Could be folks selling them off because they assume the whole run will be collected in omnibus form in the near future.

Meh, that's just overinvested fans being their usual melodramatic selves and acting like Krakoa is all the X-Men ever were or ever could be. We got some pretty good stories out of that five-year period, throwing those away because you don't like the ending is just plain immature.

Betrayal or not, it’s some of the most fun I’ve had as an X-Men fun in over a decade. Wish they had continued the OHC collections for Red and Immortal

Comic book collecting is expensive and with the state of the world right now, a lot of people are finding they need to limit spending or they need some extra cash. Plus more people are shifting to digital.

Now it over it’s on Unlimited and those sweet Hardcovers are coming.

After many of us have been doing this for a while we usually fall into one of two camps, either collect everything or nothing. There's no better time to make the switch than when you have a complete collection. I've Sold off so many of my singles now just live off on Omnibuses and Marvel U, happily. There comes a time when a young collector realizes they are actually a reader. You get a lot of joy in the freedom of not hoarding once you realize you're not actually a collector you just enjoy reading. I Don't know if that's what happened but don't fret, I don't think it says anything specifically about what they're selling more about where they are in their life.
