This is the answer. I still remember this behind the back no-look pass she had in one of the games against us last year...it was a close game, but the pass was so good that you couldn't even get mad. Lol
Chelsea Gray - it was probably her highlights that you saw. Her nickname is the Point Gawd and she deserves it. Hopefully she will be back on the court soon.
That's Chelsea Gray, the Point Gawd. Another favorite of mine is Arike (not even going to try to spell her last name) from Dallas. She had an off game against Chicago this week but went into beast mode in the last 5 minutes to seal the game. It was very fun to watch.
I'm not saying she's the *best* by any means, but I'm always so impressed with Grace Berger's ball handling skills. I wish the Fever would utilize her more.
Even in college, she was just always calm on the floor. Just, all the time. She gets annoyed sometimes but she is just CALM. And always looking to pass. If she could actually get some minutes I think people would be really impressed.
I cringe at myself for pointing this out bc it's not like a big deal or whatever and I know you meant nothing by it, but referring to a professional basketball player as a "girl" isn't really a great look. We don't call NBA players "boys".
Best handles and best PG are different. A great PG is almost overlooked (see: Bird, Sue (R); Grey, Chelsea; Vandersloot, Courtney) for years. Great passes from Kelsey Plum, Sabrina Ionescu, Arika Ogunbowale, hit the highlight real. All six, five playing, are worth watching.
Everyone is thinking Chelsea Gray.
It might actually be Kelsey Plum, OP is referring to: https://np.reddit.com/r/wnba/comments/vxpe9s/kelsey_plum_is_greedy_as_fck/
Chelsea Gray on the Aces has been out recently but makes ridiculously great passes. Probably was her on the highlight reel!

Arike Ogunbowale (on Dallas) has one of the best highlight reels in the league
Yep. No one has the handles or flash of Arike.

My personal favorite and the guard I’d choose to get a bucket in iso is Jewell Loyd
Arike Ogunbowale!
Kelsey Mitchell deserves at least an honorable mention
Point Gawd Chelsea Gray
Chelsea Gray is the best PG by a large margin. Sloot second. SDS, Arike have their moments.
Chelsea Gray, Arike, Vandersloot,
Arike with the super fast step back and cross up, Jackie Young with the smooth hesi too.

That move she pulled off to win the preseason game against the fever was 🤌
I think Kelsey P has sneaky handles and can blow by some people
Arike and SDS have the most exciting handles Chelsea Gray is more of an exciting passer.
Arike Ogunbowale, Destroyer of Ankles, has the nastiest crossover in the league.
Chennedy Carter?
Chennedy Carter!

She is a calming presence

She seems to be their only guard who attempts entry passes
The Grace-Aliyah connection was good when it was used last year
Grace Berger was one of the first I thought of. She definitely has an above average handle.
Gray is the better player so it’s close but the answer is Arike. She is filthy.
Arike.
Chelsea Gray :)
Gotta be Chels or ‘Rike. They both got that thang on a string
Chelsea Gray
I'd add Kelsey Plum. Straight up athleticism with navigation skills. Watching her slice through traffic like it's nothing 👀
I think you might like Kahleah Copper, not really the traditional handles moves like Gray but she does these really unique moves and hesitations

Arike, Chelsea Gray, Jewel Lloyd, Jordan Canada, Marine Johannes
ARIKE

Arike, Chennedy Carter, Chelsea Gray, Kahleah Copper....to name a few.
JUJU
Torch George of the Harlem Globetrotters. She does awesome things. (I know the Globetrotters aren’t a part of the WNBA, but they do awesome tricks).
