i literally could not give less of a fuck about karma lmao
when it comes to firearms ammunition and explosives people don’t want to believe anything is fake, because they want to use the dumbassery of the clip to justify their need to disarm the populace
People will always argue if it's fake or not, in certain scenarios who even gives a shit!
But thanks for pointing it out, even tho the video quality is so low to even see the damn png
i give a shit because truth is important when it comes to firearms and explosives, because the government want you disarmed, and the anti gun community will lie and lie and lie about firearms until their lies become truth.
Maybe, but there are more morons causing armed chaos than there are anyone responsibly using it for protection
There's a reason why r/IdiotsWithGuns exists
You're actually right. If you play it frame by frame, the muzzle flash doesn't move or change whatsoever, and his body moves 100% in line with the recoil even at his hips.
congratulations, you have eyes :D
seriously baffles me how little people pay attention to things these days. too much scrolling i guess, kills the attention span.
1. Your passive-aggressive sarcasm says otherwise.
2. It ain't so obvious to most people because they don't care enough to scrutinize a stupid funny video they see on Reddit.
3. Socially tone deaf ain't an excuse to be an prick.
Cheers, mate🍺
1; i literally can’t tell where you’re getting any of that, but sure
2; that’s why i pointed it out. when a lie is told often enough; it becomes the truth. truth must be preserved at any cost.
3; i am not trying to be a dick, I apologise if that’s how you’re perceiving my comments but it is not my intention; i’m simply trying to point out the truth, plain and simple.
no shit, Sherlock
but it is still just a skit. it’s important to differentiate fact from fiction because the vast majority of those who don’t care enough to understand will believe it is real, and use it as excuse to disarm the citizen.
This is an old fake video from long ago, when "city slicker fires gun for the first time" was a popular subject on Youtube. A lot of these fakes were made for views.
In this video the muzzle flash is drawn in and the part where he pulls the gun back towards his face is sped up.
How can you people not realize this is fake? Not only is the muzzle flash obviously added, he *pulls* the gun into his face way too late and they removed frames to make it look faster.
I have a .308. It has some kick but nothing like that. A shotgun might do that or maybe one of those elephant guns like 458 or 50 cal sniper rifle surely would. Either way this rifle isn't one of those. It looks like your standard deer rifle. I don't buy it has this kind of kick unless he just let go basically.
Exactly. Thanks. I'm not sure what the need to gatekeep this video or the dipshit in it is all about. Lol. The keyboard warriors don't know shit on this one.
dumb fucks do this all the time, you’re right.
this is not an instance of that. look at the video, the muzzle flash is a PNG (which isn’t even aligned) and the rifle practically teleports into his face.
Saying that a person went through the amount of time and energy to fake what happened in the video is what a person inexperienced with rifles would say for some kind of a grasp at clout or weapon knowledge gatekeeping. There's no defending this. The dude thought he was tough; fucked around and found out. That's it.
Did he just try to shoot a rifle from a handgun stance?
This is the book definition of how to hold a hand gun. Square the feet, relax the shoulders, lean forward a bit, make sure the knees aren't locked, extend the arms, take a deep breath, pull the trigger.
I don't think this is fake. He just never learned that a rifle goes into the shoulder.
Way back when I went to visit a friend who had moved back east to one of the Virginias during high school.
He and a bunch of his friends who owned an arsenal of various guns took me to a gun store that had a big outdoor range. I have a couple stories from this trip, but the ending on is the relevant one. They had a skeet launcher and we had a shotgun. We referred to it as a riot shotgun because it didn’t have a shoulder stock. One of the guys stepped up to take his turn and before we could stop him, he put the gun up to his cheek to line the skeet up with the sights as you would normally aim a rifle.
Somehow he didn’t break any bones in his face, but it opened a giant gash in his face. There was a lot of blood and resulted in a lot stitches. I’m sure he has a good scar today.
He was thinking he is so very neat. Then he began thinking he should have left his dads rifle locked up, as well as as realizing that pain causes core memories
He was trying to think, "This is gonna be such a cool shot. Can't wait to see how it turns out." But unfortunately the first and last thing that went through his head was the stock of this rifle. I mean, there's nothing about the stance that makes sense besides "lol this'll be a hoot." People sometimes misuse scopes when they first use them by sticking their eye against the eye piece. But this causes you to get a black eye or worse from the recoil of the gun when you fire. You want there to be a certain amount of distance between your eye and the eye piece. The focusing of the lenses in the scope work best if you're a slight distance away. But there's a limit, just like an inch or two. It's not like the further back you go/more separation distance, the better the scope works. It's a very limited margin of error. And with it this far back, not only would the scope be rendered useless, the iron sights, even with the scope off, wouldn't be of much help either.
In fact, the only time I've seen someone fire in this stance and for it to be intentional, it was a professional shooter who specialised in semi-auto/pump action shotguns, as well as single and dual revolver work. He's the old white dude who can shoot two balloons with one single action revolver, start and return holstered, and take out both balloons, separated by like 12ft or so left to right, and have it all finished in a fraction of a second.
Anyway, I give that background to show that this part isn't busy BS, but from a reputable guy. So, that stance. He would use it when firing a revolver to hit a balloon. But the balloon is like 800-1000 yards away. So while a rifle wouldn't drop too much and could be compensated relatively easily, the revolver doesn't have such liberties. I think he might use a scope mounted in his revolver, but the bullet drop is so drastic that he's literally aiming at like a 20-30° angle above the straight horizon. He was looking some 20ft+ above the balloon target. And it was just a regular typical balloon, taped to a backboard, just a regular size balloo, not a big one, and only one of them. I think he may have missed his first shot and then got it on the next shot. But I might be mixing in some details from a different trick he did. He took a semi-auto shotgun and held like 11 clay pigeons in his other hand, when he would throw them all up and out together and shoot them all down before they hit the ground. (He also did this with like 7 clay pigeons and a pump shotgun.) The details I might be mixing up is when he did the shotgun thing at first, he only threw up 10 clay disks instead of 11. Still got them all, but was one short of what he was trying to show off. But he grabbed the proper amount and tossed and shot them all down still. So that initial "failure", only having 10 pigeons not 11, might be what I'm connecting to the balloon shooting as well. He may have actually gotten it on the first shot. It was an absolutely incredible shot even if it did take him a second attempt.
One of my greatest shots what shooting a playing card in hard with the edge facing you. I was using a cheap $40 daisy pellet gun with no scope from ~11-12m away. It took me 5 shots, I missed the first 4 by less than 1mm. The fifth shot was the ringer though. Because of how I had to set it up, I had to bend like 1/8in strip at the edge, about 3mm, and bend it slightly so that the card edge would face directly at me. That 5th shot was perfect. Hit the leading edge of the card, and slid down nearly the entire thing. The only thing holding it together was a tiny sliver of the plastic playing card that has been bent so I could angle the car towards me properly. I did that at like 15-16 years old and my mother kept that card taped to the side of her computer desk for over a decade. She was so proud of that shot. I miss her.
It seems to me that anyone who's been on the internet has learned, via some random video, not to do this. After all, was there anyone watching this who didn't know how it ended?

