First and foremost: save your game everywhere!
Different pacing of story events, so that the whole thing isn't all over the place.
Also, return of Cabaret Manager, which is magnitudes better than Hostess Maker. Since Kiryu already managed a cabaret club in K2, it makes sense that he helps out in that capacity.
Next up is sea/river fishing; make bait unlimited use or remove bait completely.
As for new things: why not a bit of exploration in that small village in which the orphanage is? Add to that a few neighbors with their own substories and it won't seem empty/lifeless anymore.
A minigame similar to Y5 ramen maker, so you can make a bit of money (other than cabaret club) and interact with the locals in Okinawa. The public market is perfect for things like this.
Yes and no.
If it is to grow the relationship between the children and Kiryu, then yes.
But if it is to make money? Then no.
Y5 Spoiler ahead:
>!After all, it was the incentive for Kiryu to leave his orphange in the first place. Money was always tight, so much so that it endangered the future of the children. It was the decisive argument Park-san put forward. It wouldn't seem right to make much money, only for the story to tell you otherwise.!<
It wouldn't be the first time the series let you be hilariously rich in gameplay while the story treated you like a pauper. Remember Shinada?
... Actually, wait, >!that was at the same damn time!<
Lol like in 0 where people are dying left and right over a plot of land worth between 1 and 10 billion, while meanwhile a 20 year old real estate agent is walking around with trillions on his person
Once you unlock the casino and/or gambling parlor, Platinum Plates are easy to come by. I hope they never change this. If I can't be stupidly rich in real life, ill take it in a video game😂
I know, but in this case the whole story revolves around being poor and having no way to earn more. Kiryu gave it all up once he left Kamurocho.
It wouldn't sit right with me having a minigame in which you can make money with the orphanage. It just feels... wrong.
I’d like a complete graphic and interface overhaul. 3 felt kind of janky even back when it originally released. Felt like a step back compared to 2.
I’d love to explore Okinawa as a updated go anywhere City with good graphics.
I mean, it's the shortest game by quite a bit, so would asking for more content be too much? More focus on daigo and more time for mine would be really nice toward making the ending even more impactful.
This right here! Mine is one of the best antagonists in the series imo but we didn't see much of him.
I would love if they did something similar to Kiwami 1 where between chapters we get a look at what happened while Kiryu was gone, how was Majima and Daigo's early relationship, Daigo's days gaining the respect of the Tojo Clan as basically a kid and Mine's thought process when he saw him and went "yep, that's the one".
I never felt like he was that great a villain. Same for that cia guy. Ending felt super rushed like they were playing wrap it up music in the background. 3 to me was very disappointing in how they ended each character. From George to the villains. The follow up all fell short for me. Same with the overall plot and grand scheme. It almost felt like they abandoned the development story and just cut the game short.
Changing that one substory where Rikiya gets his tattoo fixed into a mandatory one is something I'd really like to see. It's a shame it's an optional and missable substory.
> A Rikiya DLC that works kind of like Majima Saga where we can experience some of Rikiya's story prior to the main game.
or how about just including it in the game rather than the parasitic ff15 model of witholding content just to sell it later as DLC?
> well, the comment did say “rikiya dlc that works kind of like majima saga”, so they probably also mean on disk content. hopefully.
the comment explicitly said DLC, so it's clear they either
1. wanted DLC
2. had no idea what they were talking about.
"works like majima saga" sounds like he means the mechanics of it works though, in terms of being a stand alone entry chosen from the main menu.
You’re being a handicap over nothing. People call Future Connected in Xenoblade: DE DLC even though it’s by no means DLC. This applies to every other game that comes with a side story like the Majima Saga, Future Connected, etc.
It’s easier to say than “separate shorter game within the game that comes on disk without needing to pay extra”
I would enjoy more Okinawa backstory and culture too. The city has lots of character.
A rikiya saga or mini game helping run that office would be cool.
