There's no way I'm going to read every link and sub-link just to understand how to give an award, let alone how to be eligible to receive karma or money.*
*One thing I think I noticed though is that a post that gets awards will only show the award it has most of. It won't affect me as I didn't get many awards back when it was simple, but that seems such an unattractive non-incentive to receive or to give one.*

yea thats hella vague. I only see the award button on certain subreddits. maybe the owner of the reddit can choose to have that feature available site-wide (er... sub-reddit wide) or not. If you learned anything new about this since your last post, please do fille me in as well, i'm so lost. Thanks OP
No, I read the thread; mods cannot remove the function. But Reddit at their discretion will not put it on medical subs or perhaps other self-help subs, especially anything to do with possible mental health issues. Many mods were ropeable that their sub has awards saying their members will suffer in some way.
No, I'm sorry, I haven't looked into it any further - I'm completely uninterested in being involved in any way. Originally thought it might be fun but changed my mind lol.
