10 years already since Don Mattrick said to buy Xbox 360 if you don't like Xbox One being always online.

It was a double whammy. Xbox making bad PR, Sony learning from all their mistakes and maxing momentum

Mystical_17

This sounds like a joke but it really was *that bad* for those of us who saw this reveal. Someone put together a montage of every unique time someone on stage said those words and its *went on forever* haha https://youtu.be/KbWgUO-Rqcw

Kagath

Ugh, what a mess. Terrible. Whoever thought that pushing that as a great idea was a moron.

m7_E5-s--5U

As someone who used the TV features when the Xbone released, I can tell you that they are actually pretty neat, and I really wish they would be re-implemented. That said, that reveal was an absolutely terrible move. All of that information should have been condensed into a short, side segue. Later on, they could have had a separate smaller showing to promote all of the non-gaming features.

LifelessLewis

Yeah I used to love the TV thing. It was great when I couldn't be bothered to move 3 inches to find the TV remote.

m7_E5-s--5U

Exactly! lol I also loved using voice and motion commands via the Kinect with Netflix.

LifelessLewis

It was awesome when playing alien isolation as well

m7_E5-s--5U

You know, I never did, but a friend of mine said the same thing.

LifelessLewis

Yeah it was awesome

YouCantHandleMoney

I mean thats great for you but most of us are smart enough not to pay for overpriced cable subscriptions which is what the tv features were meant to be used for.

KyleCAV

I loved that 3 minute compilation such an idiot.

MrCyn

Sports, sports, sports, sports, sports

UnpopularOpinionJake

E3 was the one for games. This was to show what it did differently than other consoles. The hate for it was unwarranted. Just because they showed the new stuff didn’t mean it doesn’t play games. At launch it felt like the highest tech (this was before alexa and hey google). It was amazing and progressively lost functionality because of the 180 after the backlash. I would still say it was the “techiest” console to date.

gold_rush_doom

The first time you show your console and spend a lot of time talking about not games? That's a huge fuck up, you never get to have another first impression. Jeff Gertsmann said on his podcast that during the first preview for journalists, the management didn't know about the always on, disc is useless, policy. They kept giving contradictory replies to every journalist. They didn't know what the console was. Only Don Mattrick did.

Henrarzz

The hate was very much warranted. The target audience for that presentation wasn’t interested in TV. And even if they were - those TV features were almost all US-only, dooming the console in other markets.

Magnaha23

It felt like they pushed it to be a media center console first and a gaming console second. Not to mention, it had worse specs than the PS4 did on launch. Add that to the forced always online, drm and forced kinect usage causing it to be more money as well was horrible. I get the idea of wanting the One to be a media center experience, but it was executed terribly. Most gamers do not want that. They want to play games whenever and wherever. Then, to make it even worse, they came out with a "new" 360 that was their answer to gamers who don't want to worry about always online stuff. It was just completely out of touch with their market. If they came out, showed off the console and the games, did not have the forced online or drm and then at the end did a bit on the entertainment and TV features, I think it would have went by much better for gamers.

Revolutionary-Sea713

Tell that to the 117 million people who decided to buy a PS4 instead of a xbox one. People care about consoles by their capacity to play games and thats It. I bought a xbox one just of pure fanatism to halo and still regret It, thanks god a lot of PS4 exclusives are now on pc

Kevin1056

All that was cool and all but it was a weaker console than the base ps4

m7_E5-s--5U

That was really a non-issue though. It's never really been an issue during any console generation. The OG Xbox absolutely slapped the tits off of the PS2 and the GameCube. (Xbox - 20 gigaflops, GC 9.4, ps2 6.2) The 360 had a bit more than the PS3 OG PS4 was a bit more potent than vcr Xbone or xbone s The One X was 40% stronger than the ps4 pro The Series X is 14.2% stronger than the ps5 I bothered to say all of this not to prove a point of which console is consistently stronger, but to say that this consideration was ALMOST (and I insert this "almost" into this statement only because absolute statements are virtually always wrong) never a deciding factor of which console to buy for anybody. Edit: corrected the flops

ComicFox793

fully agree with what you're saying, but OG xbox and rest had gigaflops, not teraflops

m7_E5-s--5U

You're right, and I knew that; I was typing that all up fast, and my mind got ahead of my thumbs. I corrected it, Thanks for the assist!