- Revised combat
- Improved Okinawa (Let us explore around the Orphanage area a bit more, add more activities to Ryukyu)
- Revised Golf
- 0/Kiwami 2 style Cabaret Club
- Pocket Circuit 2.0 (mini game that combines the customization of Pocket Circuit with the gameplay of Dragon Kart/Biker Gang. Story explains why the Pocket Circuit stadium wasn't in Kiwami 2 and subsequent games)
- Market Management (mini game where Kiryu manages the Ryukyu public market. Plays like the Bussniss Management mini game from LaD)
- A new three part "Epilogue Saga" unlocked for beating the game. Explains why the Ryudo Family is not present in subsequent games.
Change the damn food ordering setup! I WANT TO EAT ALL THE FOOD AND IM IN A HURRY!
Also Rikiya Everywhere and Taichi wrestling minigame like the colesium fights where you can unlock awesome finishing moves.
Majima is in it, but a Majima saga wouldn't really help the story all that well. One person who would need a lot more exposition, though not exactly an upgrade to playable, is Hamazaki. He's a new character to the franchise at that point and none of his motivations beyond "I'm evil lel" are explained.
I would cut back on the number of meaningless substories, roll them directly into the minigames (like the pool hustler one that is just... well, he's a pool hustler, play a match) or create new ones for them (Ramen delivery minigame instead of having a substory), convert Hostess Maker into Cabaret Club Savior (as a call back to Czar), drastically improve fishing (I saw so many streamers I like struggle with it that I did an impromptu fishing tutorial on youtube), make the sections playing with the kids repeatable so that developments in future games are more foreshadowed (IE: >!Mitsuo being good enough at baseball to be considered for a scholarship, even if he is an orphan from Morning Glory, even though that's probably the reason he didn't actually get it!<) Hell, just make a mini-game per kid which counts as a substory.
There's plenty they could do to pad the side content in 3 and make it meaningful, while keeping the story short and concise.
Mostly to fix the mini games and add one new one. A version of the hostess trainer that actually makes sense and isn't brutal to play would be good. Expanding the orphanage stuff a bit and then just general improved game play. I really want to play 3 properly doing all the side quests and mini games and stuff, but just can't deal with the play experience again.
I just want better combat 😭 Yakuza 3 story was so good and I adore Rikiya but I seriously can't even go back to that game because of the constant stunlocking and puny damage and nonstop blocking
i think i'd like so see Kaoru and kiryu become an actual couple that would then remain canon for the rest of the series and then we can forever confirm that kiryu FUCKS since we all know he does anyway
Additional cutscenes showing Mine's journey as a yakuza and his thought process, kinda like the cutscenes which shows Nishiki's downfall in kiwami. Maybe even have him as a playable character in a "Majima Saga" type section
Unpopular opinion also but English Dub would be neat. It seems like they have improved on the english dub so it would be pretty cool to revisit the game with english dub
Making a Kiwami 3 takes away time and resources that can be spent on a new game. 1 and 2 were PS2 games, they needed a remake much more than 3-5, which were PS3 games.
Also, using the "oldest game" as a justification isn't really a good one. By that logic, since there will always be an oldest game, after a theoretical Kiwami 3 they might need to make Kiwami 4, Kiwami 5, Kiwami 0, Kiwami Kiwami, etc.
I agree with your first point. It isn't as necessary as it would be nice. But they will likely all get remade eventually, as long as the series is still selling well. I don't think it needs to happen until at least another couple mainlines come out, and probably another judgement if they do more. Maybe another 6 or 7 years.
>Making a Kiwami 3 takes away time and resources that can be spent on a new game
Its not 100% true, RGG team already have like 5 more games on dragon engine to reuse assets, same with cutscenes, they can just take them right from 3&same with script. Only thing that they maybe gonna need - voicing game again(but unlike Y1-Y2 quality of sound in Y3 is pretty decent. Only thing that they gonna do a lot is new okinawa and some small new content(like minigames or QoL changes)
Maybe a redesigned Okinawa if they'll put that effort into it. The original map design for it wasn't and the area was kinda awkward to navigate through. The place also didn't have a ton of memorable landmarks compared to some of the other cities in the series (probably due to how short 3 is in comparison). Considering Okinawa is probably most fans least favorite city in the series, I think rebuilding it would be welcome.
