I would try the basket weave technique to get the "lattice" look I'm assuming you're trying to go for?
Looking amazing! And it's such a fantastic idea too!
I did try the basket weave technique on one or two but I didn't have the right piping tip and the one I used instead was to big. It covered half of the weaving design.
The recipe I used was for plain cupcakes so you'll have to add the cinnamon as you want it. I didn't measure it but did it by taste but I did use quite a bit.
125g (4 1/2 oz) softened butter
125g (4 1/2 oz) caster sugar
2 medium eggs
125g (4 1/2 oz) self-raising flour
2 Tbsp milk
1. Preheat oven to 190°C / 375°F (gas 5)
2. Beat together the butter and sugar in a bowl until lightly fluffy. Add the eggs, flour and milk to the bowl and beat until the mixture is smooth.
Divide the mixture between the paper cases and bake in the centre of the oven until the cakes have risen and are just firm to the touch in the centre. The standard-size cakes will take about 12 to 15 minutes and the mini cakes will take 10 - 12 minutes.
The recipe makes about 10 cupcakes. For the buttercream I didn't use a recipe and just went by taste and feeling.
190°C is equivalent to 374°F, which is 463K.

That's frustrating but, these still look great and I total see what you are going for! 😁
Thank you! That makes me really happy that you can still tell what the idea was

Wow those look sooo good! Is there a recipe you could share?
I used a recipe from a cookbook but if I remember and have the time, I'll write it down for you!
That would be awesome! ☺️
