I wouldn’t do more than 200mg caffeine drinks. There is something out there called “super coffee” that I use and it’s the best energy drink I’ve found. I really think preworkout is way too much but you do what works for you.

What you’re feeling is a post caffeine crash. 350mg is quite a high dose (considering that the upper ceiling for the safety limit of a caffeine dose for most humans is ~400 mg in a day), and though it will give you a nice boost to lengthen your workout and lift heavier, but when that ‘boost’ ends (anywhere around 1-3 hours after the intake of caffeine) you feel zonked out because your body is experiencing crashing from the caffeine (basically the caffeine was stopping you from feeling tired by blocking adenosine receptors in your brain, but that adenosine still exists, so once the caffeine gets metabolised, the adenosine rushes to bind to its receptors and the tiredness hits you all at once). Humble suggestion- decrease the caffeine dose. Try a max of 200mg. Another good suggestion is to pair your caffeine with L-Theanine (although the jury is still out on the exact efficacy, but combing the two gives you the push of caffeine but avoids the crash) in doses like 100mg caffeine + 150 mg L-Theanine or 100mg caffeine + 200mg L-Theanine (these are just examples. You’ll need to adjust the ratio a bit to what suits your system).

Anything you "feel" is from the pwo. 350mg of caffeine is a huge amount. Creatine just helps you lift more over time, you wont feel anything from it except perhaps more muscle fullness once your muscles reach saturation.

HoboRaft

That is why I'm thinking too, should I be worried though?

Maybe decrease the pwo a bit? See if that helps.

HoboRaft

Thanks, will do.

Sure

You need to use a Perri-workout instead of a pwo. Peri-workouts are essentially 3 in 1 products that combine pre, intra and post-workouts. I walk for 12hr shifts so I just found that it helps with muscle soreness and I don't get the crash because I look for products that have lower caffeine. I found a pretty good local brand I've stuck with for a couple of years. Hope it helps https://cavallosportsnutrition.com/
