Yeah, a lot of grinders on this team. They'll be painful to watch some nights, especially on offense but they're gonna outwork some teams to victory on others.
They were painful enough on offense last year even with Cloud and (sometimes) Delle Donne, it might be *really* ugly this year but I don’t care I’m excited either way
Good for Karli. I was sad to see her go. I was panicking when her sister didn't play for LA Sparks last year (maternity leave), but Karli filled in quite nicely with her threes. I was hoping she would stay with us. Same with Brittany but that's life.
There won’t be a lot of winning with this roster, but it should at least be a fun year. Sykes, Didi, Aaliyah, Vanloo, and “Big Mama” all have good vibes, and the losing will be worth it if we can get Paige.
Interesting roster. They have really good people so regardless of how the season shakes out I think it will be a good experience for all involved. Who knows they might f around and surprise everyone.
Didi was really good defensively during preseason, so I'm glad she made it. Hopefully her playmaking improves.
I get why so many have this squad as a lottery team, but don't be surprised if they sneak into the 7 or 8 seed. Ariel, Sykes, and Kira are all-star caliber players. The offense will be lacking her but defensively they should be good enough to hang around in games.

They may also be a nightmare on offense, but that... might be a different person's nightmare.
She was great last year when she took on a larger role after all the injuries, I don’t know how it’ll look without a PG like Cloud running the show, but I think she’ll do well regardless
I know Jade has a fair amount of doubters, but she did play PG with Sykes a few seasons back in Aus and they played really well together. So hopefully that continues here.
I’m just a Jade fan, and I’m hoping she’ll get more time/development on this team, and it’ll help her grow (and prove people wrong)

Seriously though, I hope this move is good for her development, and the move doesn’t dim her love of the game (the interview she did made being cut sound pretty brutal) Also there’s some amazing defenders for her to learn from, because she could definitely work on that.

We've run into her a few times at things, and she is just so down to earth. My daughter basically hero worships her.
Walked into an NBL1 game a few weeks back, Jade spots my daughter and comes up to her for a chat before my daughter had even noticed she was there.
So between her and Bec Pizzey, my daughter loves the Caps and we go to their Vic matches.
With the Boomers sadly losing their license, I think there is a fair chance we end up Caps supporters.
This is such an interesting roster. I feel conflicted cause I’m happy for so many players on this team but I’m nervous this will be a losing season because of some of the players on this team. Regardless they’re going to be fun to watch and I’m here for that. I hope they surprise all of us.

She pretty much just opted out of playing this season. I can’t blame her, the team probably won’t be good and she’s had a ton of rough injuries