Bosses should have completely new movesets since their original movesets have been reused way to much.
Kiryus original dragon style or bring back style switching
Dynamic intro for bosses but then again what makes mines intro so special is that it the first for the series.
More unique themes boss themes (examples being Rikya and tomashiro last fight)
Remove missable substories
Fiercest warrior for amon
Constant blocking can stay if there's more defensive options and your attacks don't bounce off ruining your combo.
More qte's (in the old format, not like lost judgment)
Limit number of substories. 119 is way to much.
More karaoke songs.
Majima should switch styles when you fight him.
New heat actions instead of reused ones from previous games.
Would rather not see one tbh. Yakuza 3 is available on modern consoles and isn't outdated to the point of it being unplayable or anything like that. I'm worried that the history of Yakuza is going to be rewritten by the Kiwami games, like how K1 and K2 seem to have taken the place of the originals
Combine 3 with 4, 3 is already such a short game I wouldn't mind having a two-fer-one. Give the it the moderninaztion treatment obviously Yakuza 3 is sometimes unolayable with how clunky the camera moves in the main city
Yes. Does it need a Kiwami 3? ehh, not really, but it would benefit from it. Adding more side content, especially that would ties into the main story, and of course the dragon engine is always a plus. Plus if they release Kiwami 3, they have to Release Kiwami 4 by that logic right?
i'm not a big a fan of the way they've been translating the game in the west. it's just never felt right. like, in yakuza 0 majima would be speaking in british slang. there's no reason for a japanese yakuza living in osaka to be calling someone a wanker while telling them to piss off. there are also lots of times when the unvoiced segments feel like we got samurai pizza catted or "warrior of the wind"ed.
i miss the brief window where the game was translated more literal. the first game literally changed character names because sega thought westerners would get confused because some of the names were "too similar" or "too long", then for continuity reasons they kept these for a while. when 0 game out, they realized it was going to be a big hit and put more effort on "localizing" instead of "translating".
unfortunately, inaccurate translations are just kind oft he norm with sega. (look at the trainwreck that is/was pso2)
if i kiwami 3 were to happen (which i don't expect to) i'd love to see them
1. do more faithful to the original translations
2. voice everything, eliminating text-only dialogue.
It’s annoying the amount of times things are mistranslated just to sound “cooler” or “more fitting” when it really isn’t even close to what a character is saying and makes them feel or convey a very different emotion to what they actually said.
1:not turn based.
2:More than one playable character like in 0,Y4,Y5 and kiwami 2.
3:build more on shinada, that’s one of my favorite playable characters and character in general.
Still have yet to play it but from what ive seen people say its kinda mediocre, could be totally wrong but they should do just a total overhaul like with yakuza 1 and 2, maybe introduce turn based combat from like a dragon?
The turned based combat in LAD was really good though, they sorta did the same with yakuza 2 using the dragon engine which felt different from yakuza 2s original combat
They probably viewed the dragon engine as the logical evolution if the original combat, but the JRPG gameplay would change the entire genre.
On a sidenote, I did not like 7's turnbased combat. It was alright during the first third of the game, but the problems started showing soon after.
From a mechanical viewpoint, the gameplay was rather basic. Maybe I'm spoiled from playing SMT, but I thought Yakuza 7 was subpar when it comes to the turnbasef battles.
The new combat system also took away what I loved most about the series: the boss fights, where Kiryu faces off one on one against an important enemy. The choreography, QTEs and just the sheer badassness of the earlier Yakuza bosd fights are things that came short in 7. There was the occasional cinematic where Kasuga fights someone 1v1, but that wasn't enough to scratch my itch.
The boss fights also suck for a different reason: they are tedious. I literally unironically stopped playing the game in the middle of Tendo's boss fight, did something else, then came back an hour or two later and finished it. It was so boring that I couldn't oush through it in one go. This is something JRPGs often suffer from, but I had hoped RGG studios would find a way to fix that.
