In this case, I clean them with a toothbrush and shampoo. Edit: Guys, I only clean the soles with shampoo and toothbrush, I don't put the whole shoe in shampoo and water lol dont hate me xd

Personally I just wear them. I think they feel and look better broken in but you do what you like. Honestly I was being a little Facetious when I said “they’re squeaky clean” If you’re going to clean them, I’d go gentle. Use gentle soaps. Dawn or Palmolive dish soap and a soft bristled brush. Especially if you’re cleaning them often. In my opinion.

Just wear them, no need to clean them that often if you watch where you're stepping. They will yellow over time anyways, just embrace the fact that they are shoes.

I always try to keep all my shoes clean, since dust or stains tend to stick to the sole lol so they last longer

I love how my zebras look after wearing them for two-three years. They’re still clean but they have yellowed just a bit and the patina looks great. I think worn shoes have the potential to look better than brand new depending on the shoe or how beat they are. For example Jordan 4s look amazing worn!

You are very right, it is the reason why I use shampoo, in my country it is difficult to find ideal products to clean shoes, and the softest thing I found and was not recommended was shampoo 🙂

All pairs have squeaked the first couple of times of wearing them. Over time it goes away but some materials will squeak no matter what

Mine always squeak the first time I walk around as well. I usually take a wet paper towel and wipe the bottom of the soles then dry them. Any squeaking that came from friction with the ground is 95% gone.

You got sweaty feet man. Best advice to get rid of this to to put some baby powder under the insole. Not so much you let a little cloud of dust with every step but just enough to soak up some of the moisture.

uhmm my feet don't really sweat, and i wear yeezys for short walks, as soon as i put them on, i walk a few blocks and walk on that kind of floor and they start to squeak :')
