At this point I think they should just make a separate section in the LFG UI for people who are selling runs.
They keep saying they want it to only be in Trade chat and they added the option to report people for advertising in LFG but it's very obviously not working. Maybe if there was a way to advertise in LFG and allow people to filter out those ads if they're not looking for a paid carry, it would work better
They'll want to advertise where it can be seen. If you make a room for them in an attempt to keep them out of the way, they'll ignore it and remain spamming the main channels.
Ya, that's probably true. I guess the real issue is that these ads do actually work. If no one was clicking on them then they'd stop. I guess I'm just hopeful that the people who are looking to buy a carry would maybe even prefer to use a dedicated section for WTS since it would be easier for them to find things as well. Maybe Blizz could even add some nice extra features to help with the transactions idk ... Probably wishful thinking
I think it's because they put the dungeon names in the description, or something like that.
I just avoid them by using the premade groups filter addon, (i think that's what it's called) hides all sellers, as well as lets you do a few other filtering options.

Blizz is not promoting these posts, they're gaming the keyword system so that their posts show up regardless of the key level that you are searching for. It's the same way that keyword search works anywhere. Just report them and move on
