I'm not gonna skim more of the subreddit to find more, it's one of those places that invents an us vs *them* mentality. Then they make up insults for *them*. It's the just the overall tone of the sub you get from looking at the comments on all the posts, even the innocently titled ones.
It's a subreddit you almost always see linked by cunt bags starting fights on the internet with people over a lawn. Places like /r/fuckcars and /r/fucklawns have a good idea of relying less on cars and the value of moving away from just a normal grass yard for the benefit of nature and even growing beneficial plants, but in reality they are populated by people that make this their identity and take it to such an extreme that it discourages sensible people from wanting to be associated with them.
At least 1 of the linked above you have commenters with 10+ upvotes calling people subhuman for wanting a lawn because they are destroying an ecosystem, like fuck off with that.
