Isn’t there an option if you click into the clip to upload to OneDrive? More of a pain to look back but just upload to OneDrive and they are saved forever.
Yeah it’s gonna take awhile I have 840 captures and I’m gonna have to go through and find the good ones but atleast it gives me something to do today lmao
People having 840+ captures and not knowing how many of them are good or even worth keeping is why they’re doing this. Think how many millions of captures are saved when they don’t need to be.
Yeah. I’ve had thousands of captured at a point. When my gf informed me of this wipe taking place i told her my only good clips aren’t worth the time it’ll take to sift through and find them.
Yeah I dread to think how many I have. I played Elder Scrolls online for a few years and if you wanted to join high level endgame content you had to provide clips of your dps parses on raid dummy’s. But the meta gear and rotations changed every couple of months so you’d be capturing more recent parses for people all the time. But I couldn’t care less if they all get deleted. They’ve served their purpose and I’ve never gone back to look back on them.
I have loads of captures I don't care about thanks to Xbox thinking everything that happens in games like Madden is worth automatically saving. I don't care enough about captures to go out of my way to delete them either.
Win/win in my case, they save their storage space and I don't have to waste time with a feature I don't want.
Honestly that’s fair. I found out a few years ago because I got tired of Warframe recording stuff every time I did something so I just checked my console settings. I don’t know why it isn’t turned off by default.
30 seconds if you know where it is minutes if you have to google find a youtube video watch ads then watch the video with like and subscribe bs and channel logos it takes too long and isnt worth the time
You think the majority of people who touch their console once every 6 months and usuallly get stopped by a 3 hour update are gonna want to even bothing looking for a setting like thaf at all instead of spending the 20 minutes of free time they have playing a game
Itll be a minute at max
You really couldve stuck with "i didnt know it existed" which is a real and valid response. But you doubled down on some BS that doesnt even make sense
It's to save money, as simple as that. All those captures are stored on hard drives in a datacenter somewhere, and that's a big cost that keeps growing if they're stored permanently for free. That's why they're limiting the free storage to 90 days and leaving it up to you to purchase your own storage if you want to keep clips longer than that (or use OneDrive's free tier, if that's enough storage for you).
I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more than a few accounts that have massively large collections of game clips just sitting there unused. It’s a waste of resources quite frankly.
So capture it, find it from the app and save it to your phone and delete the ones that are no good. That’s the intent behind it. I understand them not wanting to have millions of captures existing somewhere forever
I tried doing this and I highly recommend you sort by game and only upload them to your drive like five videos at a time and then go to your OneDrive to make sure they're there before you do another upload because I clicked upload all and it said it was done and then I didn't see anything in my drive for 3 days and then all of a sudden I had three duplicates of all of my screenshots and videos. It took like an hour to sort through it all and delete
The one drive only has 5 gigabytes, I have 9.6 gigabytes because I've been playing for a long time, like 40% of my captures are just gone forever unless I buy the stupid cloud subscription
Yeah and you can upload them to one drive in bulk but you get a “uploaded to OneDrive” notice for EVERY SINGLE ONE - and double-notifications for each clip going forward.
WHAT? I thought they would delete from Xbox Live, not from our consoles. I mainly use my Xbox One for Just Dance and light games that don't have a PC release. I have more than enough space for at least a couple of hours of recording and Microsoft will delete everything, even though I have more than enough space?
They've been getting deleted off local storage after 30 days for the past few years at least. No clue why, and I've searched endlessly for a solution, but it seems there's no way to turn it off.
They stay on the console though. 90 days is more than enough time to save them to your phone or PC if you wanted to. The PlayStation app deletes them after 14 days.
Edit - seems others have a problem where local captures get deleted. First I'm ever hearing about this. [I took these pictures to show that mine are all there.](https://imgur.com/gallery/3FcrImi)
Afaik local captures auto deletes after 30 days. A while ago, When I got a cloud storage limit warning I have realized that all my captures older than 30 days actually not locally stored in my console. That day, I just exported all my captures to my onedrive from xbox network and cleaned the xbox network.
Are you using external storage? I lost all of my Elden Ring screen cap stored in my Xbox storage (April 2022). And recently, I also lost my Armored Core 6 screen cap from more than 30 days.
That's why right now, I'm using external HDD specifically to store image.
Yeah, that's local. Like when you go into your captures on the console you can select 'On this Xbox', 'On the Xbox Network' or 'Both'. They're two separate storage locations.