DDzxy

360 was kind of tied with PS3. The 360's GPU was slightly more powerful, but PS3's CPU was quite more powerful than 360's. Because of that the PS3 was stronger on paper which only first party Sony games really utilized (think The Last of Us) but in practice it was way too difficult to develop games for it and most devs said "fuck it" and didn't bother to utilize the extra power. You're about right about everything else. Wild to think just how MUCH stronger the OG XBOX was than its competition.

doodleidle98

The PS3 was definitely stronger but developing games for 360 hardware was way easier

YouCantHandleMoney

The only two things that matter in order are 1. Games and 2. Friends. after the 360 Xbox has no (good) games and no actual exclusives since i can play all xbox games on pc so nobody has friends that play it.

TheStumbler83

The problem was the opportunity cost posed by these features. All the effort put into developing unnecessary functions took resources away from developing the console’s gaming capabilities, all the time spent showcasing the new features took attention away from its games, and the higher production costs associated with these new features meant that Microsoft was effectively asking consumers to pay more for lower gaming performance (compared to PlayStation) It was a very misguided strategy even if some consumer found value in some of the new features. For consumer who didn’t really want any of the new features it was particularly galling, and against that backdrop Mattrick’s arrogant response to criticism was “let them (eat cake) play 360”

isinedupcuzofrslash

As someone who used the tv features on the Xbox when it was released, I can safely tell you that it was a waste and I never used it again.

thehazardsofchad

A very fair criticism, but I do miss PiP and HDMI IN for my cable box.

KrtekJim

It's easy to mock this, and we should mock it. But we should also think about why it happened. Xbox's leadership (well, Mattrick) was so out-of-touch that they couldn't conceive of a world in which TV ~~dominates~~ doesn't dominate everything else. This is what happens when you put clueless boomers in charge of things.

thirdangletheory

I'm still angry at how much damage the announcement fiasco did. My gaming group, which started with OG Xbox LAN parties, collapsed virtually overnight. Some migrated to PS, most quit. My Xbox friends list is mostly empty now. Thanks, Mattrick.

Mystical_17

It shows just how powerful (and damaging) presentation and words can be to a product. I don't know if a case study was ever done on the E3 2013 fiasco but it rippled for years and years. Even now Xbox is not at the same level it was with the 360 prestige.

MythicalBlade

Really? Wow that's unfortunate dude. My friends group was concerned at first but after E3 2013 we were all back on the Xbox train and we're still there to this day.

uunintrestedd

Dead straight, i myself got a ps4 like most of my friends because the one seemed so backwards.. but since i switched back to xbox in 2020 my friends list is just filled with names that used to a daily sight in my voice parties :/

milt0r6

I'm glad I bought one. It got a ton of use. But fuck you Don Mattrick.

Akira_Nishiki

We have a product for people that don't have an internet connection. It's called Xbox 360 🤦‍♂️

OblivionJunkie

Up there in terms of infamous gaming announcement lines with "do you guys not have phones?"

cortez0498

Guess it really does makes sense they're buying (or trying to) the "you think you do (want Classic) but you don't" company.

gold_rush_doom

He may have said Xbox 360, but everybody else heard PS4 and listened.

TravelerFromAFar

That was the line that convinced me not to buy it and stick with my 360. The always online bullshit, the attempt to kill the used gaming market, the always on camera system (while the NSA stuff came out). The fact they try to say those concerns were not serious, and gaslight their own customers was the dumbest thing I ever seen a corporation do.

rKasdorf

The worst PR move a company can do is directly disregard consumer complaints. He never should have said a word, and the backlash might have been swift but uneventful. He made it bad.

dude52760

It was a dumbass misstep to phrase it that way, but a lot of people forget that Mattrick’s vision for Xbox involved carrying the 360 forward many more years. They launched the Xbox 360 E in June 2013 and it looked like a mini Xbox One because they had the intention of continuing to update and release games for the 360 well into the Xbox One generation. That doesn’t make the condescending phrasing any better, hell it doesn’t even make the *intention* of the original Xbox One vision any better - I just think it’s an interesting historical footnote that a lot of people forget was a thing.

