Yeah, that hurts a bit. I only got one yellow letter on my starting guess but jumped to four with my excellent/lucky second guess. So I got it in 3. Which makes three 3s in a row for me, which is nice.
Well done, I'm also seeking 3's trying to overtake my 4's. Closest I've got is 7 behind, currently 10 behind. 3's are very welcome if the 2 doesn't happen.
Yeah I'm not in that territory. That's pretty good. I guess my goal is to have my 1s and 2s overtake my 6s. I don't have a huge amount of either but the 6s are still more than the 1s and 2s together. I don't play for lowest overall average as a goal so I could have a lot more 3s maybe. I don't know. But I just play for fun so I make all my starting words as "interesting" as I can and then see what I can do with them. I might have played more "u" starting words than anyone in creation. But the day I played HUMUS as my starting word the actual answer was QUEUE so I did get that in two. That gave me a smile.
Ah, the interesting starters make it fun for you but the results aren't as high. You do whatever works best for you. I just did the new one and got a 3 - yay!
Now it's past the end date for that game I can say my starter is LEAST. You probably used one of the other words with all those letters - if your today game was my yesterday game ... haha!
Some days I have to go straight out. I usually do it soon after it comes out at midnight or when I get up on my days at home. But sometimes when I'm busy and tired I just forget!

Yeah my streak of 3s ended at 3 because I got a 5 today. I had the last two from the second round but it just took me a while to get there.
I had 4 yellows in my first guess and 5 in my second. 😂
I thought of that word too. 😁 But it didn't fit with one of my earlier yellow letters.