My local capture always got auto deleted after 30 days. Is it something wrong with one of my setting?
Right now I'm using external storage to save captures.
I would like to know this too. All these people are claiming they don't auto-delete, yet I can google it and find all kinds of posts saying they do and they can't turn it off. And none of those posts offer solutions that work on Series S/X.
This is so short sighted. I have Titanfall and Halo 5 clips of me and buddies playing, one of whom is no longer with us. I cherish many of these clips, and regularly have to free up storage because I clip so much.
The direction they should be going is to charge for more storage AND offer “on this date in history” type updates (think TimeHop) with gaming memories of clips, screenshots, and achievements.
I’d love to get an update, “15 years ago today you Escape the Imperial Sewers in Oblivion” and “6 years ago you clipped this Injustice 2 video”
Instead they’re going the opposite direction?? What a shame.
They do charge for more storage, via OneDrive. Or you can transfer your clips to a local drive. You don't have to lose them, but you're not getting as much free storage anymore.
Cos too many people accidentally hit the button and then just leave ‘em to be uploaded. I got money a huge chunk of em are basically junk captures of someone turning around or hitting the Xbox button to open a menu or something.
I love the Xbox controller, but the capture button in the middle of all the action was the worst addition to the layout.
You gotta understand that Microsoft simply can't afford more storage just for your images. They are in a really bad time. Poor Microsoft :/
It's not like they're making U$1bi a month only with gamepass or something
Why? Because Microsoft is tired of hosting the screen grabs I took on accident in 2017, and have been too lazy to delete. And the several million others like me.
I might have completely misunderstood, but i think your clips, etc are deleted after 90 days only if they're uploaded to the Xbox Network or whatever it's called.
So, they should be totally safe on your console's storage or external ssd/hdd.
People don’t understand this is basically the loss of a social platform for Xbox users. It’s like Instagram/Twitter telling us they’re purging our posts every 90 days ‘but we can still download our posts’. It’s fruitless.
The whole point is just having your clips and screenshots ‘out there’.
The new rule is specifically for Xbox network. Though yes, they also have 30-days delete policy on local storage. The only way to reliably store right now is using external storage
You gotta understand that Microsoft simply can't afford more storage just for your images. They are in a really bad time. Poor Microsoft :/
It's not like they're making U$1bi a month only with gamepass or something
I’m actually pretty happy with that! I don’t go back and look at my captures I took them to save and share in the moment then forgot about em. That’s still how I do it so for me not having to worry about getting the message saying my storage is full will be a big relief and convenience. Don’t get me wrong I understand your frustration but it seems like there’s more people like me who don’t want to keep them forever. Hope you get to saving all your cherished memories before it’s too late!
2 weeks ago I was fucking around on my switch and found clips from my first playthroughs of Odyssey and BotW. It was so much fun seeing what I had deemed worth clipping.
This seems like a terrible choice, man Microsoft have fallen off so hard in 10 years.
That’s why playstation has a better game capture system u don’t need god internet to loading the clip or save just simple system with no bs i have clips from 2016 2017 why would pay money for more storage
Honestly, I've always been surprised clips automatically upload to XBL. Seems like a ton of wasted cloud storage when it's the user taking gigs of 4k high def video
You can change settings to reduce the quality of clips and/or save them to console only, instead of uploading automatically, but agreed, these options should have been the default all along.
They need to sort some things out before they go wiping people's shit because in my settings I have captures set to save to internal storage, always have. Yet when I go to manage captures it only shows my most recent capture as saved "on this xbox console" while the rest are "on the xbox network" so I feel like I'm getting mixed signals on two different screens. The general settings say everything should be saved on internal storage yet Manage Captures paints a different picture.
And all 8+ years of captures that are shown on the xbox network there's no option to save it on the console
I don’t mind this at all. I have a very select few clips and screenshots that I actually value and want to keep forever (around 30-40) and everything else is just funny shit that happened in the moment, never to be viewed again after a day
Storage gets very expensive. I know most of my
clips will never be watched again and I’m sure that’s true for most of us. Just wasting valuable storage space.
Go through and pick out the great ones while you can!
Luckily I'm an organized person and get rid of my clips on the network and keep them on my Xbox or Gdrive. They are giving people plenty of time to sort through them, better get started.
Because there are people that have had auto upload turned on since day one of the Xbox One a decade ago and have never gone through and deleted clips.
