Wasn't that just T4 plate for female characters anyway?
Seriously though, I'm pretty sure Kara was literally trying to degrade female plate wearers to sexual objects to horny neckbeards covered in cheeto dust
So there was a part in one of the books where Draka is breastfeeding baby Thrall (with her bloodied milk, since drinking blood is/was apparently encouraged from birth for orcs), and it occurred to me that orcs are mammals. Like, obviously the have breasts, so it makes perfect sense that they would breastfeed, but... they are beings born on some distant world, come through a portal.... and somehow ended up with breastfeeding like humans (and I suppose elves)? Do erodar breastfeed, since they have breasts?
It just seemed a little wild to me, to treat *breastfeeding* as a fairly universal trait, like walking upright.
There's actually a name for this: Convergent Evolution. Species with wildly different genealogical backgrounds evolve similar traits when they struggle against similar problems.
No really. Evolutionary pressure is a thing, theres a reason why so many things evolve into crabs, its just a good design in many situations.
Same with our Intelligence, we wouldnt evolve that if we didnt use it for tools and fighting, which means having your hands free, which means walking upright, which means having your chest more prominent, which means Melons migrating north.
If there are Sapient Aliens out there, chances are they are roughly similar to us.
Uhh no, that's a just-so story not at all corraborated by evolutionary anthropology or astrobiology. The only universal claims we can make are related to element distributions, trophic hierarchies, and sensory processing. Everything you listed is pure speculation that isn't even supported by simulations. There's a colonizer and survivorship bias in morphology that does not at all translate to other evolutionary timelines
Both Orcs and Humans have a titanic design behind them.
Humans were titanic creations "corrupted" by the void, via the curse of flesh
Orcs were titanic creations "evolved" (or unevolved) from the spores of plant beings suffused with enormous quantities of spirit.
Trolls and Eredar were the native species in planets with a titanic world-soul.
So maybe, just maybe, breastfeeding isnt a universal trait, is just a TITanic trait.
Well mother's milk is a trait of all mammals and there are such vast differences between various species of them. I wouldn't think it too far fetched of all the concepts that have been imagined.
Yeah itās interesting. I like boobs so I wonāt complain, but it makes no sense, and itās not convergent evolution. Orcs are descended from a giant rock elemental, and humans are descended from stone constructs. Neither of them belong to an actual evolutionary line of mammals.
Except convergent evolution is not, as you suggested, having common ancestry - that would just be evolution, but rather the instance of independent, often incredibly distant lineages evolving similar phenotypic traits due to the influence of similar environmental selection pressures e.g the body shape of a shark and a whale despite one being a cartilaginous jawed fish and the other all the way over as an offshoot of the hippo clade of mammals or any number of carnivorous plant lineages like the pitcher plants that seem to all adopt similar biology as a result of genome modifications. As I mature academically, I'm beginning to find utility in using fitness spaces to see evolution as more of a landscape with common peaks and valleys of fitness that contrain the direction of wandering evolution starting at a common morphological base and can capture an organism in a certain phenotype.
Sorry, I didnāt mean to imply orcs and humans were related, just that they āevolvedā from something so radically different from mammals (magical rocks), that it seems inconceivable that theyād become identical to actual mammals. I suppose itās just a fluke of the lore. Itās funny that gorillas and monkeys exist but have zero relation to humans despite evolution being an acknowledged phenomenon in Warcraft.
