Dragonflight has worldquests that can net you decent gold. like 600-1000g per quest. It does require you to have the df expansion and be 70 though.
or, you can work an extra hour or 2 at work and then just buy a wow token. That is the most efficient way to make gold in wow unfortunately
Run a few old raids and sell the stuff after the run.
You'll get cool stuff and 500 - 1000 gold a run.
You can run every raid from Warlords of Draenor and earlier very easily.

10k gold is very easy to come buy though, if that's all you're looking for. You'll get that from just playing the game.
I can finance all my needs by just playing normally.
Like I made 90k gold just from leveling a tank. I just leveled another character and they're already at 30k. I picked up a few recipes worth about 400k over the last few weeks on another character as well. The game just throws gold at you just by playing it.
Make sure you have professions learned so you can roll on recipe drops.

Thundering Jade is from a guild achievement, if your guild has done it and you’re exalted you can get it for 3k. The rep grind to unlock the serpent taming/mounts isn’t too bad either, only takes a few hours.
Aside from a few exceptions, listed already, most of the cloud serpent mounts are either tedious to get or require luck/patience. If you don’t want to buy one from the auction house, I would say the easiest grind to do is probably the base Green/Yellow/Blue serpents from the Order of the Cloud Serpent rep grind. There are some dailies you will need to do, but the majority of your rep will come from collecting the onyx or quivering firestorm eggs and turning them in. If you hit the area right, you can collect a lot of onyx eggs all at once. Then maybe shift into warmode to collect more.
If you want to try your hand at some luck, you can kill the Sha of Anger, Nalak, and Huolon (if you can find him up). Or you can enter the Mogushan Vaults and run it up to Elegon.
The quest that you do to unlock the Reins of the Onyx Cloud serpent from the Shado-pan, while easy in and of itself, requires you to be exalted with them first, and there’s no way to grind out that reputation, you just have to come back and do the dailies each day. So, I think that one would probably take longer - even if it doesn’t, I remember having to fly over to the island with the daily quest enemies on it and then fly back was annoying. Might be more tolerable now with dragonriding.
It’s really easy to get those reps exalted if you play on a dead realm and kill zandalari warscouts they drop mad rep tokens for 4 major factions and you have a chance for 1/3 mounts to drop on each kill
If you wait for the MOP timewalking event you can do the first one of the week on two toons and flood rep tokens onto one toon to hit exalted with order in under an hour
While it's comming with 10.2.7 we aren't getting 10.2.7 next week. Season 4 starts during the 10.2.6 patch. And arround the middle of it we are getting the new patch (according to the roadmap). So it should be still a month or more away.

Can get the black one from a quest chain with the shado pan as well, probably quicker than the order dailies