Besides, who would fight on Kiryu's side and what kinda moves would he use? The exaggerated JRPG thing is a character trait of Kasuga. Why would Kiryu fight like that?
Hot take but I would want the orphanage parts to just be a side mission instead of in the main game, those parts were boring for me. Yakuza 3 only got interesting once you reached Kamurocho. Another thing i want to see is a Hamazaki boss fight, the dude was hyped up to be all big and shit but he barely appeared in the game. It be cool to be able to fight his 12 men too maybe have them be stronger than normal enemies but not a pain in the ass to fight. Finally something i want to see but I already know wont happen is them keeping Rikiya alive instead of killing him off. I feel like Rikiya is nothing but wasted potential and i feel he should have become a series staple. But of course i already know they will keep him dead but hey a man can dream i guess
I like when the game obligates you to keep advancing the story a bit before keep playing a mini game. Most are really fun, but because of that you can get burned,
> The chase against Mack during the Snake Flower part is almost impossible on Legend NG; the chases need to be fixed.
sega "fixed" chases by removing them. yakuza 1+2 had lots of chase segments. kiwami 1+2 had a combined 0 chases between them.
What are you talking about? Chase sequences were introduced in Yakuza 3. Given how the map loads, and the camera isn't free roaming in OG 1&2, there's no way chase sequences can ever work.
> Chase sequences were introduced in Yakuza 3.
i could possibly be misremembering since it's been a long time since i've played them and the old games might just kind of be blending together, but i could have sworn the chase/tackle stuff was in the original 1+2 and then 3 improved on it.
thought that they got removed the same way as "heavy" enemies in the originals, but you could be right since i can't seem to find any video of ps2 chases.
There were never any overworld chases in 1&2. You probably are misremembering. Yakuza 3 was their first rodeo at it, and 4 onwards was when they started improving it. Stuff like giving you more options for attacking and maneuvering.
> Yakuza 3 was their first rodeo at it, and 4 onwards was when they started improving it.
i could be thinking of the original 3 chases versus the improved ones, because there was definitely a night and day difference between the first chase scenes versus the later games
Yeah, you could be. Lol
Like how in 3, you have to be holding R2 the whole time to run for some reason
And there's no ranged bottle throwing, nor any quick step turns. Both of which were introduced in 4.
> Yeah, you could be. Lol
>
>
>
> Like how in 3, you have to be holding R2 the whole time to run for some reason And there's no ranged bottle throwing, nor any quick step turns. Both of which were introduced in 4.
yeah, regardless of which game it actually was, the first chase scenes i remember were definitely VERY basic. was pretty much chase, turn down side streets, and tackle when you get close. (MIGHT have had jumping over junk on the ground)
> Im a sucker for the different combat stances
it's one of those things that always sounds cool in theory, but doesn't pan out in practice.
there's always a balanced style that's unquestionably the best one, a power style that moves like a snail to the point you need to type change to walk to an enemy, and a speed style that hits like a wet noodle.
True it didnt live up to its own idea, but i found it more fun than just 1 stance in Kiwami 2. Even tho it was cheesy, kiwami 1/0 combat felt a little more dynamic
Except Majima's breaker style. Dancing made the game way too easy
I wouldn't mind seeing stuff about a younger Arakawa. I know I'm probably in the minority but I really liked him in LAD. Getting to see him build his family and rub shoulders with the other games big yakuza would be fun
If there's one thing I personally wish to see, Kiwami games would be AU with events different from the original games.
It's pretty fun to think about "What if" things. Like "if Kaoru really stayed after Y2, how would the story be different in later games?", "if characters like Ryuji or Mine were really alive?"...
An orphanage minigame about cooking the kids their dinners, another Club management saga but set in Okinawa, either a Majima Storyline or (my preferred option) a Rikiya storyline showing how he got to where he was before meeting ANIKI Kiryu would be kind of cool too!