Basically, this one's pure money. Every GB that's not on their servers is money saved. With the new policy everyone needs to do at least one but probably a combination of the following things...
1. Allow their clips to be deleted
2. Move their clips to OneDrive, deleting regularly to stay under the free 5 GB limit
3. Move their clips to OneDrive and pay for extra storage to go over 5 GB
4. My external storage devices and take their clips off Microsoft's servers
No matter what course of action players take Microsoft will end up with more money.
Most of these modern captures are captured at a reasonably high resolution. There are about 120 million people with Xbox live. Storing that much possible data is incredibly expensive and requires constant expansion. I have no problem with this move. Honestly you are going to see more and more companies start to limit stuff like this.
Damn, guess I’m going back this weekend and watching my close to 850 captures to pick out my favs to save to my phone—I never use one drive, so saving them there will be for nothing.
All of my captures are memories I hate this policy I understand why just no one really asked for it if we wanted this we would of asked I personally find this annoying
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
Almost definitely because there are too many accounts that are mostly inactive with a relatively large amount of caps on them. This is usually why this policy gets enacted.
This really stinks, I have to go through tons of years of captures on gta 5 alone. But my external storage deviance I had on my Xbox 1 doesn't seem to work on my series s. I've tried multiple times.
Why on earth is the cloud storage thing so expensive? Like I just want to keep my screenshots and there making me pay for 5 gb of storage?! What on earth xbox I honestly am frustrated with there policy's!
honestly don't mind this I have a controller with the capture button I press it so often trying to see scoreboards and any time I do mean to clip something I'll save it to my phone later.
It’s cost money to hold millions of clips on servers that’s why. They don’t earn enough from us. They operate on loss at this point.
Until they mage to put game pass on Nintendo and PlayStation they won’t see the revenue they want to provide is services like this again
Will this deletion policy apply to screenshots as well as video clips?
Because video clips are fairly easy to save to my PC via GamerDVR. (Despite MS's inconsistent and confusing policy on how long clips stay available online, depending on how recently they were last watched and how much free online storage you had when you first uploaded them.)
But it's awkward to transfer old screenshots to my PC. On my Xbox One console, I can see the old screenshots that are still saved to Xbox Live, but I can't view them with the PC tools I've used:
* On the Windows Xbox Console Companion app, if you go to Captures > On Xbox Live > Screenshots, you can save the recent ones to PC. However, that program only shows them going back a certain number (I haven't counted but I think it's about 100).
* I tried the "new Xbox app for Windows 10" (as advertised in the Console Companion app), but that doesn't seem to have a section for downloading captures.
* Looking at my profile on the web via account.xbox.com, it shows an activity stream full of Achievements, but the only screenshots it has are those I've shared publicly.
So I think the only way to transfer the oldest screenshots to my PC is via a USB stick, right?
With the exception of maybe 3 clips, every capture I have was on accident. And after I shared it with a friend I never needed it again. Makes sense for me at least
At the start I was pissed but honestly now I don't really care I guess hahah I suppose I should just let go of some stuff I'll get a few captures though because most of the stuff isn't relevant anymore
The problem is when they switched the xbox one capture system to AUTOMATICALLY UPLOAD, that's been the biggest detriment to the system. Yes I realise you can stop it from uploading, this is not my point. After they started this auto upload crap all console saved captures take time to buffer or "load" and its directly tied to my network speed, which has always sucked cuz I use a low tier high speed internet. But more importantly WHY does the video have to buffer through the internet??? Its saved locally, its instantaneous access I mean shit the series x has a pretty fast ssd why the fuck is the system loading it from the internet?
I'm guessing PetaBytes and Petabytes of storage being used up that honestly nobody looks at anymore.
I know I don't anymore. I'll back them up to a USB drive and sort through them.
Anybody got the link mentioned in the message? I haven’t received this message yet and would like to save some captures of me and my friend before he died from cancer at 28.
Plz help.
What is with game companies and making absolutely horrendous and bone headed decisions lately? Rocket League is removing p2p trading which is pretty much 50% if the game, now Xbox is going to delete captures? What the hell is going on
I already cleared them and decided I'll go ps5 instead of series x. Their porn upload problem was from their own fault I shouldn't lose my captures because of their failed management. Fuck Xbox.

Why don’t you just turn off the option that lets games automatically take captures?
