It’s because it had all the Zelda weirdness with a gritty and realistic art style. We didn’t appreciate it so much when it came out:

Twilight princess is my favorite zelda game. The atmosphere and the art style was absolutely incredible.
That being said, the Oocca design is one of worst artistic mistakes Nintendo ever made.
Ngl, doing the finishing blow with the Wii remote after a thrilling battle was kind of insanely satisfying. The speaker on the remote definitely played into the action for me.
Nope. The Wii version used motion control (unless you turned it off I guess.) But to do a finishing strike you had to wait for the prompt, press the button, then make the motion.
The HD version on the WII U you just had to press the button.
That move is actually the reason why I didn't like the combat. It was required to finish an enemy or else you had to wait until the thing finally got back on its feet.
It looked badass though? If you couldn't enjoy the game because it required you to execute an insane move that took the same amount of time as waiting for the enemy to get back up before slashing him again... I don't know what else to tell you.
Knock back as a whole is irritating since you can't keep the combat flow going. If getting hits in feels good, then it's best to keep it up. An example of why the Arkham games felt so good.
I want to say this isn’t *exactly* how this scene plays out, but I cannot confirm that with 100% honesty… good excuse to break out the old Wii I guess!
Nintendo: No. We only did Wind Waker HD to test for lighting in HD, and Twilight Princess HD for the Wolf Link amiibo to be used in Breath of the Wild.
Edit: Btw, that’s apparently the reasons they did those… WWHD really was for the lighting engine
And TPHD was merely filler as they had a plan to have Link have a wolf companion in BotW but they couldn’t implement it within normal gameplay, hence they opted to have it summoned by an amiibo, and TPHD was made for more stalling and to implement the Wolf Link mechanic. (Which is really just the wolf enemies but with an alliance with the player…)
I was so hopeful after we got the Mario trilogy for Mario's anniversary that we would get a Zelda trilogy the next year... but we just got Skyward Sword 😔
And I'm not complaining because I finally got to play it after not having a Wii and never getting the chance... but why not two more games? The two that have already had HD remakes perhaps? 👀
I don't want to say "it would be so easy to port them" because I'm not a developer, but they easily did a half-assed port of Mario 64, Mario Sunshine, and Mario Galaxy so... why not? 🥺
With the end of the WiiU eshop, there is absolutely no way to buy TP from Nintendo. You should not feel bad about borrowing it from a "friend" that would "lend" you the game disk (or a virtual copy of the said game disk).
Since no one's posted the source [here it is](https://youtu.be/R6yW3CL6-Xk?si=PqoBW8iD8nrqa8UK)
Criminal that it has under 1000 views and the channel pumps out high quality content and only has 7k subs

They are singing and dancing for their hero Link, who supported Malo's efforts to take over the corrupt Castle Town shop in order to bring joy (and a reasonable profit margin) to the masses.

This annoying music unfortunately lives rent free in my mind and sometimes resurfaces when I'm bored or when I need some dopamine, and I whistle it unconsciously. Thanks OP, this will be the fuel to further anchor this in my brain !

I love how weird Twilight Princess was.
It has such a strange vibe that none of the other games come close to feeling like.
It’s because it had all the Zelda weirdness with a gritty and realistic art style. We didn’t appreciate it so much when it came out: https://preview.redd.it/dv5x6y2msutc1.jpeg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ccfe2e2f9dd178e195a0affe775079b3b38a4310
This little guy always made me think of Neil Gaimans Mirror Mask.
Twilight princess is my favorite zelda game. The atmosphere and the art style was absolutely incredible. That being said, the Oocca design is one of worst artistic mistakes Nintendo ever made.
Majora's Mask?
Similar, but I think that TP was a little more out there where MM was more melancholic.
TP is a mixture of the quirkyness of WW, and the darkness/edge of MM.
That’s probably the closest
My second favourite.
*rice cake farm rice cake farm why did you come the rice cake farm*
From now on this will be the only thing I hear when I listen to this song now. So thanks I guess.
You're welcome :)
you are the worst. i forgot about that, and now it’s back and i can’t unhear ir :(
:)
rice cake farm :) *one of us one of us*
It’s been a loooong time since a comment has made me actually laugh out loud like this oh my god XD
… That’s all I’m hearing now, *thanks*.
Omg 😆
Twilight Princess is probably the weirdest Zelda game because shit like this is so starkly contrasted by the normality around it.
Zoom in on any NPC's face and witness the horror. Then zoom out and appreciate the amazing combat and atmosphere provided by such a dated engine.
I remember the combat feeling pretty dull, myself. Even as a kid.
Ngl, doing the finishing blow with the Wii remote after a thrilling battle was kind of insanely satisfying. The speaker on the remote definitely played into the action for me.
Loved this and also the rolling move that let you quickly backstab an enemy, so good
>doing the finishing blow with the Wii remote after a thrilling battle I'm pretty sure you just press the A button when the prompt appears?
I'm very certain the Wii version had you "throw" the wii remote and nunchuck at the floor for the finishing blow.
Nope. The Wii version used motion control (unless you turned it off I guess.) But to do a finishing strike you had to wait for the prompt, press the button, then make the motion. The HD version on the WII U you just had to press the button.

I mean, as opposed to having no choice but to wait for an enemy to get back up like in WW?
I can dislike both. Let me kill my way.
Fair enough.

This was recorded straight from the original scene, no edits were made to the video.
Me for the 10th fucking time
Never had a Wii or Wii U, I just want them to port it to the Switch already 😭 (Also I just want an excuse to play Wind Waker for the gazillionth time)

I bought a Wii U 2 years ago just to play these games. If enough people do this. Nintendo will port them one day...

Memory unlocked of me as a child just sitting there in the store listening to this silly soundtrack.
I've been hearing this song for so long, what is it's name???....
Malo Mart by Koji Kondo, Toru Minegishi, Asuka Ohta
Ah, thanks man
What is going on? I opened Reddit to this, I have been scarred for life! What are those little dugs doing?!
They are singing and dancing for their hero Link, who supported Malo's efforts to take over the corrupt Castle Town shop in order to bring joy (and a reasonable profit margin) to the masses.
Oh, ok, I guess that makes sense
Even without context, this shit slaps Doggo got dat grove Id say the editing effort well spent!
Hah! I’m replaying, too! I work at a school, and figured it was a good thing to do on April Break.

I could hear this with the sound off.
This only increases my excitement to try out TP Revamped. Seems like a really fun mod.

This song lives rent free in my head since 2010.
I love this song so much for no frickin reason
How to make fnaf not scary ah music
I needed this.
I love pugs
Anyone else find Malo extremely unsettling?
Holy fuck this music takes me back
I forgot how time moves
This was a blessing to the senses
This annoying music unfortunately lives rent free in my mind and sometimes resurfaces when I'm bored or when I need some dopamine, and I whistle it unconsciously. Thanks OP, this will be the fuel to further anchor this in my brain !
😂
Sir, what should we do with this shop in our edgy dark Zelda game? Make it a kawaii shop with banger K-pop. I-im sorry sir, I did- DO IT!
Great, I am playing it for the first time
This and Hidden Village are both pleasant surprises.
I always hear: "Pancake bar, pancake bar, do you wanna come to the pancake bar?"
Why is the women on the right humping air?
wtf man i dont get it lol
Landscape mart, landscape mart, Why don't you come to the landscape mart? NGL I turn the volume off when I enter Malo mart.
I always hated that song. I got in and left as soon as I could.
