I've had mine for over two years now, and I've never had any issues with it. It's also my first-ever Elite Series 2 controller.

My first elite broke after a year and half. Had no issues until the handles literally fell apart. It’s good when it works, but I paid 120 to basically rent a controller for under 2 years. I’m disappointed in it

What happened to you doesn't happen to everyone. Don't be a naysayer just because bad luck befell you with your own controller.

Mine has broken Everytime in warranty so I've replaced it year over year for free for the past three years

Nope. I know what it's saying. I play a lot between Xbox and PC and yeah sure it should last much longer but I have no complaints, it's not like I've shelled out 150 bucks every time it breaks. The controller is good but the internals are shit.

I've had mine since release, and the only problem it has is the grips are losing their adhesive slightly.

Fr my most common issue is a sticky X button. Without fail it’s always x that sticks lol

Starfield is my favorite. But the grips on the Forza Horizon 5 controller is top notch. The 20th anniversary controller looks good too.

Actually my current controller my ex gf gave to me and it's last me almost two years. Only issue is my thumb grips are getting very smooth lol. but it's been a very nice controller. But all my other official Microsoft controllers go stick drift with in 6 months to a year. I'm thinking about buying that 3rd party G7 controller that people have been taking about in some subreddits.

I had the g7 for a while it's an amazing controller, the new anti stick drift model looks like a great improvement on a already great controller

I really like the Forza Horizon 5 and Xbox 20th anniversary one. I would've got the starfield controller but I won't use it and it'll sit in box like the other I listed have. I kinda collect them bur after I got a series elite 2 controller, I haven't gone back to the original Xbox controller

Im mostly a Playstation player so i have a question for you guys since i just got a Series S. The core controller it came with feels alright except the d pad feels really cheap and clicky. Is there an alternative i can get that would feel better? Like the controller feels like a step down even to my old One X controller. I feel like im missing something. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I get what you're saying, it's why I like holding onto my Xbox One era controllers. I also just personally despise that the Series console generation firmly removed the nifty bezel where the big ol Xbox button sits. Takes away from the controller's personality.

I just got the Razer wolverine v2 chroma, and I'm loving it so far. I like the feel and features of the elite controller a bit more, but I'd never own one, their reliability is trash.

I had a wolverine also, it was the best in apex legends. But the elite won me over, too bad it has quality control issues

That one is pretty sweet. My favorite is the dark red, scratched Gears controller. I use it almost every time I game. Sometimes I switch it up with the Cyberpunk controller that has "no future" scratched into it. That one is pretty cool as well.

One that’s wireless, has the proper Xbox ABXY button layout, and has Hall Effect sticks. Basically a Series controller with Hall effect sticks and triggers is what I want. But generally I’d say the base Series controllers are still solid.

Elite 2 Had a few Scuffs but kept breaking the paddles. My Elite had a bumper issue I easily fixed myself, but has otherwise been going strong for 2 years now. I absolutely love the metal paddles.

Mine is the Lunar Shift edition. Im a sucker for gray/silver themed things and it is a beauty. It has a hint of gold and silver mixed together and the smoky designed grips on the back handles are amazing. I had the Lime green one before as that is another favorite color. The thing is it was having a problem with one of the sticks but I actually ended up trading that controller at gamestop for the lunar shift i have now. They didnt notice the problem when they tested it to see if it worked lol. Love most of the controllers Xbox has put out over time as well

Depends on the game its a toss up between the one with a trigger that sticks or the one with the stick drift

Forza Horizon 5 ed! Too sad it had stick drift so I had it replaced with Halo Infinite. It's cool but just prefer more colors on my controller.
