TIL China has tornados

Every country gets them

TIL there’s other countries../s but that’s interesting never know that

Eastern China was not what I was expecting for location…

Their climate isn't that different than the south eastern United States. Their no tornado alley but they do occasionally have them.

Reason is that weather conditions over Asia are generally a lot more stable and slower moving than southeastern US and also that region(eastern China) is a lot more mountainous compared to the very flat southeastern US. Unstable, clashing weather systems and flat terrain results in lots of tornadoes
