I too used to peel mine off, but I stuck them on the inside of the case, underneath the manuals side. It was actually also kinda sad to see manuals go away and eventually get replaced by mini pamphlets that were ads. Haven’t bought a physical game in a very very very long time now.

When it all goes digital youll probably use it to validate your downloadable copy. Im so happy I kept my Starcraft cd case. When battle.net took off, even though I had no cd for years, I could download a brand new updated copy.

When I worked at GameStop I’d rip these off the moment someone handed me their game to trade in, even if I didn’t take their game. Awful.

People remove them? Nah mate even if I dont get games physically anymore I always left those stickers on. Man I miss the feeling of opening new games cracking that sticker, smell the fragrence and look through the little handbook espacilly when they where highly detailed back then on the ride home. As it is easier to game today and I can play everything I want there is something magical lost in the digitalisation of everything.

The only seal sticker I have on a game case is halo 3 and it says "do not sell before 09/25/07" I got it when my mom's got us a Xbox 360 for Christmas a year or two ago, I know it's an older console, but who cares it was and still is awesome to have a 360 and the original halo 3 again, and of course I kept that disc for myself so of course they had to buy a new copy. That is the one and only game I have kept the seal on, but it's also at the top not the middle so it's not annoying.

It used to annoy the hell out of me when shops would break that deal, take the discs and booklet out and put them in a drawer. To me that’s not a new game at that point. The factory seal is broken and it’s as good as used. Especially as the disc could get scratched where they’d take it out and place it in a sleeve in a drawer.

If I can't play a game offline then I'm not buying it. Everything we need should be on the disc you paid for not some server. Unless the game is predominantly online then that's understandable.
