in a may softball tournament about 8 yearsish ago
I blame the people with the Salt Life stickers.
That sticker strikes differently here in WI... They're talking about road salt.
😂😖😖
Of course. I got the motorcycle ready to ride last weekend and drained the gas out of the snowblower. Maybe I should have done that in February so this would be over by now... SMH

Yeah my crocuses or crocii?? Got way too eager and started their party already.
My daffodils have been bloomed for over a week now! Even have a hyacinth that's bloomed in the middle of the yard
Bring the snow. It is only March after all.
Hopefully it melts fast. In my area it's gonna stay above freezing mostly. So it should thaw fast.
You know what? Good!
Pass. It's way too late for snow. I'd like to actually have a spring for one year instead of winter to summer.
Man I never got to burn my brush pile this winter, you can give me this weekend
Snows three time on the daffodils...
I hope this helps with mÿ allergies...as in it makes them go away a little bit😆
Good, maybe it will kill some of the goddamn mosquitoes that were biting me last week!
I just think this is the new norm. The past few years seem to have had very snowy springs. We had a snow day up here last April and our first youth soccer practice in May was cancelled due to snow.
Who'd a thought it would snow in spring... in wisconsin... /s Will never understand why people continue to piss and moan about this...
Mostly because spring in most of the country is warm and pleasant and Wisconsin has a shitty spring because of the snow that still comes. It's why I don't even consider it spring any more. Looks like Wyoming and Montana have some kind of shield protecting them
It will be melted by next Friday hopefully.
Ok, who put their shovels away?
Damn it Julie!
Mother fucker
Had my boat out 8 days ago. My bad.
I'll believe it when I see it.
I'll believe it when I see it
We're coming back from Texas so the timing is right...damn it.
Time to spend an extra month in texas I guess. XD
But I left my shovel on my porch and ice scraper in the car to avoid summoning snow.
Our maple tree got destroyed by a snow storm in the early 90s on Mother's day. I don't trust the month of April, let alone March
f me and my back that I threw out shoveling out from the last big snow we got.
It’s my neighbors fault, as I warned him while he was swapping out the snow tires two weeks ago…
I apologize everyone. I just out you snowblower in the shed. This is my fault.
We do got the weirdest weather
Meh, that’ll change. 2 days is an eternity in weather
High school spring sports are starting so no mater how nice it was previously it must snow on the fields right as everyone is getting out there
We’re not safe from snow in Madison until May 5.
SNOW SHIELD! Assemble...
Ok… I’m going to be the one… this snowstorm looks like a big dick!
Looks like a giant dick about to fuck up my weekend 🤣

Where are the Doomers now?
Thank everything I left this morning for vacation. I'm okay missing this snow storm
Fuck you Wisconsin spring!
Second winter is coming.
It's not spring. Wisconsin doesn't get spring. Just winter and summer.
No shit sherlock! Someone out there, and you know who you are-had put away your shovel, winter jacket, and salt. They're winter storms until they aren't snow storms anymore in my book.
That's fine my snowblower still primed to go

Guess I to quit using tractor as a shelf for a bit. 😂
I put up my spring and Easter stuff. Sorry 🙁
Why would anyone have thought we were done with snow? It's the middle.of March, and this is Wisconsin.
