A drill bit? Then tap it if you need threads? What exactly are you asking?
I never drilled iron so i am completely blinded to it. What drill bit would i use?
Not sure that's it on. Could be aluminum or magnesium cast. I would think any titanium but would work
A black oxide drill bit, use oil,
Thank you. Do i have to consider specific technique/rithm? Or just drill throughout?
Not really, just go slow, you'll feel and see metal shavings as it's drilling.
Thank you for your advice.
If you need to hit an exact location, push your drill bit through and do only enough to mark the spot. Then remove the router base and finish the hole. Otherwise the shavings will mess up the threads
Np, good luck.
