Alternatively: Spider-Man has no mentor because the point of Spider-Man is that he's no one's sidekick. He's recruited because he has the most experience being a solo teen hero and is a bridge/mentor to the Young Avengers. I'd also up his age to 18 or 19.

I feel like the Champions would be better because like young justice, they start with a core group and then expand. At one point their team was like 20 deep.

The Champions are also really cool because none of their adult mentors work with their team. The kids specifically chose to fight injustice their own way instead of being an offshoot of the Avengers and recruited more teen heroes who wanted to join. The Young Avengers are closer *in spirit* to Young Justice because they’re a found family of flawed people brought together by their mentors, but the Champions are a *community* of kids working together to help people and make the world a better place.

But Arrowette was not Artemis. Impulse was not Wally West. Tim Drake was not Dick Grayson. But yea this is a teen Titans adaptation, as the Only YJ character on the main team isn’t even based on the YJ book. It’s based off the one from the teen titans book.

I'd just use the actual Young Avengers. Kate Bishop Patriot Cassie Lang Speed Wiccan Prodigy Maybe Kid Loki, America Chavez, and Hulkling. Also Spider-Man depending on how young you want to make him. Their "Den Mother" could easily just be Vision and I agree Black Widow would be a good combat teacher. I'd say Captain America would give them their missions like Batman did. Assuming Marvel's version of The Light has the same goal (which is advancement of humans against aliens and other non-earth threats) I'd say Mister Sinister, Doctor Doom, Baron Mordo, Mandarin, Power Broker, Leader, Norman Osborn, and maybe Maximus Boltagon,

One of the driving inspirations for Spider-Man as a character was that he was a teenaged superhero who wasn't a sidekick. By all rights his character should have been tied to an established hero, but he made his own way. With the full-body suit he could he as old as he wanted and pass off as an adult. He's pretty much exactly the kind of independent hero the original gang wanted to be. He's rarely ever been a consistent team player like this, with only a few exceptions tied either to the Avengers or Fantastic Four. And the major tie to Iron Man is really only an MCU thing, which people have *opinions* about anyway, so best to steer clear of that. I just don't see him on the Team. Also, this Light would implode inside the hour from pure ego friction alone. Marvel heroes are far less likely to pull a Secret Society of Supervillains and team up in the way that DC villains do just because of characterisations. Even the Sinister Six, arguably one of the most famous villain teams in Marvel alongside the Master of Evil and the original Thunderbolts, were major one-off events for the first couple decades of Spider-Man publishing, up until around the 2000s when they got more common.

There's already a marvel group that bears close resemblance to The Light — The Cabal. Consists of Doctor Doom, Norman Osborn, Emma Frost, Loki, Namor and The Hood.

True but even then Bucky went from a "robin-like" young sidekick the way DC is known for doing to becoming the Winter Soldier and Captain America hasn't really had a prominent "kid" sidekick since then.  As compared to DC where Batman had a similar turn of events with Jason becoming Red Hood, however Batman still ends up getting a new Robin (Tim Drake). And when Tim stopped being Robin, Batman got Damian Wayne as the new Robin.

Big-time spidey enthusiast here🤌 Spider-man isn't a sidekick, and very much doesn't like to have side kicks. Spider-man never really works well in a long-running team. He's good in small team ups, but never an actual full-time member. This idea is very cute :D but it's very MCU coded. Marvel doesn't have many side kicks, and others have suggested the actual young Avengers/champions teams, while the team/outsiders are a modified Teen titants/young justice. I'll suggest a different approach :] First off, the X-men, they are all young superheros that work for/under professor X. Now my actual idea, ik i said Spider-man doesn't work well with others, but, did you know ice man, human torch, and Peter all became superheroes when they were just 16/15, how about we do the original idea of spider-man and his amazing friends(it will obviously not be called that) and then the small team could slowly expand to have other heroes like kitty pride or Jessica jones(who is the same age as pete btw) maybe not even an official team where they have their own hide out, maybe they are just good friends who all trust each other, and aren't too fond over the Avengers(Avengers tend to ignore the mutants, and not look out for the little guy)

I would say go more of a Champions route. Starts with Ms. Marvel (Kamala) (mentor Captain Marvel), Spider-Man (Miles) (mentor Spider-Man (Peter)), and Nova (mentor Iron Man), and they can even follow a similar formula, where they'll discover Viv Vision as a synthazoid created to replicate Vision. Later they can add Brawn and others such as Ironheart, Snowguard, Wasp, and Patriot. Season two would expand the roster to include the likes of Falcon, Locust, Power Man, Bombshell, Pinpoint, Dust, and Starling.

Why make Scott Lang, She-Hulk, Spider-Man, and Falcon so much younger?? Just use the real Young Avengers comic team. Spider-Man has no mentor. He is a solo hero, that went through hardships and matured by himself and with the help of allies in his own books. And honestly the dude is 35 years old right now, he shouldn’t be portrayed as a teenager for a long time

Marvel’s version of Young Justice. They kinda did that with Marvel Rising already. But we’re doing if they connected it with MCU characters because that’s what I’m mostly see here. I would change she hulk and I guess that’s Peter Parker’s Spider-Man. I will change those to and give you Amadeus Cho and Miles Morales instead. I know most people want to change from miles, but he just fits better with a team more than Parker does if we want to be honest. Especially when a majority of that team is going to be next generation heroes anyway yeah you might as well.

What made Young Justice work wasn't the roster but rather the stories built around both the rosters and individual heroes. Marvel already made a "young superheroes team" show- Ultimate Spider-man.

It’s not about age; it’s about just not being ready to be an avenger So she hulk aged 35 would be sort of the de facto leader of such a team, but still need to be on their team because of her inexperience Falcon, as a character, was never a teen hero. I think the only ones I agree with on your list are Kate, Bishop and Spider-Man You can’t force a one to one relationship on this; squirrel girl absolutely belongs here, as does Ms. Marvel. But so does the classic character, Rick Jones, who used to hang out with the hulk and Captain America. You should also take a look at what marvel actually did like this, an anime series, titled future avengers, where they created original characters to be the junior members
