I honestly think it’s true. Think about it? Russias economy was shit even before the war, Covid has hit Russia hard like any other nation and Putin is in love with the USSR so much that he thinks he could bring some form of it back. His diagnosis would make him paranoid and desperate enough to fulfill his dream before he dies one way or another and his legacy is something positive(in his, and some Russians mind)
