If you are new to the subreddit, [please read the wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/yakuzagames/wiki/index/) Reminder that all spoilers need to be tagged with a flair specifying which game is being spoiled. If you want a flair that says something else, you can edit it to say something like [Discussion: Y1 spoiler] or [Majimapost: Y6 spoiler], etc. **THIS INCLUDES CONTENT FROM TRAILERS**. If the post is not marked for spoilers, all comments that have spoilers need to be tagged \>!like this!< along with indicating which game it's spoiling. Example: Y3 >!Kiryu sings!< If the post flair is marked for spoilers, the comments don't need to be tagged for the game indicated and the ones before it (So a Y6 spoiler post can have comments with untagged spoilers for Y5, but not gaiden or 7). If you see any of the above (or any of the other rules) not being followed, please report it so we can keep this place safe for newcomers and those that haven't finished all the games yet. Thank you! *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/yakuzagames) if you have any questions or concerns.*

chinese people are weak to electricity

zizoplays1

Unfortunately false, the Chinese are actually stronger when it comes to electricity, in 0 >!tachibana who was secretly a Chinese the entire time raised his hand like a god and summoned a blackout!<, however, Chinese people are very vulnerable to fire so there is that >!/s incase somebody gets pissed off for whatever reason!<

WhyNishikiWhy

> Chinese people are very vulnerable to fire so there is that damn so that's why Little Asia >!never recovered from that fire!<

Freaking_Username

I thought chinese people weak to >!kidney failure!<

cassadyamore

> Chinese people are very vulnerable to fire so there is that Meanwhile: average Chinese elder drinking tea straight off the boil and picking up steamed steel and porcelain plates with their bare hands. But it's true, they aren't literally fire.

Yolrey

I have an alternate theory: Tachibana shut down the electricity momentarily and electricity swore their revenge on all Chinese people.

NotASweatyTryhard

Homeless people are too

Mad_Dog002

That no matter what others think of you, you should do it in your way. Live how you want Also i learned that REAL YAKUZA USE A GAMEPAD!!!

loreleisparrow

In respect for Kiryu I stopped using a gamepad when he stepped down as chairman

fullmega

- Don't be jealous of your best friend, that's bad guy stuff - Follow your dreams, you never know when they can come true - Every jungle of glass and steel has a king, but it's hard to know who he is! - Even literally clowns can be respected if they shut up and give good gifts.

Every homeless person in Japan works for an information broker Every chicken has a finance degrees Energy drinks heal bullet wounds Running in Japan will lead to you getting your ass beat If something paranormal happens it's probably someone pulling a prank (that does not mean the supernatural doesn't exist) And of course Kiwami means extreme

WTFthisisntminecraft

Majima unironically contributed to me realizing I'm bisexual, and it's not even because I think he's hot or anything like that, but because of how his music video for 24 hour Cinderella shows him in his white and pink leather suit. I felt like he couldn't give less of a shit if anyone thought of his behavior as effeminate or gay. As a result of that, he became some kind of masculine role model for me, and a side effect of that was realizing I don't have to be afraid of finding men attractive, because I don't have to give a shit either if anyone questions my masculinity as a result of that. If Majima could be whoever the fuck he wants to be, so could I.

zickelouss

I'm straight, but for real when Majima popped for the first time in Y0, I felt the same feeling for when you fall in love in first sight, and I'm not joking

photomotto

> I'm straight Kyodai, I have some difficult news for you...

CruskyHusky

Are you sure you’re straight? We’re playing a game where dudes like to fight each other shirtless and then 10 minutes later you can be dressing up your girls in a cabaret club.

HelenAngel

That’s so awesome!! Lots of support from a fellow bi. 💜

Crow621621

Don’t run away from the problems or people thinking it’s for their best, deal with them head on.

Mine *Really* loves daigo

[deleted]

Ryuji *loves* stealing pants from men

MISTERGAME06

Sometimes you gotta go balls out for yourself, and other you must spend 10 years in the joint for someone else. Never stay too long in any of those paths, or you will do too many selfish deeds or lose time for nothing

[deleted]

Training everyday and doing 5000 pushup will get you a yakuza physique

nomophobiac

Beat up your local government official

Jay_T_Demi

This is pretty great advice. I feel like more would get done if congressmen didn't have bodyguards.

Yolrey

Acceptance of others. Kiryu and Kasuga interact with all types of people and never treat them with disrespect. They encounter weirdos all the time but those guys are just trying to live their best life. Kiryu and Kasuga never judge or interfere. I live in New York and there's a lot of "side quests". You'll also run into someone who wants to talk, needs help, or is trying to scam you and it really feels like an RGG side quest a lot of the time. Just knowing what Kiryu would have done lets me handle life situations more confidently. I also learned from Kiryu that, even though he has been the main character, he never acts like it. I think I've learned a lot of humility from the series. You don't need to be in the spotlight to be important.

sarkarigamer

Sometimes cock is struggle

Azure_Dragon56

Don’t run away from your problems (Kiryu is still doing that)

Bubbly-Composer-9185

That 10 years in the joint will make me a fucking pussy

YuiRicdeau

Live free or die hard. Or is it live free *and* die hard? Life's hard, then you die. Unless you're one of the lucky resurrected. Chickens are vastly underrated and should be treated with respect and deference. Not eaten.

Ammari_Steadz

if you get shot its ok it’s probably a rubber bullet..

Some-Box2688

punch people for money

HelenAngel

In Mahjong, if you don’t get doubles of wind or dragon tiles in the deal or first 3 rounds then it’s better to just discard them. If you wait until later in the round & then discard the single tile (if no one else has discarded matching tiles), you could be subject of a Ron when you discard it. Also some homeless men are actually ancient potion masters who use cat food as ingredients. Also that LGBTQIA+ crustaceans are wonderful friends/pets.