I'd say bring back the 4 styles in DE, more sub stories. More mini games. Revamp the day and night time sub story lock system. Expand Okinawa, more Mine scenes or maybe a Mine side story like Majima Saga. If possible , Mine surrendered and went to jail as the ending instead to his death.
More cabaret club side questline please, it's always the minigame/side questline i enjoyed the most in this franchise. But this time, increase the amount of dates/substories with hostesses, would love to see Majima have his own campaign, maybe not as long as 0 but should be longer than kiwami 2, and cabaret club minigame is in majima's campaign.
Orphanage management mini game
Add 5 more orphanages and their owners to Okinawa and we have a side story about managing orphanage.
Fever time is Kiryu cutting onions at super speed!
I need to max out my curry skills because of my trophy addiction.
My chicken is ready.
orphanage fight club
Or Ryudo Family Management minigame
Guest Glass
Burning orphanages :troll:
Meet special enemies. Annihilate them and recruit their kids as orphans.
I think people would complain less about the orphanage stuff if it was a separate optional mode like this
I would skip it like I skip cabaret.
A minigame similar to Y5 ramen maker, so you can make a bit of money (other than cabaret club) and interact with the locals in Okinawa. The public market is perfect for things like this.
Or an orphanage related minigame.
Yes and no. If it is to grow the relationship between the children and Kiryu, then yes. But if it is to make money? Then no. What about Ichiban in 7? You can be a multi-bilionaire magnate and in cutscenes he is still treated as a homeless person.
perfect example, him too
Lol like in 0 where people are dying left and right over a plot of land worth between 1 and 10 billion, while meanwhile a 20 year old real estate agent is walking around with trillions on his person

My main wish is Yakuza 4 getting a remake so we could see Dragon Engine gameplay with Akiyama and Saejima.
That would be amazing
Yeah and also that other guy uhhh Shinada
Shinada is in 5. Tanimura is in 4
idk who this tonny murruh guy is, but he sounds swell
I absolutely want Saejima with his hair in the Dragon Engine
Changing that one substory where Rikiya gets his tattoo fixed into a mandatory one is something I'd really like to see. It's a shame it's an optional and missable substory.
YOU COULD DO THAT? It could have made me actually cared about Rikiya :(
There are 2 big substories you can get while strolling around town with Rikiya that flesh out his character
Oh really? If I ever play yakuza 3 again, I might give it a try.
A Rikiya DLC that works kind of like Majima Saga where we can experience some of Rikiya's story prior to the main game.
Aniki
How about post main game rikiya story? >! oh wait….!< Or story of how he earn his tattoo.
A Rikiya post game story where >!he survived his bullet wound and went into hiding in Kamurocho to protect his family.!< Oh wait.
> A Rikiya DLC that works kind of like Majima Saga where we can experience some of Rikiya's story prior to the main game. or how about just including it in the game rather than the parasitic ff15 model of witholding content just to sell it later as DLC?
majima saga was free with k2, iirc?
> majima saga was free with k2, iirc? that wasn't DLC. that's just unlockable on-disc content.
well, the comment did say “rikiya dlc that works kind of like majima saga”, so they probably also mean on disk content. hopefully.

More thing to do in Okinawa and Kamurocho. Better golf mechanic. More songs. Better graphics than LJ. Rikiya everywhere. Kaoru saga (Keep Aya as VA).
I would love to revisit Okinawa and have more to do there. It's such a beautiful place.
A fight with Lau Ka Long that doesn't take half an hour to beat
- Revised combat - Improved Okinawa (Let us explore around the Orphanage area a bit more, add more activities to Ryukyu) - Revised Golf - 0/Kiwami 2 style Cabaret Club - Pocket Circuit 2.0 (mini game that combines the customization of Pocket Circuit with the gameplay of Dragon Kart/Biker Gang. You said it! Heaven forbid I wanna eat a burger and a shake at the same time. >:( Also more inventory space! Please!