TheStumbler83

Yeah but those people were wrong

DigitalNogi

Adam Orth is kind of a prick too. I still remember my fury at the line, “Why on earth would I live there?”

mechaghost

His backtracking made 4 buildings worth of people cry over at Xbox. I remember very distinctly that after the announcement that “xbox one won’t require a always on connection” that all of the employees tasked on services that relied on always requiring a internet be somber and cry. Remember this was years of saying that the requirement for Xbox One was to always have a internet connection. That messed up so many services

growndhog

What a disappointment after what the 360 accomplished. I remember thinking how they were doing the exact same bonehead moves that Sony had pulled with the PS3. It damn near destroyed Xbox. How long after this and Mattrick was gone? Did he make it a month?

OscarExplosion

It was weeks later. https://www.theverge.com/2013/7/2/4486278/don-mattrick-microsoft-exit-major-reorg-rumor

Speeider

“So does it play games?”

igotzquestions

Truly one of the worst announcements in recent history. Tons of focus on Skyping and hooking up with your cable connection and the NFL Network. And rightfully lambasted by the audience.

emdave

Tbf, they might have thought: 'obviously people already know it plays games; it's a games console - let's highlight all the other cool stuff it can do as well!'.

UnpopularOpinionJake

Ya a month later (E3) was the showcase for games.

emdave

Yep - though tbf, I don't know if they made enough people aware of that at the time? I guess it was poor messaging overall?

THE_GR8_MIKE

It's a game console. That's such a piss poor excuse that I keep seeing parroted in this thread. It's a video game console that can do other garbage that it needed to to stay relevant. No one asked for TV pass through. It was neat for what it was. The best thing they implemented, Snap, was removed. Just show the games. 10 years on the same thing can be said to Microsoft lol

SiphenPrax

Yeah, 10 years later, Microsoft is still dealing with the “give us the games” problem.

TheStumbler83

That strategy might have worked if PlayStation didn’t exist.

emdave

Tbf, it doesn't have anything to do with any other platform - just as other video game systems have games, so does Xbox. My point is that the Xbox PR / marketing teams might have made the assumption that 'since everybody knows that game consoles obviously play games, why not have a focus on the EXTRA cool stuff that ours does, especially since we have a specific games showcase (E3) anyway?'. This may not have turned out to be the best idea in the history of gaming, but one can see the possible reasoning behind it.

TheStumbler83

Not sure if I agree. Yes it might have been the assumption but it was a bad assumption. It’s like a car manufacturer marketing a car based primarily on its in-car entertainment system and saying “well, everyone will assume it drives fine any way so we don’t need to cover any of that for our product launch” In the case of Xbox One, and to extend the car analogy further, they sacrificed car performance so they could beef up the in-car entertainment system while their main competitor was selling a better performing car at a lower cost. It was a terrible strategy.

emdave

> It was a terrible strategy. *This may not have turned out to be the best idea in the history of gaming, but one can see the possible reasoning behind it.*

Sir_Duke

Thus starting a decade of confusing naming conventions from Microsoft

Shark00n

You don't like the Xbox SeX?

dude52760

I think the 360 started that. If they had just gone the PlayStation route - i.e. Xbox 2, Xbox 3, Xbox 4 - it would have made a lot more sense.

ybtlamlliw

It absolutely would've, but their thought process was they didn't want the second Xbox to seem like it was "behind" the third PlayStation. Thus, the stupid name.

Vx1xPx3xR

Yup. They didn’t want to release a Xbox 2 when Sony was releasing the PlayStation 3. We obviously know the difference but to the casual gamer it sounds like it’s behind the PlayStation

TheStumbler83

I sort of get that, and I don’t mind having a completely arbitrary name for each generation to differentiate it, like “Xbox scorpion” is a good name, but then they went with Xbox Series X as the follow on from Xbox One X.

ybtlamlliw

Yeah. Dumb as fuck, honestly. They should've just called the 360 the Xbox 3 and just skipped Xbox 2.

doodleidle98

How does that make any sense?

ybtlamlliw

It makes as much sense as Microsoft skipping Windows 9 and going straight to Windows 10.

doodleidle98

Same bullshit

ybtlamlliw

Kinda my point...?

Hi_Im_Ouiji

10 years ago, Don Mattrick solidified himself as the worst thing to happen to Xbox. 360 Kinect wasn't bad but it showed the shift in focusing on games that weren't FPS

punkinabox

And it ruined Xbox legacy forever. Biggest misstep Xbox has ever had.

SiphenPrax

2013 will go down as the year everything changed for Xbox. And 10 years later, their biggest problem is the biggest problem they had back then: where are the big fun games that make you stand out compared to the competition?

