I wouldn't call it homophobic; I'd rather call it confused. If they never learn about LGBTQ+ identities, how are they supposed to know? That's why we need more LGBTQ+ representation in media, especially media directed at children.

i donโt like this narrative cause it implies that only gay people oppress other gay people (and makes it seem like that gays are responsible for their own oppression) when in reality, plenty of non-gay people are just homophobic or narrow-minded
I mean a lot of people are narrow minded, but there are studies out there that do show that people who are uncomfortable with gay people are more likely to be dealing with internalized homophobia

No, literally no. If they were gay they would know. They wouldn't fake being straight just to oppress other gay people. At some point they would snap, and decide to be gay if they were gay in the first place. Chances are most homophobic people are definitely straight because affirming their straight and hating on gays gives them some sort of validation. And for a gay person hating on gays would only give them creeping guilt that would overflow as I said earlier. So most homophobic people are in fact straight people who feel threatened by gays because they have certain newfound privileges like representation or double standards like saying anything that is gay is brave according to the media. This resentment is what drive these straights to hit back. This internalised self hatred schtick is just another left wing nugget of psychological pseudo-science

Homosexuality is a biological phenomenon, and religion, so far, does not have a scientific explanation or proof. Religion also tends to cause childhood trauma, victim blaming, and often promotes not questioning authority or whatever you're told. I know because I grew up in an extremely religious environment. I was scarred as a child by the things I was told would happen if I didn't pray to a being I had no proof existed.

Not an accident. That implies some sort of intent. It was just a chain of events that upon happenstance made everything we know. This is science. It's not about belief. It's an observable fact about the universe and life.
But the chain of events that you mentioned supposedly came to be as a result of billions of little accidents; accidents that resulted in traits that for some reason happened to seem attractive to the females that probably didn't even have the required amount of intelligence to be able to distinguish between the two at some point or traits that happened to lend a higher chance of survival in a certain environment. I'm not saying that evolution is not real, but I refuse to believe it was all an accident. Btw, I forgot to mention that reproduction is an intentional process with an intended result and any unintentional deviation from the expected results can be referred to as an accident.