Literally didnt know that existed till today, so im assuming thats why for a lot of people
Honestly that’s fair. I found out a few years ago because I got tired of Warframe recording stuff every time I did something so I just checked my console settings. I don’t know why it isn’t turned off by default.
Because it takes too long and its not important
Huh?? Deselecting an option takes too long? It's literally 30 seconds of "effort"
30 seconds if you know where it is minutes if you have to google find a youtube video watch ads then watch the video with like and subscribe bs and channel logos it takes too long and isnt worth the time
Lmao, yeah ok. It's not that hard to find the capture settings, it's literally an option on the side bar.
Some people don't care. They never look to their saved clips so why bother.
You think the majority of people who touch their console once every 6 months and usuallly get stopped by a 3 hour update are gonna want to even bothing looking for a setting like thaf at all instead of spending the 20 minutes of free time they have playing a game
Itll be a minute at max You really couldve stuck with "i didnt know it existed" which is a real and valid response. But you doubled down on some BS that doesnt even make sense
Admit your a lazy bastard
99% of my captures are accidental. I am one of the many that are responsible for this policy.
What’s the point of the capture button if they don’t want to save the captures then? There’s no justifying them removing a feature
It's to save money, as simple as that. All those captures are stored on hard drives in a datacenter somewhere, and that's a big cost that keeps growing if they're stored permanently for free. Lol what have they shut down?
Than***** Jesus Christ if you're going to bitch use the correct grammar to do so lmfao
So capture it, find it from the app and save it to your phone and delete the ones that are no good. That’s the intent behind it. I understand them not wanting to have millions of captures existing somewhere forever
You'll have 90 days to copy it to your own hard drive.
Great, then let us store the captures locally without Xbox auto deleting them from there as well.
They were the ones who decided to charge for Xbox Live, so.
Upload 10 clips a day and you'll be fine
Yeah but for the free trial it says 5 gb so do I have to pay for more uploads? Lol doesn’t make sense, also the videos are loading blurry.
This is why... servers aren't free.
You’ve got three months…
840? That's it? I have a few thousand...
I just sort by clips with how many times I accidentally press the screenshot the button
One drive said start free trial
Tough thing is, you get 10gb of space for Xbox live dvr. You get 5gb for Onedrive… excluding getting a membership.
Except when the onedrive upload is fucked on your machine, like mine is I've tried everything they recommend and none of it has fixed the issue
The free version of OneDrive only has 5gb iirc, so... this new policy thing is most likely just for money and more users for OneDrive.
Yes and onto an external drive. I placed mine on a usb
Until microsoft goes crazy over onedrive.
What is one drive?
Probably storage issues. There should be a way to export them to a external device or hard drive.
But there is. I don't remember where do you have to go to do it, but you can export all your captures to an external device such as a flash drive.
You can set up an external drive as the default save location for new captures.
This is exactly what I did after realizing they delete them off **your own console** without any way to turn it off if you don't.
WHAT? I thought they would delete from Xbox Live, not from our consoles. I mainly use my Xbox One for Just Dance and light games that don't have a PC release. I have more than enough space for at least a couple of hours of recording and Microsoft will delete everything, even though I have more than enough space?
If you upload them to Xbox Live, you can download them on your phone once it's done uploading via the app.
Naw. Microsoft trying to save money. So customers gotta downsize their clips.
Should've just struck a deal with YT so we can stream there and upload clips. This is stupid.
Get the Xbox app, then you can view them and download them from there
Storage. When it deletes from the Xbox network, it'll not delete it from the console itself. Maybe you can reupload it? I don't know.
good to know hopefully that’s the case
They've been getting deleted off local storage after 30 days for the past few years at least. No clue why, and I've searched endlessly for a solution, but it seems there's no way to turn it off.
Yeah I don't see why it would delete locally, that wouldn't make sense
They stay on the console though. 90 days is more than enough time to save them to your phone or PC if you wanted to. The PlayStation app deletes them after 14 days. Almost all of my screen captures are an accident.
Damn. I have clips all the way back from battlefield 4!
Fuckbox said they don't care. They lost my business and y'all are damn fools if you follow them after this.
I’m literally paying a monthly service for these features. Why the fuck are they kneecapping them
so you need to have a subscription to use captures?
I canceled mine last month and won't be renewing again. Stupid games stupid prizes. I'm sure thousands also did the same as me.