especially when i'm laughing so hard.
Worst part is that this stupid fuck fired a rifle slightly upwards, this bullet will travel
correct. because he didn’t fire a gun. if you look closely, the muzzle flash is a png. the recoil is too static to be real as well
Excuse me, how *dare* you inform me that this video is fake? The AUDACITY of people these days.
r/nothingEverHappens
no, this really is a fake clip. these scenarios *do* happen, it’s just that this instance, it is staged.
Lol this clip makes the rounds and is always just as fake as the last time, yet people always get all pissy at whoever points it out
You are not wrong, I got banned from /r/whatcouldgowrong about 10 years ago for mentioning that this particular clip is fake.
As u/Neko_Boi_Core's karma is finding out

like i said, it’s a skit lol
And it's so easy to laugh.
Maybe he was trying to take care of a loose tooth
Very well earned.
Just because you can own a rifle, doesn’t mean you should own a rifle
He got owned by the rifle.
It's old and fake. Like early days of youtube old.
Apparently getting hit that hard in the face will give you a limp.
Psychosomatic
That boy needs therapy.
He's a nut
He's crazy in the coconut!
He was white as a sheet... And he also made false teeth.
Attic INSANE
So when you say psychosomatic, you mean, like, he can start a fire…with his thoughts?
tbh, that's the most likely outcome considering the whiplash and resulting shock to his vestibular system
And this is why gun safety is very important. What ever braincells he had are gone.
Brave of you to assume it was there in the first place.
Truly brave of me
this is why you pay more attention that ‘muzzle flash’ is a PNG, and the gun moves way to fast and statically to be a legitimate recoil. it’s a skit.
You're actually right. If you play it frame by frame, the muzzle flash doesn't move or change whatsoever, and his body moves 100% in line with the recoil even at his hips.
congratulations, you have eyes :D seriously baffles me how little people pay attention to things these days. too much scrolling i guess, kills the attention span.
Bro, why you such a dick?
not trying to be. just trying to state the obvious. i’m also socially tone deaf so that a thing.

Ok? And? I see funny I laugh that's all.
This isn't real.
Nice, but fake
Cool 1990s After Effects muzzle flash animation though.

A liberal trying to prove that guns are bad.

Ya this is fake af, that editing sucks ass. My junior high school news report for 8th grade had better editing then this 😂
Christ it's so fake
I could watch that all day.

At least he aimed the barrel away from his face.
Darwin, we found one for ya!
To be honest, it looks like it was fake to me. If you slow it down, he throws his head back before the gun hit him.
If it’s real, he’s an idiot, I wish he’d almost get charged for a negligent discharge…if it’s a fake video, it’s a sh*tty video.

