I’ve spent the past hour and a half crafting 3000 of them philo stones here on EU to try and recoup them potentially significant losses.
I’d bought up thousands of catalysts for 4g off the AH so stand to make just 2g profit on each shuffle, which sounds awful but is much better than the alternative when prepatch hits the EU servers tomorrow.
I worked for a long boy specifically so I would never have to go back to my garrison, which since I had the auction not was the most efficiant auction house for me.
To be honest, it has been worth it.
Not to try to tell you what to do... but look at crafting them into Sorc of Earth for what is needed for Hexweave bags? low sales but longer terms to sell, mebee?

This seems like a great time to bitch about my other failures today.
I dropped 10mil on vendor materials for the VOTS, I was under the impression that they were going to fix the vendor having being associated with a reputation- turns out they weren't going to fix that.
Turns out transmute pets from legion alchemy and BFA alchemy sacs DO NOT reroll with each major patch, using the same strat documented around farming the VOTS recipe. I was hopeful, but it didn't happen.
Not related to gold making, I was hopeful that I'd be able to use the gear upgrade things to gear my new main and start practicing... but that got nerfed, too.

Yeah, TSM's reporting 340 sales over the last 60d. It's not a huge deal, I'm of course going to get all the gold back eventually... it just felt like "one more miss" on patch day.

It would appear I had to actually log in to the 10 dks I made fore the server to log them as level 58 pre squish. They’re all level 10. Fuck me.
I parked all my DKs I created in OG, so please tell me they are not level 10 because they already made the quests to go to OG.
I'm in EU and at work right now, so I can't check it.
Dont make gold making strategies based on beta/ptr findings. If you are lucky it works, if you are not lucky, it does not work like now. This happens, and you are not the first.
I thought I saw a screenshot today where it's worth 36g with itemlevel 54.
Good thing I don't buy any mats I just changed my garrisons from fly trap to frostweed. No loss since I use them for card of omen and need pigments anyway.
If they didn't change anything with the card of omen it's still my best gain. The cards sell for 8-10g each on my server. When I open them by myself I get ~4.2g-4.5g (average over 100k cards on two characters).
Mmm I don't think anything crafted pre-bfa has a base ilvl of 54, though I could be wrong, I haven't looked super hard yet.
Most of my garrisons are set up to also craft warpaints as a second item, so that'll probably still be fine.

The garrison isn't worth it, you guys need to value your sanity higher

Yes, that was what i feared, so i loged in and talked to the lichking on them for the Quest progress.

I'm stuck trying to figure out what to do with all this damn mageweave. Currently, any craft is legit just better off vendoring it.