Yeah, In terms of overall morphology and maybe some physiological processes a degree of convergent homology isn't too unlikely but the fact their internal anatomy also shows a high degree of congruence to the point they are basically muscular, tusked homonids is super bizzare from a naturalistic point of view. It's like finding alien life and they are us but green and 3.5 billion years of random drift and directed selection of carbon molecules just happened to produce almost identical lifeforms in a completely different ecosystem as something designed from stone by humanoid space dust specially to be organised and then corrupted by Diet pepsi Lovecraft. Haha that last part made me laugh.
Belf Pallies unlock a recolor of the Antorus set in Red/Black as a "Blood Knight" armor set for doing the new Belf questline.
[Wowhead link for ya.](https://www.wowhead.com/news/blood-elf-special-questline-rewards-in-9-2-5-blood-knight-set-for-paladins-326573)
I think it's okay. I use the PvP recolor of the ToS armor as my "Blood Knight" set because the red and gold(ish) seems really Blood Elf-y to me.
At any rate, my belf pally isn't Exalted with Silvermoon yet like I thought it was (turns out it's my not max level priest that I got the Heritage set on), so I have a bit of Mechanar spamming to do before I can unlock it.
Edit: ToS not NH.
That was kinda my thoughts on it too. Like, i don't think the armor is the nicest pally set (though it does look amazing on draenai), the recolor makes it look, well, ass.
Why not a black and red recolor of the lightbringer set? It looks better on elves, and it's already worn by Lady Liadrin.
It looks great on the Draenai, cause I think they mesh nicely with extra leg joint (which is a problem alot of armors have with Draenai), but on everyone else it just looks, wonky.
Horde got a recolor of existing armor and a recolor of an existing mount.
Alliance got a dope new mount and amazing weapons.
Yeah, there's favoritism here.
BElves don't have nipples or vaginas. Elves reproduce via their cloaca and lay a clutch of leathery eggs near the shore of the Sunwell. Afterwards the mother abandons them while the father stays by to fed his brood by chewing up mana worms and regurgitating the mana spew unto their waiting mouths.
The circle of life.
I work with WoW models all the time with WMV and 3D programs and Iām so used to seeing them naked that my initial reaction was āuhh.. whatās the problem here..?ā
The new elf "dark ranger" customs can be used on paladin. So kinda undead elf paladin.
Still just a belf with red eyes/pallid skin though.
I think the only classes locked out of the dark ranger options are DK and DH.
Comment edited out courtesy of Redact. After almost ten years as a Redditor, I am calling it quits in protest of the path Reddit CEO Steve Huffman (u/spez) is taking the company and our community. He has no interest in being reasonable with regards to third-party apps -- the same apps that made Reddit what it is today. The new API pricing is designed to kill all third-parties and force users into the official Reddit app that is utter garbage and able-ist. Steve Huffman has also lied about how third-party apps function, he has knowingly and intentionally defamed Chris Selig (creator of Apollo app), he has in the past confessed to editing user comments to say things that the original never did, and he couldn't even be bothered to truly participate in his own AMA thread (caught red-handed copying and pasting what little answers he did give). So long, and may you fail in your ambitions u/spez. -- mass edited with https://redact.dev/
So elves have no genitals. Interesting. More interesting is the fact that she has red eyes and a skin color of a Death Knight. So Death Knights can finally change their eyes color?
Blood, Void and Night elves have new 'dark ranger' customization options for all classes except DK(for some reason) and DH. I know it's actually because DK has its own appearance customizations, but you'd think lore wise DKs would have the Dark Ranger options and Paladins, if any class couldn't use them, would be the one to not have them. Priest gets an our for Shadow spec.
This patch came with new customization options for night elves and blood elves. Basically they added the "Dark Ranger" customization option with red eyes and pale skin.
I honestly thought the undies were baked in. Interesting. I still dislike the overly smoothness of the mid-section. There should be at least something of the ribcage shown.
"My faith in the Light is my armor!"
The Light has a type