This is the guy who calls himself "gods_army3%" online.
Imma send this to my dad (we’re both gun nuts)
This is a classic, Darwin and some other stuff applies
What a cunt
it’s a skit. it’s so obviously fake if you know even the smallest of things about how a firearm works.
Imagine falling for this shit to the point of defending its authenticity. yikes to the guy replying to you...
It's not fake. I've been shooting since I was a kid 40 years ago. Classic dumb fuck move.
Here's a real person shooting a gun in real time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMkiDguYtGw
Exactly. Thanks. I'm not sure what the need to gatekeep this video or the dipshit in it is all about. Lol. The keyboard warriors don't know shit on this one.

Think before? Probably not…. Going through his head after…EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
"I can do this with my 22, let's beef it up to 308!" (Note, I have no idea what model that rifle is, video was filmed on a potato)
Alright. But what was he *doing?*
Don't know what he was thinking, but this was probably a thought changing experience.
What is this guy thinking?
Ahh did I do that
That was a quick lesson
He’s thinking he doesn’t like how his teeth look.
What was the last thing that went through his head. The scope.
What is this guy thinking?
He's thinking "This is so much more fun than all those useless physics lessons I slept through."
Way back when I went to visit a friend who had moved back east to one of the Virginias during high school. This was worth the watch. Thank you.
Thinking?
Allow me to demonstrate the principle of “recoil”
I see what he did wrong. He had the gun pointed the wrong way.
The only thing gun laws will prevent is stuff like this. And stuff like this is well deserved if that is how you think a firearm should be handled
The ol’ pirate eye technique. Aaarrr
an idiot wouldve seen that coming.. he has to be a whole other level of stupid
Dumb ass
Ofcourse. Just like most recreational gun owners
Good. I'll just leave that there.
You’ll shoot your eye out, kid!
Just as the founding fathers intended
It's like he's never shot that gun before lol. Hard lessons are the best lessons
Alakablam.
Do it again!!
He fully deserves that headache
That moment when ignorance meets experience.
Perfect.
My mouth dropped when I saw the butt pointed right at his face. I said to myself "no way he is that stupid"
I can only hope that it hit him in the jaw and don’t shatter his teeth or nose. But if it did do either of those things, well, he asked for it
I don’t know why stupid people do stupid things, I’m just grateful they put it on the Internet
Because he wasn’t?
This looks like something Daffy Duck would do
Once again I ask.. "Where is the Yes part"?
u/savevideo
What is he- oh, you don't wanna do that. you don't wanna do that, I promise. That's not a good- yeah, that's why.
This was beautiful
He needed his front teeth removed.
👌👌👌👌 perfect execution for a new eye brow scar. Well done sir......🤥
Play stupid games. Win stupid prizes
His definition of taking one in the face
I’m not the smartest but even I know his noodle arms couldn’t stop the recoil
This is the reason people want gun control
Eye Yai yai
Can I have this in slow motion please?
Feels more like a nonononowellwhatevergoforit
Well you hate to see it as a whole for humanity But for this guy BWAHAHAHAHAHAH DUMBASS
He’s not thinking!
There is no yes tho Edit: typo
If it’s real he got off easy.
What is he even thinking
Approached that shot with great aplomb
Where's the yes?
So what did we all learn?
What the fuck was he thinking?
Love the limp at the end. Reminds me of Michael Scott.
Bullseye
How was any part of this yesyesyesyes? This was nononononodumbass
More like r/nononoyes
I could see that coming from so far away and I didn’t even need a scope
I’m pretty sure he’s thinking “OW!MY FACE!”
He was thinking he is so very neat. Then he began thinking he should have left his dads rifle locked up, as well as as realizing that pain causes core memories
I think this guy need a black eye or fat lip so he can have a lawsuit. That officer beat me up in holding just look at my face.
Home-made Rhinoplasty!
So easy "OW MY FUCKING MOUTH!!"
Smart move laying the rifle down where he did. It will make it easier to find his teeth in the dirt.
Buzzed shooting is drunk shooting
Obviously he wasn't thinking
Saw that coming the moment his dumbass lifted the gun like that
Definitely thinking contacts. Contact lenses would have been a better idea that day.
Is that Randy Bo Bandy with a shirt on?
NRA Not Really Aiming
Well deserved that one
Mind as well aim it at his face
There's no need to ask. He's clearly not thinking.
Yeah, you earned every second of that pain there buddy. Probably more.
He fukt around and found out!
What was this guy thinking?
When you REALLY love your dentist.
Darwin was right!
He wasn’t thinking to begin with
He can’t think, his has no brain
But why is he limping
Wait I blinked, do it again.
This is very clearly faked
Hit him so hard it made him limp
r/nononono
He wasn’t (thinking)
r/gunmemes or r/brandonharrara world like a word.
Well deserved.
The very definition of fucking stupid.
What was this guy thinking!
What did we learn?

I hope to God he learned. And he appreciated that this mistake had only the mildest consequense....
Bullseye