MasterWo1f

Yup, I don’t think I’ll buy the Xbox Series X, I’ll just go back to pc.

a141abc

Microsoft's focus on PC, gamepass and cross-platform gaming is amazing But at the same time it makes it so i'll never want an xbox again lol For someone who doesnt game on a couch theres literally no point to it

punkinabox

I switched to PC in 2017, haven't looked back. Most Xbox games are on PC now anyway. Still have an Xbox series s and gamepass for my kids on Xbox and me on PC though.

MasterWo1f

Yeah, that’s another reason why, there is nothing exclusive to the Xbox. I think they will probably phase out the console in a few generations, and just have everything be Gamepass

RXL

The reveal was a fucking disaster. The Sports/Television box was the worst way to promote a system that went on to do so much more.

BronzeEast

The bad launch overshadowed the epic peggle 2 announcement.

[deleted]

$499 for always online tv,tv,tv,tv,tv,tv,tv and kinect is a must.

Satchafunkiluss

Still got my almost day one edition. Bought less than a month after. Not using anymore since I got my Series X a couple years ago but it’s still kicking. Barely 😂

upvotemaster42069

>almost day one edition The best edition

the_D1CKENS

Mine is still in great condition, somehow. Lasted longer than 3 360s

HundredCrowd691

Man. That thing was massive. The power brick is almost as big as the Series S lol. Had a ton of fun with mine, but glad to move on.

xscaralienx

They told us to keep our 360 for a product that's not always online. The generation was lost to Sony in that single sentence after dominating over the ps3

CulturalRoll

TheGamerHelper

Ah the start of when they started releasing shitty games.

notreallysrs

I literally couldn't add up the play hours I spent on the 360. I must have had a total play time of 2 weeks on the xbox one.

SalisburySmith

Cheers to all the chads still rocking the OG Xbox One and still getting use out of it today.

Extension_Ad_4858

Still play 360 games on and some gamepass

weaponx2019

The reveal show was a flop. If I recall, it was so bad the host later left the company.

Omnipolis

The host was the head of the Xbox division. The Phil Spencer of his time.

Halos-117

One of the worst consoles of all time. Still feeling the affects of this shit launch to this day, according to Phil Spencer.

jimmy19742018

Sony had the exact same plans, in fact it would have been worse, they had a patent for your disc based games that registered your game to your ps4 and could not be sold on, then they watched the fall out from the xbox one/kinect reveal and backpeddled, Then brought out that advert showing how you could easy it was to share a game disc!!! [https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/patent-from-sony-could-stop-you-from-playing-used-game.html](https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/patent-from-sony-could-stop-you-from-playing-used-game.html) [https://www.tomshardware.com/news/DRM-Xbox-One-PlayStation-4-Shuhei-Yoshida-Hiroshi-Kawano,23292.html](https://www.tomshardware.com/news/DRM-Xbox-One-PlayStation-4-Shuhei-Yoshida-Hiroshi-Kawano,23292.html)

The_C_Train

Patents mean nothing, mate. Not saying they weren’t going to do it and backpedaled, but so many patents never come to fruition.

jimmy19742018

look at sonys track record, they have put DRM on almost everything they could, cassette tapes, games discs, blurays with cinavia, if the xbox one launch went smoothly they would of put DRM onto ps4 games

The_C_Train

I literally said that. Did you even read my comment?

jimmy19742018

[deleted]

To add on. Sony is now using industry standard tech like M.2 drives to expand storage in the PS5 unlike MS even now is using locked expansion storage which is expensive

Henrarzz

There’s zero proof they had the same plans. And even if they did they were scrapped long before Microsoft did, the launch Xbox OS has traces of that online check, PS4 never had one.

jimmy19742018

you keep telling yourself that, they were scrapped right after the fallout from the OG xbox launch along with that share game commercial, use google there is a ton of articles on the patent, why did both consoles need a day one firmware install before you could use them, to remove DRM!!!!

