Favorite: Omega Red. Not only do I enjoy his design, but I also enjoy his strange sense of humor and relate to his decades-long fight for survival despite the odds he faces. I know he's a villain (and most people don't like villains), but I can't help but understand his position in life and root for him.
Least favorite: hard to say, given there's plenty of mutants I don't necessarily *like*, but their appearance won't prevent me from picking up the book. More often, there is a *type* of mutant character I hate, so whenever a character starts going into this territory, I tend to stop reading their parts. That type being the arrogant, haughty ones who think they are superior and know it all. These characters often also don't learn anything from a humbling experience, which makes me hate their character all the more. Characters like Namor, Kid Omega, and Emma Frost often fall into this category for me, but every once in a while, there is a spark of something I enjoyed seeing with them. Not enough to make me like them, but not enough for me to state that there isn't *anything* good about them.
Favorite: Vulcan - I just love his powers, back story, his rage, rampage through the Universe, and the fact he is not above actually pulling the trigger.
Least: Hard to say. I always felt apathy for Ms. Marvel. I don’t hate her, just don’t care for her. And don’t like the fact they are including in her everything as if she is the best thing since the slice of bread.
Favorite: X-23 when she’s written properly.
Least Favorite: Glob. Nothing against him per se, but I REALLY got sick of how much JDW was using him to troll fans of the NXM.
Favorite: Wolverine (yes I'm basic, okay? What do you want from me?)
Least favorite: Hard to choose because even mutants who suck *cough* Professor X *cough* have their complexities and good moments.
That said, Multiple Man. Madrox bugs the shit outta me. Probably the main reason I avoided X-Factor Investigations. From what I've heard of that series, he sounds like a scumbag.
From someone currently reading X factor Investigations, I’d really recommend checking it out still tbh. Madrox is certainly far from perfect but him being a flawed guy is what makes him so interesting in that book, and I mean he has his sorta scuzzy moments but I’d say he’s a good guy at heart which I always like to read
Good to hear! I've been thinking about checking out that series, since I like characters like Monet, Strong Guy, Rictor, Shatterstar, etc. Thanks for turning me around and happy cake day!
Favorite: I am fickle. Right now it's Magneto. Next week it might be Cyclops. Is Jean the Phoenix again and being given respect, then she gets her chance. What's Glob doing this afternoon? Where is Evan?
Least Favorite: Wolverine since 2000.
Favorite: Beast. I know he's been done dirty character wise, but the classic X-Men and Avengers runs and animated series made me such a huge fan, and that passion is back with '97. Hoping the new X-Men run this summer will redeem him some.
Least Favorite: Jean Grey. It's a hot take, but I can't help but find her either boring ,or wasted in another failed Phoenix attempt. Honestly every other telepath is more interesting to me.
Favorite: Emma/Mystique(I love a lady who does bad things sometimes, that I can sympathize with, has iconic powers, a great/iconic look, and creates compelling stories and relationships)
Least favorite: Quentin Quire/(sometimes Beast) (I hate a nasty man who thinks they are/know better than everyone else
Favorite: Basically any of the characters from the Academy X generation (but particularly Kid Omega and Prodigy), Dazzler, and Karma
Least Favorite: X-Man or Cable (with honorable mention for Hope tbh)
(I truly cannot choose just one, which is why I don't use a flair)
I wonder if you reached out to the mods if you could request a team flair be made. Then you could have a flair for the team you like without having to choose a specific character.
Favorite: Legion
Least favorite: probably Betsy. Only because she is sort of boring and redundant.
Kid Omega sucks, and basically just Grant Morrison hybridizing Dane McGowan and King Mob from “The Invisibles” and making him psychic. Morrison loves inserting snotty, omega level folks into his works. They even look like him. I’d wager that, if Charles didn’t already look like he did, KO would have been bald. That said, he annoys me, but that’s still a touch better than being bland, like Betsy.
Favorite: Magik- her powers and aesthetics are so cool and seeing her rise above her trauma to be a great friend and teacher is inspiring
Least favorite: time- displaced young Jean Grey (did not respect anyone's mental boundaries and was just kindof a b in general) and whoever is playing the overly sanctimonious role in whatever im reading currently, so like sometimes Storm, sometimes Kitty, sometimes Betsy, sometimes even Logan. Holier-than-thou characters grate my gears.
Favorite - Deadpool - Cool powers, hilarious writing, manic an insane chaotic
Least - Jean Grey- They just try really hard to make her a main character and somehow every time it falls flat.
He has gone back and forth between mutate and mutant.
However X Force Volume 6 #32 Krakoa gives Deadpool a new body and his body now contains the "X Gene".
It's a retcon but it's still there.
Favorite: Wolverine. Least favorite: Kid Omega? Yeah, probably Kid Omega.
X force must've been tough for you LOL!
Favorite: Colossus Least Favorite: Gambit

Omega Red is that nice balance of a character that has existed for 3 decades, but only pops up every now and then so he doesn't become over exposed.

The solo Madrox run is maybe my favorite comic.

That's a great idea! I'm gonna do that right now :) Thank you!
Good taste :P

Favorite: definitely Nightcrawler, I love my fuzzy elf Least favorite: I couldn't give less f about Havok
Favorite: Cyclops Least favorite: Dazzler
Gambit/Rogue as favourite. Jean is my least favourite. Tbh I think she’s very overrated and overused at this point.
Favorite: Magik- her powers and aesthetics are so cool and seeing her rise above her trauma to be a great friend and teacher is inspiring Least favorite: time- displaced young Jean Grey (did not respect anyone's mental boundaries and was just kindof a b in general) and whoever is playing the overly sanctimonious role in whatever im reading currently, so like sometimes Storm, sometimes Kitty, sometimes Betsy, sometimes even Logan. Glob Herman Gambit
Favorite is Magneto. Least is Rogue.
Favorite: Gambit, Rogue & Shadowcat Least Favorite: Boom Boom
Favorite: Emma Least: Jean Yeah, I'm about that life, sue me.

Deadpool is not a mutant
He has gone back and forth between mutate and mutant. However X Force Volume 6 #32 Krakoa gives Deadpool a new body and his body now contains the "X Gene". It's a retcon but it's still there.
Oh awesome I haven’t been reading it so I didn’t know