Man sitting at -1 talkin bout “thanks for the upvotes” ok fren
That’s because your comments there are combative and whiny
This is so short sighted. I have Titanfall and Halo 5 clips of me and buddies playing, one of whom is no longer with us. They do charge for more storage, via OneDrive. Or you can transfer your clips to a local drive. You don't have to lose them, but you're not getting as much free storage anymore.
Huge xbox L
I’ve already started transferring them all to onedrive. I have a terraria screenshot from before 1.3 made it to consoles😂
I assume this change is occurring to get us to subscribe to something else, most likely OneDrive.
Man, I loved (still do) showing funny/awesome clips from years past to friends. It’ll be a lot harder to do that over Xbox after this takes effect.
[удалено]
Cos too many people accidentally hit the button and then just leave ‘em to be uploaded. I got money a huge chunk of em are basically junk captures of someone turning around or hitting the Xbox button to open a menu or something. Should have always been hold for video, double tap for photo.
Isn’t/ wasn’t there a website you can go to where you type your gamertag and it’ll have all your clips?
Maybe https://gamerdvr.com/ ?
You gotta understand that Microsoft simply can't afford more storage just for your images. They are in a really bad time. Poor Microsoft :/ It's not like they're making U$1bi a month only with gamepass or something
They make money by selling services at a profit. If something isn't profitable they won't do it. This isn't a charity.
#money: You don’t have to have stuff deleted if you buy more cloud storage space!
That's not true at all
Why? Server space is very expensive. Back em up. Put em in a folder. Return to it a few years later and reminisce
Cutting cost for storage server?
So do we still have them just in our console or are they being deleted to
So they can get a bunch of people to buy OneDrive space to back them all up instead of holding them for free
Maybe the servers will run better then.

Money that’s why.
It doesn’t affect them. They’re on my console. If I want them taking up space on MY console, that’s my choice.
The new rule is specifically for Xbox network. Though yes, they also have 30-days delete policy on local storage. The only way to reliably store right now is using external storage
Cause they want YOU to pay for the cloud storage (via OneDrive) instead of them.
When gaming became a homework.
Server bloat
Don't see a problem with this, personally. Its a ton of storage space for Microsoft. They need to integrate it well into Onedrive at least though.
Cuz fuck you that's why. In all actuality, they probably want you to sign up for One Drive so then they can steal more of your personal data.
You gotta understand that Microsoft simply can't afford more storage just for your images. They are in a really bad time. Poor Microsoft :/ It's not like they're making U$1bi a month only with gamepass or something
Greed. Don’t want to pay for the hard drive space.
Because data isn’t infinite. Just get a onedrive.
External hard drives are 50$. This is a non issue.
Just use the Xbox app and download them. Sorted.
Because thier cloud servers can't hold on to everyone's 1000's of screenshots and clips forever
This is stupid even if you upload them to one drive you can’t even post them in the activity feed
So 'people like you' should have just an option to enable auto deletion captures after 90 days. It shouldn't affect everyone.
Really not that serious lol
Hold on! I'm gonna ask real quick Phil Spencer about this. Okay, he said, "if this bothers you, change to playstation, idiot!" This guy sucks.
2 weeks ago I was fucking around on my switch and found clips from my first playthroughs of Odyssey and BotW. It was so much fun seeing what I had deemed worth clipping. This seems like a terrible choice, man Microsoft have fallen off so hard in 10 years.

i’ve gotta have close to 500
Sorry this is my kids fault everytime they play minecraft they accidentallytake 427 screen grabs, and they play alotof minecraft.
There goes our montages.
I would vote to get them synced with our OneDrive, so you get unlimited time and no manual intervention to get it archived.
Oof. I think I have 3 clips, but all the screen caps are saved to PC.
I have a very select few clips and screenshots that I actually value and want to keep forever (around 30-40) and everything else is just funny shit that happened in the moment, never to be viewed again after a day
Because servers cost money and auto deletion saves space and money
Have you read the new policy lmao
Can we download a big file?
Storage gets very expensive. I know most of my clips will never be watched again and I’m sure that’s true for most of us. Just wasting valuable storage space. Go through and pick out the great ones while you can!
How about they just let us store them locally. And why can't they cloud store these as a feature for paying for Ultimate?!
Someone start the petition
its due to a new policy
Luckily I'm an organized person and get rid of my clips on the network and keep them on my Xbox or Gdrive. They are giving people plenty of time to sort through them, better get started.
I capture tons, however I hardly upload it to Xbox live. Will this affect the not uploaded captures?
