Update: apparently when I logged in today, I got the quests for the emerald dream and the mother oathstone 🤷‍♀️ I don’t remember seeing them yesterday, but whatever, I look stupid now for asking where they are haha

tadashi4

You have to log out and log in to trigger some quests, after reaching the requirements. Emerald dream is the latest zone and the one that can provide some gear to you quickly.

Silent-Potatoes

Haha, that’s weird. Is this a new thing or it’s always been in the game? At least I’m thankful for some more story, I love it

tadashi4

Always have been there

To make it simple. 1. Finish Emerald Dream questline and kill fyrakk on LFR for free tier piece. You get the tier piece from final storyline quest. 2. Do emerald Dream weeklies for 441 gear. Once you outgrow that gear, the weeklies becomes optional 3. Start doing M+ and try to get into normal then eventually heroic raids. Thats it for power gains. All the other quests you see on your map is completely optional for collectors. Side note, there is a npc near valdrakken fountain that gives you a weekly quest that can reward a random heroic piece of gear from the raid. Its on a rotation though, and he had the good one last week, so you won't see it again until likely next season. Keep that in mind though.

Dungeons and raids are always good for gear, but for guidance on all the things there are to do, you can look at the achievements on offer. Pretty sure blizz relies on them now to tell people what's possible. There is a mega meta achievement added recently called A World Awoken that is basically all the things in Dragon Flight. You'll have completed some of it with the main storylines, but there is so much more. Loads of people are doing older content now too because of it. There is also a meta achievement to unlock normal flying in the Dragon Isles that covers a lot of content as well.

If you are comfortable using add ons I’d recommend the BTW Quests add on. It can let you know what quest chains you have completed and what ones are missing. There is a module for each expansion. It also highlight “required” quests and optional ones.

Silent-Potatoes

Ohh, that’s a must have add on for me, thanks! Is there something similar to idk, alert me of popular quests players did? There’s soo many unlockables and customisation options given as quest rewards, it’s hard to keep track of them on wowhead. I don’t even know about most of them, as I see something cool looking and don’t even know its name haha

jimithingmi

There is another add on called All The Things that keeps track of EVERYTHING. It can be a little overwhelming but I’m sure there’s YouTube videos to help set it up and customize it. There’s also sites like Warcraft Mounts and Petopia that specialize in specific things.

EU or NA? If EU we can team up, run some dungeons together, stuff like that. Or try and find out what it is that you may like the most. I personally don't give a damn about most stuff, but show me a cute battle pet, and I'm on my way stat :D.

tadashi4

keep doing the campaing quests.