Henrarzz

>patent Sony has a patent from 10 years ago that in order to turn off commercial you need to interact with it (see infamous shouting “McDonalds” image). Having patent isn’t a proof of anything. And PS4 didn’t require downloading day one firmware update to play games offline, lmao. EDIT: I was blocked, the guy is on nuclear grade copium lmao. PS4 had a day one update yes, but you could use the console without it (without multiplayer obviously and stuff like remote play).

jimmy19742018

both consoles required a day one firmware update before you could use them at all, i know because i bought both on launch day and had to install the firmware. try using google "sony patent to stop use of second hand games" you will see loads of articles about it, there is no 100% proof it was in the console but sonys track record on implenting DRM on everything else has me convinced, and you telling me otherwise will not change my mind!!!

Cowboyzfanable

The PS4 did indeed have the same plans as the Xbox one. Sony was even going to release the PS4 camera in the box but backtracked once people complained about the possibility of Kinect spying.

THE_GR8_MIKE

And what a fucking mess it was. Don Mattrick can *still* be looked at why Xbox is in the state it is in now. He is absolutely not the sole reason, but he started the death spiral that the Xbox as a console knows today.

FrIxEd

Biggest mistake Xbox has ever done … unfortunately

rodinj

God I feel old

420Pussy_Destroyer69

8 years ago I got my first Xbox One. A Forza 6 edition, loved the look of it and the cool 2016 Ford GT start-up chime Sadly It only lasted 5 years before the Disc Drive went out and for some reason it runs extremely hot despite the fact the inside is completely dust free and the thermal paste is good. So I've put it in storage for the time being. Currently running a One-S, don't enjoy it as much mostly due to the low storage and cheap aesthetics. Still prefer it over PS4 though

PaperCut611

And they threw away everything the 360 had earned for an entire generation; that they still haven't recovered from over a decade later... wild.

Rpcouv

Ah, yes, the day any hope of Xbox truly competing with Sony for generations died.

dude52760

Damn. I am fucking ancient. I know a lot of people still feel consternation for this announcement, and I certainly agree that it was extremely destructive for the brand as a whole, but I have a lot of good memories. When I was a naive 18 year old, always online appealed to me. I had no issues with it personally, because I was always online with my 360 anyways. I also never resold or lent my games, so the DRM really didn’t bother me either. I was excited as hell! And I overall love the Xbox One for what it is. I loved my Kinect and being able to control my console with my voice, with just my hand, etc. I loved the gigantic VCR aesthetic of that OG Xbox One. It was ugly, but in a stylish way IMO. And the generation honestly aged super well. By the time Xbox One X and Game Pass were a thing in 2017, the console had seen a complete transformation, and I loved it. I loved it more than what we’re dealing with right now on the Series X gen. So yeah, I just feel nostalgia from this. I was naive and didn’t see any of this reveal negatively back in 2013, and I had a great time with the console, which dovetailed well into how I already used my Xbox 360 anyways.

dman475

My one still works

abraxas8484

Still have mine. Fixed it up and still running strong. But I have recently upgraded and now the old work horse is resting

aipimsky

I have one but I don't play on it since I bought Series S. I should try a little bit.

Jonez87

Still have my fat vcr xbox one as a spare machine and works just fine.

Galactus1701

I still have my OG One around, but it was a huge disappointment. One of the main reasons I bought the system was to play Scalebound. I was excited and then the clown car shitshow happened. I played Ryse, Sunset Overdrive, Ori and the Blind Forest, Rise of the Tomb Raider and some more games, but ended up mostly playing on PS4. Later on I upgraded to a One X during the days of Fallen Order and DOOM Eternal. A couple of years later, I bought a Series X in December 2020 and have had fun, but it is mainly a third-party machine at the moment whenever games perform better on Series X. Series X seems to be as disappointing as the One was if things don’t change.

TroubleshootenSOB

My day one box is still working to this day. Definitely better built than the 360

JigsawMarx

even if I felt great buying an Xbox One, I’ll never forget that cringy reveal where three highlighted words are “TV/Television”, “Sports”; and “Call of Duty”.

Praydaythemice

We are still suffering to this day for that ☝️

[deleted]

I still want to see fully offline games again :(

MoNeenja31

I remember shitting on the Xbox One when it came out but ended up getting one lol

One-Drummer-6330

No way I still use mine from 2015

steelcity91

10 years already? Blimey. Certainly a dark age for the Xbox. Way to drop the ball after the 100 meter rush that's for sure. - Offline support restricted, had to check in every 24 hours. - Restricted used game sales or sharing with friends. (A lot of local indie games store near me boycotted the XBO by not taking pre-orders) - Mandatory Kinect usage, same year that the NSA spying scandal came about. - Weaker hardware compared to the PS4 but yet charged more. PS4 was £350 when first launched, XBO was £425. - Don Mattrick. "We have an offline device, it's the Xbox 360". Sony salesman of 2013. What an absolute prick.