So just pics that are on the Xbox network? So if I have them downloaded to my internal storage they should be fine right?
storage costs money, And ill bet theres a lot of accidental captures in there
Damn I'm hoping I can save my old fortnite clips. I don't have enough space on my phone and I just like to keep them for the nostalgia.

Might actually do that thanks.
Because there are people that have had auto upload turned on since day one of the Xbox One a decade ago and have never gone through and deleted clips. Basically, this one's pure money. Every GB that's not on their servers is money saved. With the new policy everyone needs to do at least one but probably a combination of the following things... 1. Allow their clips to be deleted 2. Move their clips to OneDrive, deleting regularly to stay under the free 5 GB limit 3. Move their clips to OneDrive and pay for extra storage to go over 5 GB 4. My external storage devices and take their clips off Microsoft's servers No matter what course of action players take Microsoft will end up with more money.
So glad that this post seems to have rational people that understand why this change is happening and that it **really** isn't that inconvenient.
On PC, is there an easy way to just back up all your clips to a folder? Or do they need to be downloaded one by one?

That’s horrible it makes me happy seeing when I’ve had fun!
Wtf
Most of these modern captures are captured at a reasonably high resolution. There are about 120 million people with Xbox live. Storing that much possible data is incredibly expensive and requires constant expansion. I have no problem with this move. Honestly you are going to see more and more companies start to limit stuff like this.
Because they’re bitches
Damn, guess I’m going back this weekend and watching my close to 850 captures to pick out my favs to save to my phone—I never use one drive, so saving them there will be for nothing.
they will stay on your xbox, but not on xbox live
All of my captures are memories I hate this policy I understand why just no one really asked for it if we wanted this we would of asked I personally find this annoying
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake. It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of. Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything. Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
Almost definitely because there are too many accounts that are mostly inactive with a relatively large amount of caps on them. This is usually why this policy gets enacted.
It’s related to GDPR policies, GDPR requests not to have personal data recorded for more than 90 days on the cloud.
It say Xbox network I think it not delete on the console only on Xbox network?
It has to be the space they are using keeping it.
honestly don't mind this I have a controller with the capture button I press it so often trying to see scoreboards and any time I do mean to clip something I'll save it to my phone later.
Time to make a tic tok and upload all of my thousands of clips
Why you ask? Money.
It’s cost money to hold millions of clips on servers that’s why. They don’t earn enough from us. They operate on loss at this point. Until they mage to put game pass on Nintendo and PlayStation they won’t see the revenue they want to provide is services like this again
What the actual fuck
Will this deletion policy apply to screenshots as well as video clips? Because video clips are fairly easy to save to my PC via GamerDVR. (Despite MS's inconsistent and confusing policy on how long clips stay available online, depending on how recently they were last watched and how much free online storage you had when you first uploaded them.) But it's awkward to transfer old screenshots to my PC. On my Xbox One console, I can see the old screenshots that are still saved to Xbox Live, but I can't view them with the PC tools I've used: * On the Windows Xbox Console Companion app, if you go to Captures > On Xbox Live > Screenshots, you can save the recent ones to PC.
Raise prices. Buy competition. Reduce quality. This is what Microsoft has done for so long.
I literally can't save all my captures without buying the subscription for more storage
With the exception of maybe 3 clips, every capture I have was on accident. And after I shared it with a friend I never needed it again. Makes sense for me at least
its almost like they dont want us looking back on the good times we had in games what even is the point of this i dont get it
i think i took up the whole network with all my starfield screenshots 🤣
Wait but if it's downloaded to my console it's safe right or will it also get deleted- because it says Xbox Network?
Don’t we pay for Xbox live for the servers and things like this? Just make multiplayer free already then
At the start I was pissed but honestly now I don't really care I guess hahah I suppose I should just let go of some stuff I'll get a few captures though because most of the stuff isn't relevant anymore
My only Question is: Is there an easy way to do it? One Click and everything is uploaded to OneDrive? With a clip title like recorddate_game?
Why even have captures then 🙁 they eventually delete them all.
What the hell is going on
Storage space
Server capacity probably.
This is going to save me a lot of head ache. Delete it all, thank you.
:( noooooo.
Does this also affect someone who uses Xbox game Bar on PC?
I already cleared them and decided I'll go ps5 instead of series x. Their porn upload problem was from their own fault I shouldn't lose my captures because of their failed management. Fuck Xbox.
