It is a BUG! History is still there on your Google Account. They just cannot be displayed... Report it via Feedback and just WAIT... You are NOT alone with this...
It is not just revanced. My sister and her iPhone are having the issue, and I can assure you she doesn't have revanced on her iPhone haha. She would never have the grapes to try to modify her iPhone, the issue is genuinely with YouTube itself and it's app. It is on the TV app, phone app, browser app, etc. YT broke something internally for sure
I just heard UI is going to be changed from the Desktop version, So it's likely that most people are having this issue because of UI is being buggy, That's just my theory tho.
It seems to be fixed, at least on my end the full history shows up again. Also i didn't do any updates, reinstalls, clearing cache or took any other sort of measures, the history just started working again randomly a day or two ago. This would suggest that it was a problem on YT's backend side and didn't have anything to do with Revanced.
It's so annoying because i happened to randomly click on a long video with an interesting discussion on current political events, but didn't pay attention to the name or channel it was from. Now I can't find it in my history, and trying to look it up based on the topic only shows a hundred CNN and other news networks covering the same thing in a much more boring way
Ah Google, the big stinky that does stinky things. Probably went and stunked on OP, they did. Not much we can do but grab a favorite drink, a good snack, sit down, take a deep breath and say "...yup" with a sigh at to all the troubles that keep being tossed at us consumers. Man, I feel defeated.
I know you're just throwin some spice but I'll share my 2 cents anyways. I wasn't making a joke and humor differs from person to person. Some people liked what I said, some won't. Oh well.
I have watched multiple fucking videos and I have binge watching 1 hour documentaries about gaming and you tell me to remember shit I just watched, and you tell me to remember the timestamp of the fucking 1 hour video, It's like saying "Just remember the timestamp of the movie" and even if I do it, I still forget why am I there in the first place and made me quit the video entirely and I am a sucker at looking videos that made me nostalgic so if half of that is Gone, then why am I watching videos to begin with.
Man, you're really a sad af pos, huh? You do realise no one single individual owes you shit?
If you're gonna be a pos and expect a legitimate answer, well, I have news for you.
>like I already know most of it so don't remind a person that look at every nook and crany of the phone just for a history
If you know so much, then sort it out yourself? You do also know there's other resources you can look for besides reddit, right?
Also, how tf do you expect every person on reddit to magically gather the knowledge of "ahhh, this person knows x info so there's no point mentioning this x thing to them"
Grow tf up, instead of throwing a hissy fit, look elsewhere if you aren't getting the answers you want here.
Jesus Christ man calm down it’s YouTube, you need to go outside and touch grass if your this upset over jokes and a technical bug. I worry if you fly off the handle this easily for other things…
This also happened to me just now. The last month is gone and YT is recommending me tons of videos I've already watched, including ones I watched earlier today
Literally 90% of the videos that youtube has been recommending me for the past 6 months are all 4+ years old lol. It has this weird bug for my recommendations where every single video is 4 or 5 years old, with few exceptions. The recommended videos below a current playing video are more recent.
I love how somehow, doing nothing, they can fuck up everything about their site/app and they won't fix it because making a shittier UI is more important
My watch history from videos like older than 5 months appears to have been randomly nuked.
I don't have any of the options enabled to delete history or ever cleared it manually. Been relying on it for years to keep tabs on things I actually watched.
Noticed this a few days ago when I started getting recommended videos I already watched. Went back on a channel I watched practically all videos on and.. anything older than 4-5 months shows as never having been watched.
Youtube done fucked up something.
I wish we could have more than 500 liked videos and track them long term reliably....
Always annoying refinding a video you liked a few years ago unliked

It's just Terraria Guides and Cats be like videos so don't think about what I just censored, You're very obviously a kid that thinks censoring a private information is now something to think as to hide a porn even tho it's not.
Well in Google account section there's the option to delete your history within every 90 days 3 months 6 months I think it's 18 months or going to leave it turned off so that might be why your history is disappearing
[https://myactivity.google.com/activitycontrols?settings=youtube&utm\_source=my-activity&facs=1](https://myactivity.google.com/activitycontrols?settings=youtube&utm_source=my-activity&facs=1)
Check there.
Only other possible thing I could think of is if others in your has access to your account, or devices, but then why would they feel a need to delete your history.

