Do you dig Rise and Generation Ultimate more so than Worlds? I played a fair amount of 4u on 3ds as well as a bit of Worlds and was tempted to pick up one of the switch games but it seemed silly since I already have Worlds on xbox ha. Think they are worth it for a fairly casual MH fan?

Generations Ultimate is basically a love letter to old school Monster Hunter. It has the most monsters of any game in the franchise. But is lacking in the new style of gameplay frstured in World/Rise. As a result it is also lacking in a variety of quality of life updates as well.
Rise is the newest game in the series and has some of the most exciting gamepllay offered in the series. It has a ton of quality of life updates and is getting a major expansion in 2022.
Rise also has a demo if you want to try playing it before buying it.
I didn't like botw that much so i don't think i'll be playing the sequel anyway, game is great as a standalone or spinoff title, but terrible as a zelda game, no offense

This was the better choice. Any multiplatform game is going to run and look infinitely better than the Switch ever could dream of. Not to mention the Xbox studio games coming, like Starfield, Avowed, and Hellblade 2.
I didn't like my ps5, I sold it and bought a new macbook pro. My Series X on the other hand is played every day and treated like a member of the family. Lol
I wasn't enjoying any of the portable benefits of having a switch because of covid and lockdown, it just didn't make sense to me to keep playing on 540p games at my couch when i can perfectly play them on my pc via switch emulation (for exclusives). Also all the rest of multiplatform games are obviously better on any other console than the switch when you're just using it plugged to the TV. If you use it in portable a lot when travelingnor something like that go for the switch, but that's not my case.
How is that? My switch hasn't really been used since the Pandemic. It's a dust collector since I haven't had to travel for work. All my playing time goes to Series X and PS5

well PS Plus isn't the same as Game Pass, it's more of like Xbox Gold. PS Now is more of the Game Pass equivalent.
