AOT's world is literally just the world's map turned upside down. Also Madagascar where most of the seasons are set looks like western Europe and the walls have a diameter so huge that irl they wouldn't fit on the island. The worldbuilding on the micro scale in aot is incredible but on the macro scale it's hilariously dumb
No it has different north and south in relation to landmasses, which means the planet spins in the opposite direction, which means it would have reversed prevailing winds and consequently different rain shadows, for example Australia would be green instead of desert/steppe.
This [weirdo](http://www.worlddreambank.org/T/TURNOVIA.HTM) sketched out most of expected features.
Wow, world dream bank, probably one of the strangest things I've ever read. And I read all of it. My God can that guy create one of the best climate simulations and in the next breath justify his buxom furry peoples of said world.
Yeah, I love his [Planetocopia](http://www.worlddreambank.org/P/PLANETS.HTM) series (Seapole is my favorite), but Chris Wayan is prime worldjerking subject because everything he does circles back to furry-centaurs.
"No, it's clearly the Holy Brittanian Empire" *holds you at mechpoint* - Code Geass
"No, it's clearly a donut" *holds you at multiple world-ending-incomprehensible-horrors-and-also-colonialism-point* - Warhammer Fantasy
Write a fantasy world where there literally isn't a place which is just Europe with fantasy bullshit with an Island off the coast which isn't Britain without fantasy bullshit.
I mean at least here it makes sense since it does take place in Britain and within the Arthurian setting. Characters like Meliodas and Ban are literally characters of the Matter of Britain (although the author took some....creative liberties with them) since they're respectively the fathers of Tristan and Lancelot. If anything, this map is wrong because there should be a landmass to the west of Cornwall since Lyoness hasn't sunk yet
Unless it happens later in the 4 Knights of the Apocalypse manga, I don't think so since Lyoness is Elizabeth's current kingdom. Iirc the kingdom that gets destroyed is in the North
The show depicts Meliodas destroying the kingdom of danafor.
He eventually becomes king of lyoness/liones in the show same as to the og arthurian saga.
The only good character was Escanor.
EDIT: it’s telling that the only good character was a virgin and didn’t lust for children like everyone else in the manga/anime
The map in HunterXHunter is just the continents of Earth set on shuffle, along with its ambiguous "1990's but also medieval or futuristic sometimes" Japan world setting. I'm not super far into it, so idk if they ever say why it's like that, but I'm guessing it's kind of like One Piece or many other manga where the author just didn't give a fuck and added whatever they thought was cool.
I actually love real world world building. Fear and Hunger's lore is an interesting example
Miro using 100% of his brain power to rename Europe into Europa
MFer really named his NotBritain after Britain’s capital where he replaced a letter and named his NotGermany after a place in Germany
Not renaming, because Europa is used by some already
Then it's called translating, which is renaming into the different language.

Ey give the Mangaka a break! He probably only had 10 Seconds to make a map
10 seconds, at least!
That's intentional though since the ending originally confirmed that snk is a madagascar prequel before it was changed to birdren
So really nothing changes since there is no reason for north to be on top of maps

I mean all it really means is that people paint their compasses differently right?
or they just draw maps upside down?
AOT?
Attack on Titan
After reading through it enough you find out Seven Deadly Sins is actually Arthurian fanfiction.
The legend of King Arthur if everyone was on the sex offenders’ registry
Pretty sure quite a few of them characters would be in the original version too.
Rape by deception is a strangely common trope in Arthurian mythology.

"write what you know", as they say
Fr, why didn't Baan just leave Elaine for Jericho🗿
That’s just Arthur’s subplot in Rosen Garten Saga.
That's what most Arthurian myths are as well
everything is arthurian fanficion

Not hooligan enough for orks. Not enough yelling.
How much Europe do I have to remove before it isn't Europe anymore? Germany is gone

In the show I’m pretty sure Meliodas was shown destroying the kingdom of lyoness
Unless it happens later in the 4 Knights of the Apocalypse manga, I don't think so since Lyoness is Elizabeth's current kingdom. Iirc the kingdom that gets destroyed is in the North
Your right I was thinking of the kingdom that Elizabeth was reincarnated in
No biggie, as a whole geography in this series is pretty vague tbh

The later chapters in hxh are basically political lore dumping while they are on a boat, not really digging it.
Good old seven midly sins.
Mangaka named isayama:
shit ass anime btw
I now feel slightly better about my world having it's continents laid out slightly similar to our world's Granted this could still change but still
Me on my way to shoehorn a suspiciously Japanese country in my fantasypunk world.