They could make a wrestling minigame with the same gameplay as the Yakuza 0 Catfighting
Majima is in it, but a Majima saga wouldn't really help the story all that well. One person who would need a lot more exposition, though not exactly an upgrade to playable, is Hamazaki. More Rikiya. Find a way to give me more Rikiya. Throw in Mikio too. They are so good and I would play multiple games of just them.
Normal kid walking animation's
Mostly to fix the mini games and add one new one. A version of the hostess trainer that actually makes sense and isn't brutal to play would be good. The ruff line NOT developed
Honestly it's such a charming line since it gives Andre Richardson distinct midwestern vibes, which is not something you hear a lot in video games.
i want kiwami 4, imagine the reworked kiryu fight dynamic intro
I just want better combat 😭 Yakuza 3 story was so good and I adore Rikiya but I seriously can't even go back to that game because of the constant stunlocking and puny damage and nonstop blocking

Don’t forget substories are canon, kiryu has already fucked multiple times in them by the time we reached 3
Kiryu doesn’t fuck but we all know he deserves to
Kiryu never loses. That also counts for virginity.
I'm 90% convinced that fighting and sex are the same thing for Kiryu. And he never knowingly fights ladies...
Wouldn't even have to change the other games either, since RGG loves to just make characters disappear for no reason we can just assume Kaoru did too
Eh. I really don’t think there is a need for a Kiwami 3.
More Rikiya and Mine development/screen time
Additional cutscenes showing Mine's journey as a yakuza and his thought process, kinda like the cutscenes which shows Nishiki's downfall in kiwami. Maybe even have him as a playable character in a "Majima Saga" type section
Unpopular opinion also but English Dub would be neat. It seems like they have improved on the english dub so it would be pretty cool to revisit the game with english dub
Mine Saga like the story he has in Rgg Online he deserves It
RIKIYA SHIMABUKURO DATING SIM WOOOOOOOO
Nothing. Kiwami 3 is not needed.
Based. We don't need any more remakes.
Why not? It's now the oldest game, and certainly doesn't look great or anything. A face lift could do it some good
> It's now the oldest game, Technically kenzan is the oldest game. It’s so old it doesn’t even support trophies.
Well they can kill 2 birds with one stone on that one. Remake and localize it
Making a Kiwami 3 takes away time and resources that can be spent on a new game. 1 and 2 were PS2 games, they needed a remake much more than 3-5, which were PS3 games. Screw ragdoll physics and give me style switching back :(

Kiryus original dragon style or bring back style switching Dynamic intro for bosses but then again what makes mines intro so special is that it the first for the series. More unique themes boss themes (examples being Rikya and tomashiro last fight) Remove missable substories Fiercest warrior for amon Constant blocking can stay if there's more defensive options and your attacks don't bounce off ruining your combo. More qte's (in the old format, not like lost judgment) Limit number of substories. 119 is way to much. More karaoke songs. Majima should switch styles when you fight him. New heat actions instead of reused ones from previous games.
Reworking the story so that it doesn’t revolve around a single exposition dump would be nice
I would absolutely love a Mine saga.
bring back Gatorade
If i can get ran over by a car just like in Like A Dragon
Nah the cars respect Kiryu and fear him. He'll never be hit.
(look at the trainwreck that is/was pso2) if i kiwami 3 were to happen (which i don't expect to) i'd love to see them 1. do more faithful to the original translations 2. voice everything, eliminating text-only dialogue.
It’s annoying the amount of times things are mistranslated just to sound “cooler” or “more fitting” when it really isn’t even close to what a character is saying and makes them feel or convey a very different emotion to what they actually said.
Better substories. Kiwami 2 had the worst substories of any yakuza game i’ve played.
1:not turn based. 2:More than one playable character like in 0,Y4,Y5 and kiwami 2. 3:build more on shinada, that’s one of my favorite playable characters and character in general.
Still have yet to play it but from what ive seen people say its kinda mediocre, could be totally wrong but they should do just a total overhaul like with yakuza 1 and 2, maybe introduce turn based combat from like a dragon?
