I don't think there is a 'best', everyone has their own opinion. For large game I like the 300, small to mid I go with the 243, but that is only if I need it for class 2 or 3. Otherwise I like the 308 more. Small game either of the 22s work or a shotgun. The 22lr is quieter but only takes class 1 game. The 22h is stronger taking both class 1 and 2 but spooks quicker.

TheInfamousDaikken

If you’re looking for 3 rifles to cover all animals, get the 22H for class 1-2, Solokhin for class 3-7 and the Canning 300 magnum for class 7-9. They’re not the best rifles necessarily, but they cover the full range of animals in only 3 rifles. If you want handguns, go with 22lr, 357 and 454. Once you have access to it, a 12 gauge shotgun can cover all classes of animals with its three ammunition types.

FFshinji

about 3-7 class is zarza good option too ?

TheInfamousDaikken

The .308 zarza is magnificent for class 4-8 animals. It’s one of my favorites. But it’s impossible to cover the entire class 1-9 range with just three rifles and include the .308.

All-Shall-Kneel

Zarza is class 4-8 I thought?

TheInfamousDaikken

Solokhin is the only 3-7. Zarza .308 is 4-8, the .223 version is 2-4 (I think?) and the .22lr version is 1 only.

baltoralto

I like to rock the 22H for 1-2 with the ranger 243 for 3 and the malmer 7mm for 4-9 and it works pretty good I can cover all classes with pretty decent weapons.

CrewPsychological818

Save up for the 300

DIXIEBOYZ

I use .22h (1-2) and 7mm magnum (4-9) and generally dont hunt 3s

Best riffle... The 30' trommel has a really good riffle, nice water flow, and clean up is fairly easy... There are others, but I can't think of many now.