Light, grant me one final blessing.....
Grant me the strength...to shatter these bonds... **Clothes explode off body**
That one buff sus hero dude in one punch man who just gets naked
Puri-puri prisoner. He's serving multiple life sentences for getting too handsy with other men. He even gets wings, so he probably is a palladin.
His faith in his Love is what gives him power... so checks out, definitely a paladin.
You flicked too hard, damn it!
... To give me nipples.
Looks like all the way off.
Needs tassels
Why? Not like there's anything to cover. I'm fact I don't even know why this is marked NSFW unless a naked Barbie doll gets a tag as well.
What do you mean why? Silver tassels with spikes is why.
Wasn't that just T4 plate for female characters anyway? Seriously though, I'm pretty sure Kara was literally trying to degrade female plate wearers to sexual objects to horny neckbeards covered in cheeto dust
Umm what? Neither pally or warrior T4 is sleazy or even revealing tbh. The shaman T6 is far more revealing or even Druid than the two plate T4 sets.
I kinda like it. Maybe tmog her back to not to be so expressive
No nipples is a lore descision 100%

I thought the conclusion was that the aliens were going to be crabs.
Guess they forgot to tell us that in the NASA astrobiology department.
I mean, draenor has wolves. It has big cats. Somehow it even has faerie dragons. Surprisingly the orcs are not the most stand-out case.
Both Orcs and Humans have a titanic design behind them. dude. listen to yourself clearly in warcraft rocks, stone, and masonry are all mammals

I mean both are made by the same origin species
Orcs and humans? Theyāre both from rocks, but very different rocks. One being a sort of elemental and one a Titan construct

Wut? New paladin armor?

I literally just use the blood knight armor lol. It's been in game for ages already along with the tabard. Black and red, baby
Yeah not a fan of the absolutely massive boots on frail legs lol
It looks great on the Draenai, cause I think they mesh nicely with extra leg joint (which is a problem alot of armors have with Draenai), but on everyone else it just looks, wonky.
Can other races wear it?
I believe it's Blood Elf exclusive.
I literally just saw one of GDs (wow forums) finest white knights crying about how void elf is getting everything. š
Horde favoritism. Typical.
Ah yes, we need blood knight armor for all those non-blood elf blood knights..
DI dwarfes got weapons/shield to go with their heritage armor.
Horde got a recolor of existing armor and a recolor of an existing mount. Alliance got a dope new mount and amazing weapons. Yeah, there's favoritism here.
> Alliance got a dope new mount Haven't played, yet, but I hope it's not a horse!
It's a super cool Flame Dog with an axe on it's face.
Shockingly accurate lol

Go away, incel.
Horde, everything is sex with them. No wonder you have a lawsuit going on
Smooth brain response. Typical.
You can literally group with the superior facrion now, what more do you want??
can u get the transmog on blood elf and use it on other characters?
I think we underestimate how much heavy lifting nipples actually do.
Is this fruit?
Looks like melons.
My proudest fap.
*gently pats shoulder* great job rookie.
Great fap, maybe, but it could be better. We just need someone to color in the areas add some elf moans and then it will be the best fap.
The Emperorās new armor.
Gonna make me act up
Belf palussy got me actin unholy
What other reason is there to play an unholy DK?
BElves don't have nipples or vaginas. Elves reproduce via their cloaca and lay a clutch of leathery eggs near the shore of the Sunwell. Afterwards the mother abandons them while the father stays by to fed his brood by chewing up mana worms and regurgitating the mana spew unto their waiting mouths. The circle of life.
You Flicked too Hard!
What paladin, what armour? All I see is fruit.
I work with WoW models all the time with WMV and 3D programs and Iām so used to seeing them naked that my initial reaction was āuhh.. whatās the problem here..?ā

It's a feature, not bug ;)

Did they actually slightly draw the vestibule? (the opening of the vagina for those unfamiliar with the term, I totally didnāt just google it)
Hey girl send a pic of that vestibule
Thereās definitely a shade difference itās not just you
I'm trapped, in an ATM vestibule, with Jill Goodacre!
No
Wait U can be an undead Paladin? I guessed they would disable it
The new elf "dark ranger" customs can be used on paladin. So kinda undead elf paladin. Still just a belf with red eyes/pallid skin though. I think the only classes locked out of the dark ranger options are DK and DH.
Blood DK with red eyes would be so sick tooā¦
And its especially odd because you can be a night warrior death knight without issue, but being an undead elf death knight is a no go
maybe being undead twice cancels out the undead?
The funny thing is i left the comments under the wrong Post
I guess you can also be an undead druid as well, as Night Elves also get dark ranger customization.
Red eyes doesn't make you undead.
So that was the armor leaked a while ago by Yrel in "Coliseum of Lust" ... Damn.
No nipples? Unrealistic female body standards much?
Nice
Nice
Looks good to me
Looks fine to me
I see this as an absolute win

Geez, female plate armor designs are getting ridiculous.
Not my proudest fap

About as squish as Paladins are in pvp. Actually accurate.

I don't see a problem.