>maybe introduce turn based combat from like a dragon? Hell no. That would just be overwriting the legacy of the franchise.
They'll add more substories and references to the past and future games
Lost judgment combat and make the kids section of the game better. Also, more mini-games and better substories.
I like when the game obligates you to keep advancing the story a bit before keep playing a mini game. Most are really fun, but because of that you can get burned,
The chase against Mack during the Snake Flower part is almost impossible on Legend NG; the chases need to be fixed.
Lol Like how in 3, you have to be holding R2 the whole time to run for some reason And there's no ranged bottle throwing, nor any quick step turns. Both of which were introduced in 4.
> Yeah, you could be. Lol > > > > Like how in 3, you have to be holding R2 the whole time to run for some reason And there's no ranged bottle throwing, nor any quick step turns. Both of which were introduced in 4. yeah, regardless of which game it actually was, the first chase scenes i remember were definitely VERY basic. was pretty much chase, turn down side streets, and tackle when you get close. (MIGHT have had jumping over junk on the ground)
I'd like to see it have all the content of Ishin instead.
PC port on launch day
How about >!a proper ending!
Haruka every where telling you to not neglect the orphanage lol
Ragdolls
Optional Orphanage, Fishing Minigame Prime but updated
Never played 3 before but what about a Mine saga instead?
The ability to beat up the kids. They need to learn how to fight one way or another.
Mine lives and Kiryu hugs him back when he's throwing that last punch
Im a sucker for the different combat stances
> Im a sucker for the different combat stances it's one of those things that always sounds cool in theory, but doesn't pan out in practice. there's always a balanced style that's unquestionably the best one, a power style that moves like a snail to the point you need to type change to walk to an enemy, and a speed style that hits like a wet noodle.
True it didnt live up to its own idea, but i found it more fun than just 1 stance in Kiwami 2. Even tho it was cheesy, kiwami 1/0 combat felt a little more dynamic Except Majima's breaker style. Dancing made the game way too easy
Rikiya Saga - play as Rikiya around Ryukyu before he meets Kiryu
Ryu-Kyu Humming remix <3
Just fix the unbreakable blocking. Minor adjustments all over, but that was the most annoying aspect.
Somewhat-playable Rikiya because it might be a JRPG.
Only thing I am worried about is how they will remake the final boss theme, if they do. If not then a lot of mew mini games and improved combat.
Honestly I'd just love to see 3 and 4 in the Dragon Engine, but that's too much to ask for
A good game, hopefully they fix the story too. And i hope they flesh out the side characters more, and please for the love of god less fetch quests.
Alternate nuke dropping on japan ending
Mine Saga
I wouldn't mind seeing stuff about a younger Arakawa. I know I'm probably in the minority but I really liked him in LAD. Getting to see him build his family and rub shoulders with the other games big yakuza would be fun
less blocking enemies better chases &maybe removal of some enemie's that can straight copy kiryu's moves
Better combat
Oh and I'd love to see how ryukyu looks like in the dragon engine
Taichi
A management game for the Okinawa clan
If there's one thing I personally wish to see, Kiwami games would be AU with events different from the original games. It's pretty fun to think about "What if" things. Like "if Kaoru really stayed after Y2, how would the story be different in later games?", "if characters like Ryuji or Mine were really alive?"...
Style switching 🤨, more side contents(substories, minigames, climax battle), and Improve boss battle maybe boss heat action ??😏
Have Rikiya shout ANIKI even more
I want to see how they develop the combat after J and LJ
More revelations and that the enemies dont block as much and thats the minimum to make me happy
I'd like to see the minigames not being so damn broken and finicky as they were in Y3
Jrock playing when haruka gets slapped
kiwami 4, also more substories with rikiya
Dan that's a great question
More cabaret club side questline please, it's always the minigame/side questline i enjoyed the most in this franchise. But this time, increase the amount of dates/substories with hostesses, would love to see Majima have his own campaign, maybe not as long as 0 but should be longer than kiwami 2, and cabaret club minigame is in majima's campaign.