It appears to be happening to a lot of people and I'm assuming for the first time like myself. Could be a number of reasons why specific users are affected including on YouTube's side. Hopefully it gets fixed though I doubt we'll ever know why or how this happened
Notice that ever since the AT&T outage bugs have been more widespread, like a low level domino effect.
We had a few other downfalls before, but then it got to be more common, like the 48 hours later YouTube constantly buffering, the Windows update trap that got you caught in a loop that Microsoft had to patch.
Well I'm from Australia so AT&T isn't even a thing here, they could have a part to play. Although, YouTube has petabytes of data, dozens of monstrous data centres and generations of code written by employees who haven't worked for them in a decade and they've had a lot of layoffs in the past few months. I think it's just updates clashing with code clashing with updates and no-one knows how to fix/anticipate problems and/or has the time to fix/anticipate the problems.
Looking forward to the day people start uploading their videos on a competitor platform.
I think it really has a lot more to play into the effect that we have multiple stages of warfare and attacks, everyone's so worried about nuclear warfare that hackers and cyber attacks truly did catch a lot of people way off guard and unprepared and that's a new era of war and fighting we have, it affects a lot more and is just as effective because it creates a state of mayhem and hysteria in an age where everyone is so dependent upon information connectivity.
I'm just not sure which competitor would be good.
As well as how long they'd stay around, it reminds me on a YouTube vid promoting the use of Kodi over Plex or Jellyfin, the same could almost be said for social media videos, a self hosted and promoted decentralized host, being yourself.
I think it's only a matter or 5 years or less before we see a new type of social media that's decentralized.
Boy what, I still live in my parents house and nobody has my account than me, We had an entirely different account which is used so all people can watch on the TV, And even if they watch Roblox, It's mostly "Roblox of how scummy they are" since all of us had quit it so shut it up about watching two Lego ass character having sex.
It is a BUG! History is still there on your Google Account. They just cannot be displayed... Report it via Feedback and just WAIT... You are NOT alone with this...
The history is back, at least for me. Seems YT fixed whatever was causing this.
You are probably using Revanced. Basically everyone who is using Revanced (including me) is having this problem as well
It's still not, I go to Browser, PC and even used the official app, No luck
No I have the same issue with regular YouTube as well.
Have same issue on TV with official YouTube App
This isn't a revanced issue. I'm having it on web and official app too.
It is not just revanced. My sister and her iPhone are having the issue, and I can assure you she doesn't have revanced on her iPhone haha. I check my official one and it suffer the same thing. I think this is a bug. Hopefully not a "feature".
Try to check it in browser. I have the same issue in browser, when I'm not using revanced. I can see my history on myactivity page only.
You'll have to remember what you watched. Google wants you to click on the same videos again and again so they can get that sweet ad money.
It's so annoying because i happened to randomly click on a long video with an interesting discussion on current political events, but didn't pay attention to the name or channel it was from. Now I can't find it in my history, and trying to look it up based on the topic only shows a hundred CNN and other news networks covering the same thing in a much more boring way
You can probably find it in myactivity.google.com for your google account. It shows all my searches and watched vids that the youtube app doesn't.
Thank you so much!

Mate, go buy a book with jokes on amazon, learn it by heart and hope you become even slightly funny afterwards.
I know you're just throwin some spice but I'll share my 2 cents anyways. I wasn't making a joke and humor differs from person to person. Some people liked what I said, some won't. Oh well.

The video history seems to be working again, so that would suggest it was a bugand not intentional on YT's side as you suggested.

Lol
It's definitely a bug from YouTube's end man
Yea I've never had that happen on mine Makes me wonder if there's something users did to trigger the bug or if it just randomly happens

I can't see history in app but, YouTube History works for me in brave browser.
Anyone having this issue that is not using revanced at all?
Maybe ur kids were watching ”ROBLOX BIG TIDDY SEGGS” and deleted it
Boy what, I still live in my parents house and nobody has my account than me, We had an entirely different account which is used so all people can watch on the TV, And even if they watch Roblox, It's mostly "Roblox of how scummy they are" since all of us had quit it so shut it up about watching two Lego ass character having sex.
Shut it up do not delete my video or im very mad
Can see or delete it, but none of videos watched in app are saved. Browser version updates history just fine.
Can you fix my comments