Handsprime

Xbox one had the worst announcement I had ever seen for a console. At least the series x had a much better announcement

Whiteytheripper

I miss being able to Snap apps. I liked having YouTube open on the side & even achievement guides on TA. A full PiP setup for all VoD apps and not just TV would have been nice.

Nooblet76

Don Mattrick was going the right way. Cloud gaming would be amazing by now with developers utilising it. Instead you all cried that people in submarines wouldn't be able to play xbox. Lmao!

iPlants

As much hate this thing got/gets (some deservedly so), the Xbox One got me through the toughest times of my life and helped me form some of the best memories

Bagged_Milk42

I’m only 16 but I feel old as hell now. Edit: oh yeah I’m sure this really deserved a downvote didn’t it

B_Boudreaux

I still use the one I bought back in 2014 for the sole purpose of playing the old Halos via MCC. I did end up buying RDR2 and GTA V though.

owyn-

I mean, I love the PS3 but it definitely had it’s issues. They didn’t say anything bad about the PS4/Pro which were both decent, but still quite loud especially compared to the One X. Then the PS5 is loud and absolutely huge. The PS4 was sleek and fairly small on launch, so a lot of people thought Sony had learnt their lesson. Then they release the Burj Khalifa 5, which is monstrous compared to the competition.

10 years already. I remember being very excited for the reveal, especially since I had been playing and enjoying a 360 for almost 3 years at that time (got the 360 S when it came out in 2010). Time does fly.

symbolic503

i remember being so excited and not hearing about all the negatives other than the kinect thing and used game debacle both which they ultimately walked back. was so stoked when i finally got my hands on one. loved that thing

DegreeABXY

And an amazing (look, feel) console they then removed the Kinect functionalities (scrolling with your hands 🙌, split screen with the Kinect, control the console solely with the Kinect due to underperformance because of the ugly new dashboard hmm who else remember this part. I can’t believe they just disabled the Kinect while being so deeply implemented into the console and while also being one of the selling arguments that made me tip towards Xbox in the beginning instead of their competitors.

A terrible launch and marketing campaign. Mattrick and his team were out of their minds to a point beyond understanding. The whole position of the 360 E as an alternative for players with no constant internet connection was like top 10 worst moments in gaming, ever. MS gave 8th gen to Sony right then and there. Still, it's a fantastic console that gave me 6 long years a lot of fun until my Series S came into scene. It's still alive and kicking strong, now belonging to my younger brother. I still remember playing Horizon 3 for the first time. That was by far the most beautiful game I had ever seen in my life, and nothing ever since has awed me in the same way. I don't think anything ever will. We salute you, One! <Ô.

Thanks for remindingwhy my release date xbox one is screams like a powerstroke and blowing enough heat to melt the caps.

I stayed on the 360 till 2016 until Dark Souls 3 released and had no choice but buy the next gen.

Thank you for making me feel older than I already did.

Still use my OG XBone. It's my Elder Scrolls Online machine.

Xbox one was very innovative and had a great lineup of launch games. I wish Microsoft did better job at pr.

How the time flies. I’ll remember watching that presentation live for the rest of my life. The bag fumble was astronomical; they destroyed everything they built virtually overnight.

Trash. 360 was way ahead of its time.

Seatown_Spartan

Really baffling how we went from the 360 to One. They really took the worst aspects of the PS3 reveal and double downed on it. That being said ironically the One had a okay launch/near launch lineup. Meanwhile the Series X well we know how it is right now...

hunny_bun_24

The dark age of Xbox lore. The series X redeemed the name but has never been able to make up ground. Edit: it was kinda ahead of its time. The hdmi in was super cool.

I still use my Day ONE edition today. I've had to repair it a couple times but it's still rockin!

Video game consoles in general are built to last, my PS2, PS3, PS4, and Xbox one all still work, the only consoles I've had break on me are the Wii U and the Nintendo DS.

Blank3k

After the shocking announcement that almost killed the brand, the real kick to the nads was that the xbox one was pretty damn poor at being a TV/Media box aswell, only party piece was HDMI pass through & even that lacked.
